“Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works.  Have a reverent fear for the Lord, and you will be honored. "While charm can be misleading and physical beauty may be fleeting, it is the woman who holds reverence and awe for the Lord who truly deserves praise and admiration. Her character and faith bring lasting value that transcends mere appearances."

Good morning, everyone. I hope this day is off to a great start, and I hope you are trusting God, surrendering to him, and asking for his help, because he's a good God.

Welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

God is so good, and He's working in our lives to do something great for us. So, I want to thank him and all of you for listening to this prayer podcast.

Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and the Prayer Warrior of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.

Today, God is turning things around because He wants to do something great in our lives. He wants to give us wonderful pleasure that we don't even think is possible.

Today is April 18th, the 108th day of the year, and God is still with us because he wants to do something great in our lives today. So, I am encouraging everyone not to be fearful, but remember that God has great things in store for us. Let us pray with confidence and fear the Lord, for the things of this world, so His will can be accomplished in our lives.

Our scripture will be taken from Proverbs 31:30. And it reads, “Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”

Today, no matter what life is showing us, we can be glorified and reminded that, no matter what is going on, we can know that if we truly fear God, we can have a grateful day.

So let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father. Lord, we come before you today. We want to thank you for allowing us to see another day. We thank you for waking us up with the desire to pray, the desire to seek you, the desire to call on your holy name.

Lord, we are so thankful for the desire to surrender to you. We know, that you have great things in store for us. We know it's because of your mercies that we are here today.

Father, we come before you today with a grateful heart, recognizing your divine power and grace in our lives. Recognizing it's because of you that we are here today. Lord, fill our hearts with joy as we go through this day. Lift our voice in praise as we glorify you. Help us to pray with assurance. Help us to pray with joy.
Because you're turning things around in our lives, for our good. Because of what you have in store for us.

Sometimes we don't know the future. We don't know what you have in store. But you know everything. And so, you are doing great things for us because of your plans for us.

Lord, you are reminding us today that favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain. But a person who fears you shall be praised. Hallelujah, God. Thank you for reminding us that, sometimes, we're looking for favor, and it's not coming the way we intended because favor is deceitful, as your word said. And God, sometimes we get caught up in beauty, and beauty doesn't come off the way we intended it to come off because it can be vain, and it is vain according to your word. But God, help us to fear you, to reverence you, to honor you, to glorify you so that we can praise you the way you desire for us to praise you.

As we go through this day, remove doubt, fear, oh God, and everything that is distracting us from you. Remove it, God, and place in us a heart that will love you, a heart that will praise you, a heart that will glorify you, a heart that will not give up on you. Help us to cultivate the spirit of praise so that we may be joyful every day.

Lord God, joyful in our home, joyful wherever we go. help us to worship you, and fill your presence in our hearts, so your anointing can take over us.

Father, instill in us fear that is rooted in your word. That will honor you and love you as we should.

Lord God, we know that there are many things that are happening in this world. We know disappointment will come, sadness will come, oppression will come.

God, thank you for reminding us to cherish our moment with you. And now focus on all the things of the world that will distract us from you.

Lord God, you are reminding us that favor is deceitful and beauty is vain. But when we praise you and glorify you, we will see your will taking place in our lives. And we can glorify you the way you desire for us to glorify you.

Lord God, let your will be accomplished in our lives. Help us to praise you like we should, honor you like we should, and to reverence you as we should. Help us not to give up on you, Father, but to know the holy God we serve is powerful. Help us to draw others to you, to pray and seek you, and shine so others can come and glorify you.

God, we are asking for your protection as we go through this day. Let your will be accomplished in our lives. Help us to glorify you, reverence you, and fear you the way you desire for us to do.

In your mighty name we pray…Amen.

I want to encourage everyone who is praying today. Don't stop praying. Trust God. Let his will be accomplished in your life. Please have a wonderful day, and we'll pray again tomorrow. God bless you. Bye-bye.
