“Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.” (Psalm 46:10-11)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. God will exalt you, for He is your Refuge. "Take a moment to find stillness within yourself and recognize the presence of the divine: I am God. In my greatness, I will be lifted high among the nations, and my glory will be proclaimed throughout the earth. The Lord of hosts stands alongside us as our unwavering protector; the God of Jacob is our steadfast refuge and sanctuary in times of trouble."

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 10, marking the 69th day of the year. Let us take a moment to express our gratitude to God for the gift of life and for granting us another precious opportunity to come together in prayer.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. It fills my heart with joy and gratitude to connect with each of you during our daily prayer.

As mentioned in previous episodes, our prayers this year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We started in Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation.

Today, our scripture will be taken from Psalm 46:10-11, which reads: “Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”

Today, the Lord is reminding us of the power and presence of God in our lives, urging us to find peace in his sovereignty and refuge in his unwavering support. As we pray, let us open our hearts to the peace that comes from trusting in him.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Faithful and Loving God.

Father, we come before you with grateful hearts. Thank you for the gift of this beautiful day, and the blessing to come together during our prayer and honor your holy name. Thank you for the assurance that you are with us in every event, even when we stumble, even when our hearts are heavy, even when the world around us feels uncertain, you are still with us.

Lord, you want us to “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. For you are with us” Father, help us to rest in that promise. Teach us to know that you are God, unchanging, all-powerful, ever-present. Help us to acknowledge that you are sovereign, and you hold the future and our lives in the palm of your hand.

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask for your guidance in finding stillness amid the chaos of our lives. Help us quiet our minds and hearts, so we can recognize your sovereignty and your presence. Help us to trust that you will be exalted among all nations, magnified in every corner of the earth, and that your glory will shine brightly for all to see. May we always find comfort and strength in knowing that you are in control, and may our worship reflect your greatness.

Father, sometimes our spirits grow weary. We see turmoil, confusion, and fear in the world. but you, O Lord, the same God who walked with Jacob, who parted the seas for Moses, who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, and who raised our Savior Jesus Christ from the grave. You have not changed. You are still mighty to save.

Lord, we are praying for comfort, for peace, and for strength in seasons of weakness. Wrap your loving arms around us and remind us that we are never alone.

Father, let your glory shine bright among the nations. Let your light be the unifying flame. In places torn apart by war, bring peace. Where there is hatred, sow love. Where there is despair, plant hope. May your churches around the world rise in faithfulness and humility. Help us to point others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Lord, give us the courage to proclaim your greatness. Help us to recognize your sovereignty. To feel the warmth of the sun and remember your joy. When we face trials, help us to trust that you are at work, turning all things around for good. Teach us to be a people of gratitude, who will lift their voices in prayer daily, in thanksgiving, and adoration.

Lord Jesus, in closing, thank you for reminding us that you are our Savior and Redeemer. Through your precious blood, we have forgiveness. Through your resurrection, we have eternal hope. May we never forget the depth of your love. You laid down your life so that we might live. Draw us close to you, for you are the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, as we go this day, fills us with joy. Not joy that depends on our circumstances, but joy rooted in you, joy that strengthens us, sustains us, and shines as a testimony to others. Let us be still and know that you are God. Let us walk in the confidence of your promises, lifting the name of Jesus in all we do.

In the precious and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow. Bye-bye.
