Nov 25 – Day 329. Faith is the things hope for. Hebrews 11.1

Elyon Bible Church Apostolic Season 3 Episode 329

Send us a text

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Rejoice in prayer. Faith serves as the cornerstone of our hopes and aspirations. “Faith is the foundation upon which our hopes are built, serving as the tangible assurance of the promises we aspire to attain. It acts as the compelling evidence for the realities we cannot yet perceive, illuminating the unseen possibilities with conviction.”

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of our EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is November 25, the 329th day of the year—a moment to reflect on our blessings and our journey with the Lord.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at the Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, NJ. It’s always a pleasure to connect with you during our prayer and reflection.

In today’s episode, our scripture will be taken from Hebrews 11:1, which states: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The Lord is encouraging us to embrace faith as a foundation in our lives, a guiding principle that supports our hopes and aspirations, even when they seem out of reach.

We can apply it to our daily lives, nurturing our faith and strengthening our connection with the divine will of the Lord.

Let’s pray

Dear Heavenly Father, our chosen and faithful God, we come before you with grateful hearts. Thank you for this sacred moment to draw near to you. Thank you for listening, for caring, for being our comforter in every area of our lives, even when we are not aware of what you are doing.

Lord, you are the foundation of our hope. You are our provider, our sustainer, and our source of peace. You are faithful, unchanging, and trustworthy, and we rest in the assurance that your love for us never fails.

Father, your words encourage us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Help us to hold firmly to this promise.

Lord, you have a plan for each and every one of us, a plan that is good, one that is filled with hope, and one that is perfectly aligned with your wisdom.

We don’t always see the full picture of your plan for our lives, but we can trust that you do. You created us for a purpose, and you want to complete that purpose in each of our lives.

Lord, don’t let distraction separate us from your purpose. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, even when we do not see the results.

When our faith feels weak and circumstances around us seem overwhelming, teach us to walk not by sight but by faith.

Strengthen us to lean on your promises, for you are always at work for our good.

There are times when we grow weary, doubts creep in, or waiting for your timing feels difficult.

Help us surrender our worries, uncertainties, and unanswered questions into your hands, you are faithful.

Father, may our lives reflect the hope we have in you. Let our faith not only be words we speak but also actions we do daily.

Let others see in us a testimony of your goodness, even in the midst of trials.

May our persistence in prayer and our love for others shine as a witness of your spirit working within us. Lord, when we stumble or fall short, bring us back to you with mercy and grace.

Lord, even when outcomes are not immediate and when doors seem closed. Help us to trust that you are moving, preparing, and shaping us into the people you’ve called us to be.

Remind us that every delay has a purpose, every trial builds endurance, and every prayer, spoken or unspoken, is heard by you.

Father, remember the needs of everyone. Those who are struggling with sicknesses, whether in body, mind, or spirit. Send us a healing touch that will bring comfort during our time of need and faith to believe in you, even when the result is not seen.

Father, give us unity and help us to remain steadfast in our relationships with you. Relationship with our families, relationship with our friends, relationship with our neighbors, and with the body of Christ. remember families who are facing financial hardship and those who are grieving. Please provide resources, open opportunities, and remind us that you are Jehovah Jireh, our provider.

Please hold us close, wipe away our tears, and restore our hearts with your peace.

Lord, let your love, your forgiveness, and your patience flow through us, and help us to reflect the same love and mercy you are showing us each day.

Teach us to support, encourage, and uplift one another, so that we can grow stronger in our faith and service to you wholeheartedly.

Father, in closing, thank you for reminding us of the power of prayer. You are reminding us that prayer is not just a practice, but a lifeline.

Help us never underestimate the power of prayer and what it will bring into our lives.

Help us to become saints who are persistent in prayer, who intercede for others, and who remain faithful and grateful for our relationship with you.

For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Lord, we place all these into your hands, trusting in your perfect will.

Give wisdom, guidance, and strength to walk faithfully each day. And above all, we thank you for your love, for your mercy, and for your gift of everlasting hope.

It is in his holy and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
