Good morning, everyone, and welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast! Today is October 10th, the 283rd day of the year—an excellent opportunity for us to come together in prayer.

I’m Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, NJ. It is a privilege to pray and connect with each of you as we deepen our relationship with God through prayer and reflection.

Our scripture today comes from the book of Ephesians, chapter 3: 11-12. And it read:

“The eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.”

Saints, let’s hold on to the truth about our access to God through Christ. This scripture not only highlights God's eternal purpose but also encourages us to embrace the boldness and confidence we can have in our prayer with him.

Let’s start this day with a positive heart, filled with hope and assurance.

 Let us pray.

 Dear Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge that prayer is a gift, a blessed opportunity to connect with you, and we thank you sincerely for the precious gift of salvation. It is through this transformative experience that our lives are renewed, allowing us to cultivate a deeper, more intimate relationship with you.

Father, thank you for reminding us of the eternal purpose which you have accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in Him.

We are praying with joy and thanking you for your comfort and peace, which fills our hearts with strength, for we are always welcomed into your presence.

With your sacrifices, we can be free from fear or judgment. Lord, your arms are always open wide, ready to embrace us, despite our past mistakes and shortcomings.

Father, thank you for reminding us that we are never too far gone to return to you.

Lord, without you, we are floating and will be lost in the world. Please cover us under your blood and help us to seek your guidance in every aspect of our lives.

Help our thoughts, actions, emotions, physical health, relationships, the dreams we hold dear, and the futures we envision. Be filled with your plans and help us to live a life that reflects your glory in all that we say and do.

Lord, cleanse our hearts and minds, purify our purposes, and remove anything within us that does not bring you joy. We ask for your forgiveness for the times we have doubted you and done things that were not right. Help us not to ignored your gentle voice, or strayed from the path you’ve laid out for us. We want to grow stronger with you. Draw us back into alignment with your divine will, and help us to live a life that is perfect and good and pleasing to you.

Father, let Your word be our daily bread, nourish our souls, and shape our thoughts, attitudes, and decisions. Teach us to trust you wholeheartedly, not relying solely on our understanding but acknowledging you in every area of our lives.

Lord, where there’s fear, replace it with faith. Where anxiety looms, fill us with peace. In our moments of weakness, let your strength shine brightly, becoming our leading force.

Lord, help us to love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, that in everything we do, we will honor your holy name.

Teach us to refuse things that are not right and to strive for the best you have for us. When challenges arise, instill in us the courage to stand firm and remind us that you will walk beside us and nothing is impossible for you.

Strengthen us to persevere through our trials, knowing that these experiences produce endurance, will shape our character, and cultivate a hope that will never disappoint.

Father, help us to hold onto the blessings you are pouring out in our lives. With this hope, motivate us to share the gospel boldly with those around us. So, our lives can shine brightly with your love and draw others to your light.

Grant us opportunities to speak life into many souls, to encourage the weary, to pray fervently for the brokenhearted, and to guide the lost back to you.

Lord, let your joy overflow from within us, breaking the chains of oppression and darkness wherever we go. Teach us to listen intently for Your voice and to follow Your guidance without hesitation, trusting that Your plans are greater than we can fathom.

Father, You alone are God, exalted above all powers and principalities, sovereign and in glory. We surrender our lives, our dreams, our families, and our futures to you.

In your arms, we are safe and sound. We are eternally grateful for your goodness and mercy that follow us each day and for the glorious promise of eternal life.

Lord, we seal this prayer with faith and unwavering expectation, trusting that you hear us, love us, and will move powerfully in our lives. We praise you now for the unseen victories, for the doors you are opening, for the healing you are bringing our way, for the wisdom you are pouring upon us, and for the breakthroughs that are coming our way.

In your precious, mighty, and matchless name. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.

Thank you for joining us in this prayer today. Please have a wonderful day, and we look forward to praying together again tomorrow by God's grace.
