Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Isaiah 25:1, and it reads: “O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”

Lord, thank you for reminding us of your faithfulness. For thou art accomplishing wondrous deeds in our lives and in the world around us. Your faithful directions, established long ago, reveal a profound truth that inspires hope and reverence. In every act of mercy and grace, your love and commitment are showcased to those who are seeking thee.

As we pray, let us open our hearts to the depths of God's presence in our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with gratitude in our hearts. Thank you for another moment to pray.

O Lord, you are reminding us that, “Thou art our God; we will exalt thee, we will praise your name; for you hast done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”

Father, we are echoing these words during our prayer today, we are exalting your holy name and praising you for the wonderful works you have done and are still doing in our lives. We thank you for the blessings we have already received and continue to receive. Lord, most of all, we thank you for the mercies you are showering upon us, those seen and those not seen.

O Lord, you are our God, the very foundation of our existence; we will lift our voices in exaltation to you, we will sing praises to your holy name. For you have performed marvelous deeds that inspire astonishment and wonder; your plans, which were established long ago, are a testament of your unwavering faithfulness and the enduring truth that guides our lives.

Lord, in a world where so much feels uncertain, where turmoil often spins around us, where trust can be broken and promises forgotten, help us to find rest in you, for you are our rock, our unshakable hope, and the one who never fades. Lord, many will fail us, and our own hearts may stumble, but you are faithful and our safe refuge and strong tower.

Father, there are times when fear overshadows our faith, when the weight of life presses heavily, and our spirits grow weary. But even then, you draw near to us. Your mercies know no bounds, and your compassion meets us anew every morning. Lord, help us to remember that we are never abandoned. Even in the darkest valleys, your rod and your staff comfort us. Teach us to lean on your promises, to believe that your plans for us are good, and to trust that your timing is perfect, even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

Lord, let your grace bring joy to our prayers; help us not only to come before you with our needs and burdens but also with songs of gratitude and praise. Lord, open our eyes to the incredible things you are doing in our lives right now. Help us to celebrate the victories, and the answered prayers we may have overlooked, the daily provision that sustains us, and the love that surrounds us in ways we may not even recognize. Lord, let our hearts overflow with thanksgiving, not because everything is perfect, but because you are with us in every season.

Father, remember everyone who is hurting today. Be our companion, our healer, and our comfort. Remind us daily of your tender embrace and your spirit. Surround them with your peace and help us to sense your hand at work through every trial.

Lord, teach us to forgive as you have forgiven us, and to love others as you have so perfectly loved us. Where there is division, bring unity. Where there is bitterness, bring tenderness. May our words build up rather than tear down, and may our actions reflect you in all we do.

Father, guide our steps according to your will. Grant us wisdom when decisions are hard, courage when challenges arise, and patience when the waiting feels long. Remind us that Your Spirit dwells within us, empowering us to live with hope, joy, and strength beyond our own.

Lord, as we close our prayer, let us not forget who you are as we go through our day. Help us to worship you, praise you continually. For you alone are worthy of all honor, all glory, and all adoration. Lord, thank you for the cross, for salvation, for grace undeserved. Thank you for calling us and for preparing an eternal home where there will be no more pain and no more sorrow, only endless joy in your presence.

Lord, we seal this prayer with faith, trusting in your goodness, resting in your promises, and rejoicing in the victory. In the glorious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
