Mar 15 – Day 74. God Will Bless Us

“Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” (Psalm 67:6-7)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Keep on praying. The earth will bring forth its abundance, responding to the divine grace that surrounds us; for our God, who is intimately connected with us, will shower us with blessings. Indeed, God will bless us, and as a result, people from all corners of the earth will come to recognize His power and majesty, standing in reverence and awe before Him.

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 15, marking the 74th day of the year and God is still blessing us. Today, let us thank God for the opportunity to come together in prayer. 

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. Every day, it fills my heart with joy to connect with each of you during our daily prayer.

As mentioned in previous episodes, our prayers this year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. Started in Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 67:6-7, which reads: “Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” 

Today, let us rejoice and give God thanks. As we pray, let us remember that the earth will yield her increase and the Lord will hear our prayers and send a mighty blessing our way. 

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Almighty God and Savior. Father, we humbly bow before you with our hearts overflowing with gratitude. You are our refuge and our strength, our provider and our protector, the one who brought us this far and who promises to never leave us nor forsake us. We are lifting our voices, joining declaring your majesty, your power, and your unfailing love is endless, so we are surrendering fully to you.

Lord, you are reminding us that, “Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” 

Father, we are standing on your promise. Trusting that in your generosity and kindness, the earth will continue to yield the blessings that you are pouring upon us. We trust that you will cause increase in our lives, not only in material things, but in wisdom, patience, love, and understanding. Help us to believe that as you bless us, we will be able to carry your light to every corner of the earth, so that all can stand in admiration of who you are and be a blessing to others.

Lord, you are the giver of every good and perfect gift. You give us grace upon grace, blessings too numerous to count, and mercies that are new every morning. Father, thank you for what you are providing for us with, for you are: a God of compassion, justice, and mercy.

Lord, help us to recognize that every blessing we receive carries with it a responsibility. Equip us to be wise stewards of the resources you have entrusted to us. Teach us to handle money with integrity, to use our time wisely, and to share our talents generously. Help us not hold tightly to what we have but rather use it in ways that build up others, strengthen our communities, and bring glory to your name.

O God, strengthen our determination. Place within us holy aspirations, a longing to do good. Give us perseverance, sharpen our minds, open doors of opportunity, and equip us with the ability to serve with excellence. Give us courage to step into new ventures, to own properties and establish heritages that can benefit our families and bless our entire communities. 

Father, please lead us into financial stability, so many are struggling financially and need a breakthrough, so, we can bless others, especially those who are hurting and crying for more of you.

Lord, our journey will not always be easy. But you are reminding us that we are not alone, and that your grace is always sufficient. Strengthen our faith so that we can endure trials with patience, seeing them not as obstacles but as opportunities to grow spiritually and to deepen our trust in you.

Father, provide for our needs, comfort our hearts, and guide our steps. Help us to be sources of encouragement and support to other and point others to you.

Lord Jesus, you taught us that it is more blessed to give than to receive. So, may our lives reflect generosity. Help us to be quick to lend a helping hand and fill us with compassion for the poor. Let us not pass others by, but see others with your eyes and love them with your heart.

Holy Spirit, dwell within us richly. Give us discernment in our decisions. Shape us into people you desire us to be. And let our daily actions bring honor to your holy name.

Father, we believe that you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or imagine. We believe that you are faithful to complete the good work you have begun in us. So, we surrender ourselves to you, trusting that you will guide us, provide for us, and lead us into the fullness of life you have promised.

Lord, we close this prayer with our hearts full of faith, declaring you are our God, our Savior, our Friend, and our King. May our lives be a living testimony of your goodness. May everything we do reflect your glory. May every blessing we receive become a seed planted that grows into something greater for your kingdom.

In the mighty, precious, and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.
