“Love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserved the faithful, and plentifully rewarded the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.” (Psalm 31:23-24)

Welcome to another month. Keep on praying. Today is the beginning of March. Cherish and honor the Lord, all you who are His devoted followers. For the Lord watches over those who are faithful, safeguarding them with His divine protection, while those who take pride in their own deeds are richly recompensed. Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 1, marking the 60th day of the year. As we step into a new month, let us take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to God for His endless grace and mercy. He is providing us with opportunities to seek His presence daily.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. It brings me great joy to connect with each of you as we embark on this sacred moment. Let's strengthen our faith and fill our lives with prayerful purpose.

As we’ve shared in previous episodes, our prayers this year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Beginnings in Genesis and concluding in Revelation.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 31:23-24, which reads: “Love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.”

The Lord is reminded of the importance of loving him completely. His faithfulness sustains those who are steadfast in their devotion. Let us pray for Courage, so that even amidst life’s challenges, our hope in the Lord will bring us strength. Let’s reflect on how we can let our hearts be lifted in praise, recognizing the magnificence and splendor of the Lord's divine presence.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Gracious Lord, God, and Savior,

Father, we come before you with open hearts, full of gratitude, humility, and reverence. Thank you for blessing us with another month and for the gift of gathering in your presence. It is not by our own strength or goodness that we are here, but by your grace and mercy.

Lord, help us to remember who you truly are. You want us to love you, our Lord, all who are your saints: for you, Lord, preserved the faithful and plentifully rewarded the proud doer. You want us to be of good courage, and you shall strengthen our hearts, all who hope in you, our Lord.

Heavenly Father, we come before you seeking a deeper love for you, for you are our Lord and Savior. You are our protector; you are preserving the faithful and blessing those who act with purpose and integrity.

Lord, you see the areas in our lives where we are weary and burdened. Be our provider, be our healer, and be our comfort. You are the God who sees, the God who knows, and the God who cares deeply for us, your children. Teach us to love you with every part of who we are, with all our hearts, our souls, our minds, and our strength. You are the one who keeps us, who preserves us in times of weakness, who protects us in seasons of trial, and who sustains us when we feel we cannot go on.

Help us to embrace courage in our hearts so that we can stand firm in our faith. Instill in us the strength to face life's challenges and remind us that those who place their hope in you will find their hearts renewed and fortified. May we always trust in your guidance, knowing that you reward those who strive to fulfill your will.

Lord, at times our courage falters. Sometimes fear creeps in, sometimes doubt clouds our vision, and sometimes the weight of the world feels too heavy to carry. But you are reminding us that we are never alone. You want us to “Be of good courage.” You promise to strengthen our hearts if we place our hope in you.

Father, renew that hope within us today. Fill us with the courage to trust you even when we don’t see the way forward, and the faith to believe in your promises when our circumstances try to tell us otherwise.

Father, thank you for reminding us that you reward the faithful with peace that surpasses understanding, with joy that no one can take away, and with eternal hope that never fails. Help us to remain steadfast in faith, unshaken by trials, knowing that you are working all things together for our good and for your glory.

Lord, we are praying for courage for our families and loved ones. Give us the courage to stand for truth, to walk in love, and to extend grace to everyone we meet. Give us hearts that are quick to forgive, hands that are ready to serve, and voices that speak words of encouragement.

Father, as we step into this new month, may we walk closely with you. Guard our hearts from discouragement. Let your spirit guide every decision we make, every conversation we have, and every action we take.

Lord, as we go through this day, help us to be of good courage, for you are our strength. We will trust you, for you are faithful to preserve and protect us with an everlasting love that never fails.

Father, with grateful hearts, we lift this prayer to you. May our lives be pleasing in your sight. May our faith bring glory to your name. And may we be reminded daily of your unfailing love and mercy.

We ask all these things in the mighty, precious, and holy name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
