Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 3, the 62nd day of the year. Let us take a moment to give God thanks for another day and another opportunity to surrender to him.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. It brings me great joy to connect with you during our prayer.

As mentioned in previous episodes, our prayers this year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Started in Genesis and concluded in Revelation.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 32:8, which reads: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with my eye.”

The Lord will teach and preserve us. Let us pray and ask the Lord to direct us in the way we should go and give us the strength to preserve.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, our God, and our Redeemer.

Father, we come before you with hearts full of reverence and gratitude. We are praying and surrendering to you, for this moment is sacred, and we acknowledge your sovereignty, your mercy, and your unfailing love.

You are reminding us that you “will instruct thee and teach us in the way which thou shalt go: you will guide us with your eye.”

Lord, we are clinging to this promise, for your eye is always upon us, guiding us in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.

Father, you are the Creator of all things, the heavens, the earth, and every one of us. You set the stars in place and know each of us by name, and you stoop down to hear our cry for help.

Lord, teach us in the way which we should go and guide us along the path that is right and true. Grant us wisdom to discern your will, and illuminate our hearts so that we can follow the way you have laid out for us, for we cannot walk in this journey of life on our own.

Father, too often we stumble, we falter, and we grow weary. But you, O God, are our strength, our refuge, and our light. Fill us with courage to pursue holiness, to reject sin, and to live as faithful witnesses of your goodness.

Father, we acknowledge that each of us faces challenges, whether in our families, our workplaces, our health, or within our own hearts. Sometimes the burdens feel too heavy to carry. But your grace is sufficient. We surrender the worries we cannot control, the pains we cannot heal, and the questions we cannot answer. You are God who has the power to result, and we can trust that in your perfect timing and wisdom, you are working all things together for good.

Lord, please shape us into the people you envision us to be. Strip away pride, selfishness, and fear, and clothe us with humility, compassion, and faith. Teach us to see others through your eyes, with patience, with kindness, and with love that reflects you. May our words build up and never tear down. May our actions point others to you, the God who has the power to do the impossible in our lives.

Lord, give us boldness to share your word with everyone we meet. Place divine appointments in our path, and let our lives be living testimonies of your power and grace. When we speak, let it be seasoned with gentleness. When we serve, let it be with joy and sincerity. Let future generations hear of your mighty works because we were faithful in proclaiming them. We pray that our children, their children, and the children after them will know you deeply and follow you wholeheartedly.

Lord, as we close this prayer, we do so with our hearts lifted in faith.  Help us to leave this sacred moment changed, renewed, and recommitted to walking with you daily and not give up on you.

And so, with gratitude, reverence, and faith, we pray in the mighty, matchless, and saving name of our Lord Jesus Christ…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
