Oct 23 - Day 296. Pray For Deliverance. Philippians 1.19

“I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:19)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayers are powerful. Trust in God's timing. Through prayers, God will send deliverance. We should have a profound confidence that this situation will ultimately lead to our salvation, thanks in large part to our prayers and the abundant support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Our intercession provides us with strength and hope, reminding us of the divine assistance that is always available. Together, our collective faith will empower us to persevere through challenges, knowing that a greater purpose awaits. It assures us that no matter what the circumstances we are facing, the Spirit of Jesus Christ is with us, providing the strength we need to navigate challenges.

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today is October 23rd, the 296th day of the year, and I’m grateful to share another moment with you.

I’m Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, NJ. It’s a true honor to gather and fellowship with you during our prayer.

Today, we will focus on Philippians 1:19, and it reads: “For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” 

This scripture is reminding us of the incredible impact that our prayers have, not only on our lives but also on the lives of those around us. 

Let’s remember that prayer is not just an act; it’s a link that connects us to God. 

I urge you, don’t stop praying. Keep your faith alive. The God who initiated a good work in us, the one who has brought us this far, will surely see us through. Together, let’s lift our voices in prayer, voicing our hopes and struggles to Him, and believing that he has the power to transform our lives.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior. We come before you today filled with gratitude, recognizing that prayer will draw us closer to you.

Lord, someday our hearts will be heavy. But you know the weight that is lying heavily on our hearts. You see the battles we’re fighting, both those visible to others and those raging quietly within us. We are clinging to the promise that whatever we are enduring, no matter how burdensome, confusing, or painful, will ultimately lead to our salvation, deliverance, and breakthrough. 

Lord, thank you for assuring us that our struggles will not defeat us but will work for our good. When we can’t see the final result, we can believe in you and rest in the assurance that nothing in our lives is random, wasted, or out of your reach. We are trusting in your faithfulness, believing that the prayers we are praying today have the power to empower our Spirit, which will not let us down.

Lord, please bless everyone who is praying for us. Everyone who is reaching out to you for an intervention in our lives. Bless them abundantly. Bless our prayerful family and our outpouring friends. Pour out your anointing power in their lives. Renew their faith, refresh their hearts, and fulfill their needs. 

Holy Spirit, you are our Companion: our best friend, our Helper, Comforter, and great Supporter. Let our prayer be an effective and powerful intercession with you. You are providing everything we need. Strengthen our faith, improve our weaknesses, give us wisdom during confusion, peace during anxiety, and courage during fear. 

Lord Jesus, even when we lack the words to express our feelings, please intercede on our behalf. For your Holy Spirit is our salvation, our source of hope, and our anchor during storms. 

In times of uncertainty and struggle, keep us overflowing with your power. When doubts arise, help us remember that our salvation lies in your delivery. You are our deliverance, both on earth and in eternity. Transform our lives into opportunities for growth and remind us that you are aware of everything we are going through. You promise to save us from despair, fear, and hopelessness. 

Lord, you are at work in every situation, supporting unseen details and opening doors we cannot unlock. Your timing is perfect, and in the midst of problems, help us to worship you, despite our pain, lift our voices with praise, for you are our healer, our provider, our protector, and our best friend. 

Lord, help us to surrender to your plan, to trust you even when the future is unclear, and to rest in your love. Help us to believe with faith that every situation, and every season will ultimately lead to our salvation—not because of our strength, but because of your faithfulness, not because we know the answers, but because of your plans for our lives are perfect. Help us trust you completely, for you will work everything out for our good. We believe that our prayers, combined with the prayers of others, will bring solutions to our lives. 

Lord, unite us and give us the wisdom to survive, especially when the outcomes remain uncertain. Thank you for reminding us that you are our active Savior, actively moving, working, and redeeming our lives. Let our hearts say “yes” to you, our souls rest in you, and our spirits rejoice in the hope you are providing.

In the mighty and sovereign name of Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.
