“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:1-3)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Bless the Lord; praise, magnify, and exalt His Holy name. “I will bless the Lord at all times, sharing my praise and gratitude for His goodness in every moment of my life. His greatness will be a song upon my lips, a constant reminder of His faithfulness. My soul will take pride in the Lord, finding joy in His presence and strength in His love. I invite the humble and the weary to join me in this celebration, to hear the testimony of His grace and find their spirits uplifted. Let us come together to magnify the Lord, lifting His name high, uniting our voices in worship and exalting His glory with a joyful heart.”

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 5, the 64th day of the year. Let us take a moment to give God thanks for another day and another opportunity to fully surrender to him.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. It brings me great joy to connect with you during our daily prayer.

As mentioned in previous episodes, our prayers this year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Started in Genesis and concluded in Revelation.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 34:1-3, which reads: “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.”

Today, as we pray, let us magnify the Lord and exalt him with our words and submission.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, Savior, and Jehovah Jireh.
Father, we come before you with our hearts full of gratitude, cherishing the sacred gift of prayer. Thank you for the privilege of entering into your holy presence, not by our own merit, but by the blood of Jesus Christ, who has made a way for us.

Lord, you are high and lifted up, holy and exalted above all the heavens and the earth. There is none like you.

Father, we are praising, glorifying, and magnifying your name today. As the psalmist declares, “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together”

Lord, we are bowing before you and reverencing, acknowledging that without you, we are nothing, but with you, all things are possible. Let these words be the song of our hearts, not only in seasons of triumph, but also in times of struggle, waiting, or loss.

Father, help us to bless you continually. In moments of joy, let us not forget that every good gift comes from you above. In moments of sorrow, remind us that you are near and help us to trust that you will order our steps and that nothing is hidden from your sight. You see everything, and you know everything.

Lord, you have the power to instill in us a spirit of humility. Teach us to lay aside fear, and self-sufficiency, and lean upon you.

Lord, you see those who are weary, burdened, and in need of your comfort. So, we are praying and thanking you for reminding us that you are our refuge and fortress, our ever-present help in time of need.

Father, strengthen the weak, heal the sick, and bring hope for the hopeless. Be the God of all comfort, who wipes away every tear, for you are the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Lord, cleanse us from all unrighteousness and renew a right spirit within us. For your mercies are new every morning, and nothing can separate us from your love.

Lord, we are praying for our families. You see each and every one of us. You know our location, and you know the desire of our hearts. Strengthen bonds of love and unity in our homes. Teach us to be patient with one another, quick to forgive, and eager to encourage. Protect our loved ones from harm, guide our steps, and draw us ever closer to you.

Father, we are also praying for the body of Christ around the world. You see everyone who is praying, fasting, and surrendering to you. Strengthen your leaders to stand firm in faith, to be bold witnesses of the gospel, and shine as lights in the world. May we walk in love, unity, and holiness, reflecting your character in everything that we do and say.

Lord, let your will be done in our lives. Shape us into vessels of honor, fit for your use. Teach us to seek your kingdom and your righteousness, trusting that all else will be added in your perfect timing.

Lord, we lift your name on high with thanksgiving, for we know you hear us. We know that you are faithful, and that you are working all things together for our good, for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.

In closing, we magnify you, we glorify you, and we surrender ourselves into your loving hands.

In the glorious, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray… Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
