Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is March 26, the 85th day of the year.

I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to each of you who are joining us today as we gather in prayer.

As mentioned in previous episodes, our prayers throughout the year will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We began our journey with the book of Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation by the end of the year, allowing God’s word to guide our prayers.

Today, we are continuing in the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 100:4-5, which reads: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.”

This scripture not only encourages us to approach God with a spirit of gratitude but also reminds us of His unwavering goodness and mercy. As we reflect on these verses, let us open our hearts to be truly thankful, celebrating the steadfast love and continuous truth that our Lord provides across generations.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Gracious Lord, Savior, and Eternal Redeemer.

Father, we come before you with our hearts overflowing with gratitude, praise, adoration, and thanksgiving. Lord, you are the Sustainer of life within us.

Thank you for encouraging us to “Enter into your gates with thanksgiving, and into your courts with praise: be thankful unto you and bless your name. For you, our Lord is good; Your mercy is everlasting; and your truth endures to all generations.”

Lord, we yearn for the day when we will behold you face to face. That glorious moment when every tear will be wiped away, when sorrow and pain will cease, and when our hearts will erupt with joy unspeakable in your presence. Until that day, keep our eyes fixed on you. Help us to live each moment with eternity, walking in faith, obedience, and love.

Father, thank you for your mercy that comforts, convicts, and guides us daily.

Lord, as we navigate this day, fill us with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind us of your sovereignty, anchor us in your promises, turn our hearts toward worship, for every good and perfect gift comes from you.

Father, we come before you with sincere hearts, praying and asking for your guidance as we enter your gates filled with heartfelt thanksgiving. May our hearts overflow with gratitude for your countless blessings, and may our voices rise in joyful praise as we step into your presence, eager to acknowledge your greatness and love. Help us to fully embrace the joy of worship as we gather in your courts, reflecting on your goodness and grace that renews us each day. Lord, our hearts long to hear voices lifted together in song, echoing praises that glorify your name. You are encouraging us to gather in our church buildings with our brothers and sisters. You want our homes to be sanctuaries of worship, our hearts to be altars of devotion, and our lives to be testimonies of your grace.

O Lord, you are truly good, embodying an unwavering kindness that envelops us all. Your mercy knows no bounds and endures through all ages, providing comfort and hope to those who are seeking you. Lord, your truth is a steadfast foundation, extending across generations and offering guidance and wisdom that remains relevant and life-changing. We are grateful for your everlasting presence in our lives.

Lord, we are praying for our leaders. Grant us wisdom, discernment, and integrity in our hearts. May every step we take, every choice we make, and every word we speak draw us closer to you and point others to the saving grace of you, Jesus Christ.

Father, teach us to love as you love. Give us patience when we are tested, humility when we are tempted to be prideful, and compassion for those who are hurting. Let our words bring encouragement and love.

Remember those who are struggling, those who are grieving, those battling sickness, those weighed down by fear. May your healing hands and your spirit whisper comfort to our souls. Help us remember that we are never abandoned, for you promised never to leave us nor forsake us.

Father, we close this prayer with gratitude. Thank you for your goodness and your mercy towards us.

In the prosperous, powerful, and precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
