Oct3 - Day 276. Don’t be weary in Well Doing. Galatians 6:9-10
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. We must not grow tired or discouraged in our efforts to do good, for in the right time we will reap the rewards of our perseverance if we remain steadfast and do not lose heart. Whenever we have the chance, let us strive to benefit others in every way we can, prioritizing those within our own community of believers, for they are our brothers and sisters in faith and deserve our support and kindness most of all. In due season, we will reap the rewards of our labor.
Good morning, everyone. It is a pleasure to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. As we gather on this beautiful day, let's celebrate the blessing that God is pouring into our lives, for in due season, we will surely reap the rewards of our labor if we don't fail.
Today is October 3rd, the 276th day of the year.
I am your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey.
Our scripture will be taken from Galatians 6:9-10. And it's read: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:9-10)
Today, God is reminding us of the importance of perseverance and he is urging us not to lose faith even when the journey of life is unachievable.
The Lord wants to cultivate these gifts within us. So, open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and flourish in us, in our interactions and relationships with the Lord.
Let’s Pray
Dear Everlasting Father. Our wonderful Savior, our God, and our Redeemer.
Father, we come before you today with our hearts overflowing with gratitude.
Thank you for loving us in a way that we can't even love ourselves. You hear our cry, see our tears, and understand the burdens of our hearts, even when we can’t find the right words to say.
Lord, you are the mighty creator of Heaven and Earth, the giver of life, the keeper of our souls, and the provider of our needs. So, here we are seeking your direction and thanking you for your mercies.
Lord, you love us so much that you sacrifice so much, and you've stopped giving because of the love you have for us.
Let us not grow weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
Lord, you see everything, you know everything. And you know what we are in need of. Help us to persevere through challenges and abound in the work you have set before us. Help us to do good unto everyone, especially unto them who are of the household of faith
Lord, help us not to grow weary, even when the journey feels overwhelming. For if we persevere and don’t lose faith, we will reap a bountiful reward if we stay strong and hold on to you.
Help us to stay dedicated, grow spiritually stronger, and uplift our brothers and sisters before you each and every day.
Lord, protect all of us who are within the household of faith, those who are praying, and those who are laboring for you.
You are reminding us in your words that “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
Lord, you see the struggle that everyone is going through. You know our needs, you know our desires, and you know what you have in store for us. Help us to become children of righteousness.
Let us extend kindness and support to everyone we encounter, open our hearts to remain responsive to the needs of each other, and uplift those who share our beliefs and our values.
Help us not to give up on you, not to stop praying, but to believe in the God in whom we serve, the powerful Savior, the one who has the power to extend kindness in the midst of distraction.
Lord, help us to be open to the opportunities you are placing before us. Give us the wisdom to recognize your light, to serve others selflessly, to extend grace in the face of anger, and sow peace amid conflict.
Help us to be instructors of love, to be supportive, and to be uplifted with compassion.
Father, remember those in leadership. Lord, we are praying for our president, we are praying for our prime ministers, we are praying for our governors, we are praying for our church leaders, we are praying for our officers.
Remember our doctors, remember our mayors, remember our co-workers, and remember our neighbors.
Lord, we are bringing our families before you. Lord, you see each and every one who is related to us, and you know our friends.
Lord, help us not to drift away from you, but be firm in righteousness and do things that are pleasing to you, for with every act of kindness and with every service, nothing done in love is ever wasted.
Lord, we hold fast to your promises, believing that bright days filled with hope and joy are coming our way.
Thank you for promising to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a good future.
Father, everything you have in store for us, we want it to be accomplished in our lives. Please let it come to pass, and let your will be done.
Help us to trust in your timing. Rest assured that you're working all things together for our good and for you are our glory, our honor, and our praise.
In the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Everyone, please have a wonderful day. Thank you for praying with me. We will pray again tomorrow by God's grace.
