Your unwavering commitment, shown through your acts of love and kindness, has been directed toward His name and purpose. You have not only served the saints in their time of need but continue to extend your hand and heart to them with compassion and generosity.

Good morning, everyone!  We are thanking God for another day. We want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is November 22, the 326th day of the year.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at the Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, NJ.

Today, our scripture will be taken from Hebrews 6:10, and it reads: “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward his name, you have ministered to the saints and do minister.”

Today, God is reminding us that he is not unrighteous and will never forget our labor of work and love. Let us pray and allow the Lord's will to be accomplished in our lives.

Let’s pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Wonderful and Faithful Savior. Lord, we come before you with grateful hearts. Thank you for the wonderful gift of prayer and the steadfast love, compassion, and comfort you are sending our way.

Your word is reminding us that “you are not unrighteous to forget our work and labor of love, which is shown toward your name, as we have ministered to the saints and continue to minister.”

Lord, you know and see everything we do. Your promise brings comfort to us, for you know every act of love, every sacrifice, and every quiet moment of service that others may overlook.

Father, help us serve others without seeking recognition or reward because every act of love and service, no matter how small, is always noticed and cherished by you.

Lord, sometimes our labor feels unnoticed and unappreciated. There are days when weariness sets in, when discouragement comes to our hearts, and when we wonder if what we are doing really matters.

But you are assuring us it does and encouraging us to hold on.

You are the God who sees. You are the God who remembers. You are the God who rewards in ways far greater than men ever could.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that nothing done in your name is ever wasted. Strengthen our hearts to serve you faithfully, even when the fruit is slow to reap in harvest.

Father, give us endurance to keep walking spiritually, knowing that in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

Lord, where we have grown weary, renew our strength. Fill us afresh with compassion. When our hands grow tired, strengthen us. When our hearts faint, comfort us. When our eyes grow with tears, help us to see the eternal joy set before us. Where we have felt overlooked, remind us that you, the Righteous Judge, are keeping record. Where we have grown cold, stir again the fire of compassion, that our labor of love may spring from duty and the overflowing of your Spirit within us.

God, remember everyone. Remember those who are praying and pouring their hearts out in secret: Remember all mothers who are praying unseen tears over their children.  All caregivers who are attending to the sick with patience. All minister who serves tirelessly, with not much physical gain. The friend who comforts the broken and gives generously when no one else knows.

Father, reward us openly. Refresh us with your presence. Let us know that you have not forgotten us.

Lord Jesus, you are the perfect example of a labor of love. You washed the disciples’ feet, you bore the cross, you endured shame, you poured yourself out as a servant. And through your sacrifice, life came to us all. Teach us to follow in your steps, to serve as you served, to love as you loved. Let every act of service we give to others be an act of worship unto you.

Remind us daily that even a cup of cold water given in your name shall not lose its reward.

Lord, thank you for never forgetting us. Thank you for honoring our faithfulness. Thank you for being just, merciful, and kind.

Thank you for reminding us that every seed sown in love will bring forth a harvest in due season.

Father, as we go through this day, let our lives be a continual offering poured out and pleasing in you.

We end this prayer with this assurance: that you, our Lord, are faithful. You are not unrighteous to forget our labor of love.

You are the God of compassion, who remembers, the God who rewards, the God who loves, and the God who redeems.

Lord, let our prayers be part of our ongoing relationship with you, so we can truly hear your voice when you speak to us.

Father, by your grace, for your glory, and in the power of your Spirit, let us serve and minister until the day we see you face to face. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray… Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
