Oct9 – Day 282. Christ is our Peace. Ephesians 2:14
“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” (Ephesians 2:14)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. God has torn down the walls of separation and giving us peace, for He is our source of peace, who has united both groups into one, dismantling the barriers that once separated us. Through His sacrifice, the divisions that created conflict and hostility have been eradicated, allowing for a new sense of community and understanding to flourish among us.
.
Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is October 9th, the 282 day of the year, and we are truly blessed to gather once again in the presence of the Lord. Today is another moment when we can pray and fully surrender to God.
I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, NJ.
Our scripture will be taken from Ephesians 2:14, and it reads: "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us."
Oh hallelujah, hallelujah, and hallelujah. Let's give God thanks.
Today, God wants us to celebrate the special moment where we can enter into a secret closet with him, where we can close the door, and where we can draw closer to him during our conversation and our prayer.
As we pray, let's think about the walls in our lives, some of which may be the barriers of misunderstanding, prejudgment, and hurt, and pray with joy, for the Lord is dismantling the barriers that are dividing us and inviting us into a unified relationship with him.
The Lord wants to transform our prayers into more than mere words. Let Lord become a heartfelt devotion, a faithful outpouring of what we are truly going through and what we would like. For God is our Father, he wants to do for us more than we can do for ourselves as we go through this day.
Let the Lord tear down these walls and let him create a space for peace and reconciliation in our lives.
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father. Our wonderful Savior, our Lord, our God, and our Peaceful Worker,
Lord, we grateful and humble hearts, we come before you, cherishing the precious and transformative moment, the gift of prayer that you are pouring into our lives.
Lord, please open our hearts and allow us to communicate with you in a way that will bring joy and gladness to your heart and draw us closer to your divine spirit.
Lord, today, we are interceding for everyone. We are praying alongside all those who are praying, and we are praying for those who are listening to this prayer podcast.
Remember our loved ones, remember everyone who is seeking an outpouring of your blessings, and we are praying that you shower us with blessings in every area of our lives.
Please send your anointing power upon each and every one of us, an anointing that elevates us beyond our limitations and our limited expectations and fills our lives with abundance, overflowing our cups more than we have room enough to receive.
Lord, today, give us the vision to see the endless possibilities that lie ahead of us. Help us to under your unwavering guidance and help us to know that you are our God who can do everything if we fully surrender to you.
Lord, renew our minds and give us the courage to stand strong. Help us open our eyes to the marvelous wonders you are performing in our lives and to see in the things you are doing for us. Help us, Lord God, and instill in us the faith to follow your guidance wherever you are leading us.
Your word is reminding us that you are our peacemaker. "You are our peace, you have created us and torn down the walls that once divided us."
Today, Lord, we are clinging to this promise with grateful hearts and surrendering to you.
Lord, we are expressing our deep gratitude for the peace you are bestowing upon us. Thank you for dismantling the barriers in our lives that have separated us. Thank you for healing the divisions that have caused us pain.
Father, draw us ever closer to you, and let every prayer we offer reach your heavenly throne.
Lord God, where there is an aroma, give us hope and faith to dwell in your presence.
You hold the power to bring us endurance and peace during grief, and give us prosperity.
Lord, help us to seek your grace and to break through the walls of doubt, the walls of fear, and the wall of separation that often blind us from your constant presence.
Help us, Lord God, to dismantle these barriers and partner with you in prayer each and every day.
Help us to focus on clarity instead of confusion, help us to focus on strength instead of weakness, and help us to focus on love instead of brokenness.
Let us overcome every barrier as we willfully draw nearer to you and embrace the fullness of the relationship that we have with you.
Lord, today, we are praying for peace. Peace to be a unifying force within our church, peace in our families, and peace in our community. Through your divine strength, unite us in harmony and enable us to build harmonious and nurturing relationships that reflect your love for each other.
Lord, you see all who are suffering and you see distress. Please heal every wound, restore hope to the lost, and re-establish the connection that we need to have with you, to those who feel divided and distant from you.
Lord, we thank you for always hearing our prayers, we thank you for your unwavering support in our times of need, and as we conclude this prayer, God, we pray that you uplift each and every one of us. Renew our strength and inspire us to fulfill the purpose you have placed within each and every one of our lives and help us to become the people of God you have destined for us to become.
In the mighty, powerful, and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.
Today, I want to encourage everyone and express deep gratitude to each of you for joining us in prayer today. Please have a wonderful day, and by God's grace, we will pray together again tomorrow.
