Welcome, everyone, to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture today will be taken from Ecclesiastes 3:14, and it reads, “Know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.”

God is reminding us that he knows everything and nothing can be hidden from him. Everything he does is eternal and unchangeable. His actions are complete and perfect; nothing can be added to what He has established, nor can anything be taken away. The Lord wants us to stand in recognition of His authority and power. So we are going to pray for God's direction and realize that God will do great things in our lives, for he has the power to do more for us than we can do for ourselves.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with our hearts brimming with gratitude. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the One who was, who is, and who is to come. You are the unchanging, everlasting God, whose love never fails.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that “Whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.”
Father, your plans are eternal, your purposes unshakable, and your ways higher than our ways. Even when we face uncertainty, when our lives feel unstable, and when tomorrow feels unclear, we can rest with joy, knowing that you hold all things together.

Gracious God, teach us to pray with confidence. Let us not come before you fearfully or with hesitation,
but boldly, as beloved children who know that their Father is listening to their prayer with compassion. Help us to trust that every prayer we pray is heard in heaven, and that nothing escapes your attention.

Father, as we go through the day, strengthen our faith. Remove doubts, fear, and worry. Teach us to honor and worship you with reverence and admiration, and find joy in your presence.

Lord, let our lives reflect your gratitude, not only when things are easy, but also in times of testing.
Teach us to remember your words that, “It will be well with our soul,” because you are with us.
Lord, as we go through this day, help us to connect with you and celebrate who you are, for you are our healer, our provider, our comforter, and our defender. You are the One who redeems, restores, and renews.

Lord, remember those who are hurting, those who are brokenhearted, those who are sick, those who are weary, those who are anxious, and those who are lonely. Please send comfort, healing, rest, and peace. Lord, please wrap us in your arms, and remind us that you are near to all who call upon you. For whatever you do, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. For you, God does it, that men should fear before Him. Father, we are praying that your Spirit would draw us closer to you and help us to know the depth of your mercy, the power of your forgiveness, and the joy of salvation that we have in you, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lord, help us as we go through this day. Let our prayer of devotion turn into acts of kindness. Let our gratitude overflow into generosity. Help us to be instruments of your peace, ambassadors of your kingdom, and shining lights in darkness.

Lord, keep our hearts steadfast and centered on you. When distractions arise, refocus our attention on your word, for you alone are worthy. May our lives be a living prayer, a continual offering of thanksgiving and worship.

Lord, as we close this prayer, help us to remember that Nothing can be added to what you have in store for us.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray… Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
