Jan 31 – Day 31. Faithful & Blameless
“To the faithful, you show yourself faithful, to the blameless, you show yourself blameless” (2 Samuel 22:26)
Welcome to another daily prayer. To those who are steadfast in their faith, the Lord will reveal his unwavering faithfulness; to those who strive to live blamelessly, he will respond with purity and integrity. His actions reflect our devotion, demonstrating a profound connection between those who trust in him and the grace he is extending in return. So, keep on praying even if you don’t see the effect of prayer in your life.
Good morning, everyone. Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Today is January 31, the 31st day of the year, and God is still blessing us.
Remember, I am your host: Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey.
Our scripture will be taken from 2 Samuel 22:26, and it reads, “To the faithful, you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless.”
Today, we can be faithful and blameless because God wants us to trust him and believe that with him, all things are possible.
So, if we don't see the effect of prayer taking place in our lives, we shouldn't stop praying; we should keep on praying.
So, let’s pray.
Dear Heavenly Father. Our Faithful God, our Righteous Lord, and our Forgiving Redeemer,
Father, we come before you with thankful hearts. Thank you for this day. You woke us up with the desire to pray and gave us the mind and the heart to surrender fully to you. We are truly grateful for your goodness, overwhelmed by your majesty, and deeply moved by your unchanging love.
Lord, you are reminding us that in every season of our lives, your faithfulness is unshaken. “To the faithful, you will show yourself faithful, to the blameless, you will show yourself blameless.” Help us to cling to your promises. As this new day begins and the sun rises, help us to cherish this sacred moment to pray faithfully with you. We are grateful for the privilege of prayer and the reminder that the Lord who made the heavens and the earth bends down to hear our cry.
Father, you invite us into your presence, not because of our worthiness, but because of your grace and mercy. help us to be merciful to others, just as you have been merciful to us. Help us to be faithful to others, because you are faithful to us. Help us to be blameless to others, because you have been blameless to us. Help us not to give up on you, because you have never given up on us. Teach us to extend the same compassion and forgiveness to others that you so generously pour on us. Too often, we hold on to griefs, even though you are reminding us that to the merciful you show yourself merciful. Lord, help us to be slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, just as you are with us.
Father, we are praying for everyone who is listening to this podcast. You know what each and every one is going through. You know, the issues of life, the difficulties in life, the problems in life. Lord, for the weary, grant rest. For the brokenhearted, grant healing. For the lost, draw them into your embrace. For the anxious, speak peace over their souls. For the lonely, remind them that you are closer than a brother. And for the hopeless, show them that in you there is always reason to believe, reason to endure, and reason to rejoice.
Father, stay so close to us each day. Help us to be faithful to you and show ourselves faithful to everyone we meet, everyone we encounter. Help us to be blameless, and show ourselves blameless to others. Help us not to get caught up in the things of this world, nor will we lose focus on you. But help us to trust you, to love, to live a holy life, a godly life, a God-fearing life, an honoring life, a glorifying life, a life that will honor you.
Lord, our thoughts, our words, and our actions sometimes grieve your spirit. Yet in our weakness, you reveal yourself as strong. In our failures, you reveal yourself as forgiving. In our wandering, you remain steadfast and true. Your mercies are new every morning, and your grace never runs dry.
Father, we are seeking a closer relationship with you. We need to truly know you, to hear your voice, to follow your ways, and to rest in your presence. Help us to walk in purity of heart and sincerity of spirit, trusting that you reveal yourself as pure to those who are pure in heart.
Lord, give us wisdom to navigate the complexities of life, discernment when the path is unclear, and courage when fear tries to hold us back. Help us to be faithful to everyone within our family, everyone we're related to, everyone we work with, and everyone we pray with. Help us to be faithful, help us to be blameless,
Lord, let us remember that you are our steady anchor. In times of uncertainty, you are our guiding light. In moments of grief, you are our comfort. In seasons of joy, you are the one we celebrate. For there is no moment of our lives where you are absent, no circumstance beyond your reach, and no prayer that escapes your hearing.
Father, teach us to trust you when we cannot see, to praise you even in the waiting, and to follow you even when the road feels long. Strengthen our belief that you are always working all things together for our good and are called according to your purpose.
Lord, help us live today as vessels of your love. Let our words carry kindness. Let our actions reflect your compassion. Let our lives be testimonies of your faithfulness. Where there is division, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is darkness, let us shine with the light of Christ. Where there is despair, let us be bearers of hope.
Father, in closing, thank you for being faithful when we are faithless. Thank you for being steadfast when the world around us is not steadfast. Thank you for loving us with a love that never ends.
We pray all of this in the faithful and loving name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…Amen.
We give God thanks for everyone who is listening to this podcast. Fall in love with God and watch. Have a great day, and we will pray again tomorrow.
