Send us a text

“Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you and that I may find grace in your sight. And consider that this nation is your people.” And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:13-14)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Pray without ceasing. The presence of the Lord is with you. Therefore, come before him with a humble heart, seek his favor. If you have truly found grace in his sight, ask him to reveal his ways to you. Get ready to understand him more deeply and to discover how you can continue to find grace in his presence. Additionally, remember that this nation we inhabit is his beloved people. In response, God will assure you that His Presence shall accompany you, bringing with it a sense of peace and rest.

Good morning, everyone! I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is January 9, the 9th day of the year, and God is still blessing us and opening doors for us that we don’t even see opening.

Remember, I am your host. I’m Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. It gives me great joy to connect with you another day on this spiritual journey.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Exodus, and our scripture will be taken from Exodus 33:13-14, and it reads, “Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you and that I may find grace in your sight. And consider that this nation is your people.” And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Today, as we pray, let's focus on God's grace. He is reminding us that if we find grace in his sight, he will give us rest. So let us pray for spiritual and physical rest.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Wonderful Savior, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
Father, we come before you today with our hearts bowed in reverence, lifted in gratitude, and yearning for your presence.

Father, thank you for this sacred moment to pray, to be still, and to know that you are our God. We are humbled that you, the Creator of heaven and earth, welcome us into your presence, not as strangers, but as beloved children.

Lord, “now therefore, we pray, if we have found grace in your sight, show us now your way, that we may know you and that we may find grace in your sight, and consider that this nation is your people. for your presence will go with us, and you will give us rest.”

Lord, we need your presence each and every day, we need your guidance, and we need your rest.

Father, if at any moment we have strayed from your presence, if we have turned our eyes away from you, or walked in the paths of our own making, please forgive us. You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. Shine your light into the dark corners of our hearts. Show us again the direction we should take. Draw us closer to you, deeper into intimacy with you, so our lives can be anchored in your love and our hearts rest in your peace.

Lord, you know each and every one of us personally. You know the burdens of every family, the burdens of jobs, and the burdens of health issues. Some of us are weary from long seasons of trial. Some are standing at crossroads, unsure of which way to go. Some feel crushed under the weight of grief, anxiety, and fear of the unknown. Yet, in all these feelings, you are reminding us that we are not alone. For your Presence will go with us throughout all the issues of life.

Father, thank you for your hope, assurance, and faithfulness. You are reminding us that when storms rise, you are our shelter. When the night feels long, you are our light. When our hearts are restless, you are the One who is giving us peace beyond our understanding.

Lord, thank you for the gift of salvation, for your grace that covers us, and your love that never fails. Because of your sacrifice, we can come boldly before the throne of grace, praying and knowing that mercy is available, forgiveness is offered, and healing is flowing upon each and every one of us.

Lord, thank you for interceding daily on our behalf, and for being our Advocate.

Holy Spirit, we invite you to move among us, within us, and around us. Comfort the brokenhearted. Strengthen the week. Rekindle hope where it has grown dim. Teach us to listen to your voice amid the noise of this world. Lead us on paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.

Father, remember those who are poor, oppressed, or persecuted. Lord, be near to us and provide for our needs. Surround us with your protection and remind us daily that we are not alone.

So, Father, as we close this prayer, help us not to close our hearts from you. Let your presence go with us as we go through this day.

We pray all this with gratitude, humility, and faithfulness in the mighty, miraculous, and matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. God bless you. Bye-bye.
