Oct 5 – Day 278. Redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1.7-8-
“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” (Ephesians 1:7-8)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. You have redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ. To the praise and honor of the magnificent glory of His grace, which He generously bestows upon us, we find ourselves accepted as beloved members of His family. In Him, we are granted redemption through the power of His blood, a profound sacrificial act that brings us the gift of forgiveness for our sins. This divine grace is not meager or limited; rather, it abounds according to the vast riches of His mercy and love, offering us an assurance that transcends our shortcomings and invites us into a deeper relationship with Him.
Good morning, everyone. I am overflowing with joy and giving God thanks for another day. Like the songwriter that says, “I am redeemed. We were bought with a price. For Jesus has shed his whole life for us.” So I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.
Hallelujah God. Today is October 5th, the 278th day of the year. It is truly a wonderful blessing for all of us to gather on this beautiful day.
God is encouraging us to keep on praying, to keep on trusting God, and to keep on believing what God can do in our lives.
I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, and it's an honor and a privilege to serve as a First Lady and prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic. Together, we are thanking God, because God has been so good to us.
Our scripture today will be taken from Ephesians 1:7-8, and it reads: “To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He had made us acceptable in His beloved, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin, according to the riches of His grace.”
I want to encourage all of us today, through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have the magnificent gift of redemption. Let's take this moment to open our hearts fully to the life-changing power of God's love and allow his truth to take root in our minds and to guard our spirits.
So let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, our God, and our Savior. Father, we come before you with our hearts overflowing with gratitude, humility, and adoration.
Lord, you have done so much for us. And in this blessed moment, we are stepping back from our busy lives. Help us, God, to quiet our minds and fully acknowledge the vastness of your magnificent power, your bounteous love, and your infinite mercy that you're showering upon us each and every day.
Lord, thank you for inviting us into your presence. This is the moment when we can truly pray. This moment, God, that we can truly connect with you because you have changed our whole life, like the sun writer said.
And so Lord God, we are here today celebrating the goodness of God, celebrating his love, celebrating his mercy. Oh Father God, because we are where we are today because of you, we understand that it's not because of our own righteousness that we can come before you, but it's solely because of your righteousness. You are our Savior, and you are our Redeemer.
You are the depths and riches of our grace, God, for you have made us acceptable and adored. In you, God, we have redemption through your blood and the forgiveness of our sins according to the riches of your mercy.
So, Lord, help us to cherish every day. Cherish you as our Redeemer. Cherish you as our Savior. Cherish you as our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. Help us to truly discover the wonderful, holy, magnificent, and glorious redemption.
Oh God, that you are generously showering upon us. Oh God, and pouring into our lives each and every day through your precious blood.
You have reminded us, God, and I thank you for reminding us that you have made us acceptable. You made us cherishable because in you we have redemption to your blood.
Lord, in you we have the forgiveness of sin. Oh God, because of the riches of your grace, God. Father, even when we are not perfect, you never give up on us.
So help us, God, as we go through this day to reflect on the magnificent power of your grace. Even if the day is not going as planned, God, even if the day is not perfect, help us to remember your forgiveness, remember your mercy, and remember all that you have done for us.
Help us to recognize that you are surrounding us with your unconditional love. You have never give up on us because of your great love and the great things you have in store for us. You know why you create us. You know why you redeem us. You have a price and a plan for us. So Lord, we are humbling ourselves and laying down at your feet, laying your life, God, for us. You lay down your life as a ransom for many, God.
When you ultimately sacrifice yourself on the cross, you bear our sin, hallelujah, so we can be reconciled, so we can become the people you want us to become. People who will pray with us, people who serve you wholeheartedly, people who will choose you above the things of this world, people who will never give up on you, even when life is not perfect. Father God, thank you for redeeming us, God.
Thank you for wiping away our sins.
Thank you, Lord God, for opening wide the door of your immeasurable riches, of your grace and your mercy. Thank you for transforming our lives into ways we could never have thought possible, could never comprehend. because of all the things you have in store for us.
Lord, you have removed our transgressions as far as the East is from the West, so we can live each day with a deep awareness of your incredible gift. Please forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to walk in humility. Help us, God, to repent of all that we have done that was not pleasing to you. Help us to always remember your priceless gift, the price you paid for our spiritual freedom, for our spiritual growth. Oh God, for resurrection. Hallelujah, God. For redemption. Lord God, thank you.
We have been redeemed by you, Lord.
Lord, we are praying today and asking you to please purify our hearts. Please renew our minds.
Please transform our lives so that we can walk in holiness. Help us, God, to become the vessel of love, the vessel of mercy and truth in every season. Everywhere we attend, God help us depend on you and pray.
And God in everyone we meet, help us to act as children of God and showcase your mercy to everyone. Strengthen our faith to stand firm against temptation. Help us to endure trials with steadfast hope and rejoice always in your promises.
Lord, we are praying that you'll deepen our connection with you and draw us closer daily to a more intimate relationship with you in your Holy Spirit. Help us to always celebrate your magnificent grace so we can deepen our understanding of your love and Lord, live in a manner that reflects your goodness, your compassion, and your holiness to all those around us. Lord, we are praying and asking you to please God, please remove every distraction that can prevent us from pursuing your desire for our lives. Help us to never take your presence for granted, but approach you daily with deep reverence, heartfelt thanksgiving, and honor in all that we do, say, and desire. Let our life, God, shine bright, hallelujah, as a testament of your goodness. Help us to draw others towards your light through our words and actions.
Father, we thank you for your faithfulness. We solely surrender ourselves fully to you today. Lord, we are committing our thoughts, plans, and desires into your sovereign hand. May your will be done in our lives, God, as it is in heaven, and bring glory to your holy name. Lord, we thank you for this day, and we thank you for this moment to pray. We offer all of this with our heartfelt, overflowing in gratitude and reverence.
We offer it in your holy mattress and powerful name. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I feel good in this prayer.
Thank you, Lord.
