“Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. Now he who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” (Romans 8:26-27)
Prayer works. The Spirit of God will help you overcome your weaknesses.
“Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. I hope your day start off great, and I want to thank God for each and every one of you.
Thank God to remind us that prayer works, and he have great things in store for each and every one of you. Remember, I am your host and Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady of Elyon Bible Church, Apostolic in New Jersey. Today is another great day.
Today is the last day of August, August 31st, 31. Today is 243 days of the year, and yet we are still praying, we are still trusting God, we are still celebrating God, we are still rejoicing, we are still giving God thanks for all that God have done for us. He's a good God.
He's a great God. He's a loving God. He's a powerful God.
A God who is rich in mercy and grateful in love is all that he have in store for us. Our scripture today will be taken from Romans 8, verses 26 and 27. And it reads, Likewise, the spirit also help in our weaknesses.
“For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought. But the spirit himself make intercession for us. We're groaning, which cannot be uttered.
Now he who searched the heart, know what the mind of the spirit is. Because he made intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Father, thank you.
Holy Ghost, thank you. Spirit of God, thank you. Thank you for interceding on our behalf.
Even when we don't know what to pray for and what to truly say. Thank you for working things out for our best. So we're going to pray with thanksgiving as we go to the Lord today.
Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, our wonderful God, our holy God, our righteous God, our everlasting God, our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. Lord, we come before you with rejoicing in our spirit.
We come before you with joy. We come before you, Lord God, praising and honoring and glorifying your holy name. Hallelujah to our Lord, to our God and our Savior.”
“Hallelujah, Savior, hallelujah. Thank you for another day to rejoice. Lord, you are reminding us, Lord God, that Lord God, you are a God who know each and every one of us, God.
A God who know how to intercede on our behalf. A God who know what we are short, and how we need to improve. A God who understand us more than we understand ourself.
Yes, God, you are reminding us that your Spirit, God, help us in our weakness. There are so many times we are weak. We grow weak in spiritually.
We grow weak physically. We grow weak mentally. We grow weak, God, financially.
We grow weak in so many different eras of our life at times, God. And weakness sometimes take hold of us, God, oppressing and depressing our spirit at times. But God, you are reminding us that your Spirit, Lord, were into being on our behalf.
You will help us in our moment of weakness. Oh, God, because you are reminding us at times we do not know how to really pray. At times we don't know how to seek you, God, or God in the right way.”
“But you know how to intercede on our behalf. You know how to truly pray. You know how to make heaven our home.
You know how to break every chain. You know how to remove every sadness, every oppression, every depression. You know God how to help lift our spirit, God, and help us to fly in wings like an eagle.
You know God how to restore the broken ears of our life, and spiritually strengthen us, God. You know how to let us worship you in ways that we never thought possible. So here we are before you today, surrendering to the holy, mighty, and powerful God that we serve.
God, we need strength. And Lord God, we don't even know how to pray in a mighty way for strength. But Lord, thank you for reminding us that today, your spirit is making an intercession for us.
Your spirit, God, is praying on our behalf in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Your spirit, Lord, is doing something magnificent for us that we can't even do for ourselves.
“You, God, know what this day has in store, this hour, this minute. And you, God, are interceding on our behalf because, God, you want the best for us. So thank you, Lord, for interceding with groaning, which cannot be othered, things that we just cannot fully understand, the ways in which you are, God, hallelujah, directing our path, that, God, it doesn't even come to our mind.
So, Lord, I thank you for searching the heart, for knowing our mind, understanding our heart desire, understanding the thoughts that are moving to our mind, body, soul, and spirit. Thank you, Lord, God, for knowing what's best for us. Sometimes we think we have the solution.
Sometimes we think we know what the next day will be. Sometimes we think we know each and every day and the choices. But, Lord, we don't know.
Because you know that's why you are interceding on our behalf. Thank you for being a God who cares so much about us. Lord, thank you for this moment to pray and fully surrender to you.
God intercede for us this day. Go ahead of us and prosper this day. Help this day to be a “wonderful day.
Remove every oppression and depression and sadness. Remove every doubt and fear and anger. Remove everything, God, that's not a few.
And give us the strength, God, to fully serve you. The strength to fully know you. The strength to fully surrender to you.
God help us, Lord God, not to fall short, but to live a life that are pleasing to you. Search our heart. Intercede on our behalf.
Help us, Lord God, in every moment of our life to trust you, to rejoice, to give you thanks. When life is good, help us to praise you and thank you for your goodness. When life is not perfect, help us to rejoice and thank you because you are still interceding and life is not perfect.
And so as we go through this day, give us the strength we need to rest on your promises, to trust you, to believe that you have great things in store for us. Believe that you are gonna intercede on our behalf. You're gonna make way out of no way for us because of the love that you have for us.
“Help us to believe in the power of God, to believe that prayer works, to believe that you are interceding on our behalf. Help us to believe that your desire is to do something great for us. So Lord, take control of us as we go to this day.
Remember our families near and far. Remember our church leaders near and far. Remember everyone who are praying near and far.
Remember everyone who are seeking you near and far. Lord, you see all of us. You know us by name and number.
Lord God, I pray that the power of God will transform us into the saints of God you're destined for us to become. Help us never to stop praying, never to give up on you, but to rejoice for your goodness. Help us to celebrate this wonderful day.
And Lord God, thank you for your power that's moving in our life. Thank you for your greatness, God, that's taking control of us. And help us, Father God, to rejoice and know that you, God, even in our weaknesses, you are praying on our behalf, and you're working everything up for our good, in your mighty name we pray[…]”
“Amen, amen, and amen. Thank you, Jesus. I don't know about it, but I really truly thank God for praying for us today.
His desire for us to have a great day. So lean on the Lord today, and we'll pray again tomorrow, by God's grace. Bye bye.”
