Sep 12 - Day 255. Bought with a price. 1 Corinthians 6.20

“You were bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:20)

“Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.

Today, I am rejoicing, and I'm giving God thanks, because this is another day, and I feel like shouting hallelujah, hallelujah, Lord, and glorify Him. You know why? He didn't have to wake us up today.

We didn't have to even be here to get up prayed, but he did it. And like the songwriter said, I just want to give God praise, because he have been so good to us. Remember, I am your host.

I am Dr. Victoria Haddad. I am the First Lady of Elion Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. Today is another wonderful day, September 12th, 255 day of the year.

And we are still praying, still trusting God, still celebrating God. So I just want to give God some praise today. And I am encouraging all of us to praise the Lord as we go through this day.

Our scripture will be taken from 1 Corinthians 6, verse 20. And it reads, You were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, because “there are God. Wow, wow, wow.

Today we are going to pray and we are going to glorify God. We are going to honor him. We are going to thank him and cherish the moment that we have with the Lord.

So let us pray. Their have a lasting father, their wonderful God, their glorious God, our King of King and our Lord of Lord. Lord, we are joined with his son right and God, we just want to give you praise today.

We want to thank you for another day. We want to worship you God. So here we are in our present God glorifying our have a lasting father, our King of King and our Lord of Lord, our Savior, our Redeemer, the Merciful God, the Grateful God, oh God, the God who have not given up on us.

Oh Father, thank you. Thank you for a moment to come together and pray. Another moment to celebrate you.

Father, you see the desires of our heart. Lord, today we are thanking you for waking us up with a mind to pray. We are thanking you for not giving up on us.”

“We are thanking you, God, for allowing us to celebrate this day, to glorify you, and to thank you for another day. Oh Father, God, help us Lord God as we go to this day to remember that God, you were bought with your price, God. Oh Father God, you bought us with a very expensive price when you shed your life for us, when you give us hope, God, that we didn't even have for ourselves, when you give us, God, assurance that there's greatness in store for us when we fully surrender to you.

So Lord God, we thank you, we celebrate you and we glorify you for buying us, for buying us with that price. Therefore Lord, today we want to glorify you. We don't know what is installed in this day.

We don't know what this day have in hold, but we know we serve a mighty, powerful and loving God, a God who have redeemed us, a God who paid the ultimate price for our sin, a God who sacrificed his very own life so that we can have life more abundantly, a God, hallelujah Jesus, who went to the cross of Calvary, endured “the sadness. Oh God, a God who give up so much just so we can have it. So Lord, today we want to honor you.

We want to celebrate you. So as we go through this day, Lord, we are praying for your direction. Help us, Lord God, not to focus on the things of this world, more than we focus on you.

But help us, Lord God, to seek you wholeheartedly. Let our heart, God, surrender to you. Direct us, God.

Help us to make good decision today. Help us to say good words. Help us to please you, God.

Let our action and our thought and our behavior, God, it gears towards pleasing you. Help our life, God, to focus on the love that you have for us, that you went through so much to prove your point of the love you have in store for us. Help us to be an example to others.

Transform us into the people of God you're destined for us to become. Let your power move through our life this day, God. Cover us under your blood, God.”

“And Lord, today, as we go through this day, help us never to stop praising you. No, God, help us to give you praise. You know what this day have in store, God.

So we are praying for your protection as we go through this day. We are praying for your guidance, God. We are praying for your coverage, God.

Oh, God, you see all of our destination. You see, God, the desires of our heart. And you know, God, what we each and everyone gonna do today, God.

And so, God, we are praying for help, God. Cover her families under your blood. Strengthen everyone, God, who are giving up hope, God, to keep on trusting you and never give up hope on you.

Strengthen everyone, God, to rest assured in your promises, God, that you will never fail because you are not a failing God. So, Lord God, thank you for sacrificing God and shedding that blood for us and burdening us with our expensive price, a price that we ourselves could not have done. I thank you for everything, God.

Let your glory, God, take hold of our mind, body, soul, and spirit, God. Let your “glory penetrate our body, God, our spirit, and our heart in ways that we never thought possible. Let us never give up on you, never doubt you, never, Lord God, take you for granted, but let your will be accomplished in our life, God, because you are holy God and a righteous God and a mighty, holy God who will never give up on us.

So we thank you for everything that was said and done. And another moment to pray. In your holy name, we give you thanks.

And God, thank you. Help us to give you praise as we go through this day. In your mighty name, we pray.

Amen and amen. Thank you, Lord. I want to encourage everyone who are praying.

Isn't it sweet to worship God and pray every day? It's a wonderful blessing to take a moment out of your day to spend with the Lord. And that's why I thank you for listening to this prayer.

And I know God have a great thing in store for us. Just trust him. Glorify him as you go through this day.”
