Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Isaiah 40:28-29, and it reads: “Have you not known? Have you not heard that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainted not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint, and them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

As we gather in prayer, let us truly open our hearts to the boundless depths of God's great love. His understanding is a vast ocean, impossible for us to fully search or comprehend. The Lord is ever steadfast, does not waver or grow tired; His strength is infinite, an unending source of power. The wisdom He possesses is so overwhelmingly deep that it escapes our every effort to fully comprehend its entirety. In moments of fatigue, the Lord generously bestows strength upon the weary, empowering those who feel utterly powerless. Like a gentle breeze lifting a fallen leaf, He raises us up and renews our spirits, instilling strength when we believe we cannot persevere any longer.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, our God, and our Creator. Father, we come before you with our hearts filled with humility and a sincere sense of wonder at your greatness. You are the Almighty, the one who spoke the vast universe into existence, the very essence that holds all things together by the sheer power of your word. You stretched out the endless heavens like a majestic canopy, delicately positioned each twinkling star, and bestowed borders upon the roaring seas. Lord, we acknowledge that nothing exists outside of your will, and no force can stand against your sovereign might.

Gracious Father, we are grateful for the questions you ask us: “Have you not known? Have you not heard?” You are the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, who never grows faint or weary. Your understanding is beyond our comprehension. You, in your infinite compassion, grant power to the weary and strength to those who feel utterly depleted.

Lord, help us to cling tightly to these precious promises. In our moments of weakness, we find our strength in you. In the midst of our confusion, you offer us clarity and wisdom. When despair weighs heavily upon our hearts, you are the tender lifter of our spirits. Lord, you know the times when our hearts are troubled, and our minds race with worries, fears, and a multitude of distractions. Yet you, O God, remain our ever-present help, the Creator who does not falter, who is not weary.

Father, teach us to find our rest in you, to let go of the burdens we were never intended to carry, and to place our trust in your perfect timing and divine plan. You see the difficulties of our lives that we cannot understand, and you provide strength to those who feel like they are at the end of their rope, increasing our strength even in the darkest of times. Today, we ask that you pour out your peace upon us, that deep, abiding peace that surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts. In places of conflict, let your spirit bring reconciliation. Where there is worry, instill us with calm assurance. In moments of despair, plant the seeds of hope within us.

Father, grant us endurance. Strengthen us and help us to persevere in doing good. Remind us that in due season, if we remain steadfast in faith, we will reap the fruits of our labor. Teach us not to lean on our own understanding, but to surrender each day to your divine guidance.

We also come before you seeking wisdom. You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom and asks, you will generously provide it without reproach. Today, we pray for your wisdom to be the foundation upon which we build our lives. Direct our steps, guide our thoughts, and shape our decisions, allowing our choices to reflect your eternal truth and bring glory to your name.

Father, we lift our families into your protective hand. Please bless our families. Surround them with your protection and love. For you are the faithful Father who will never abandon us nor forsake us. Let your mercy flow through our lives like a boundless river, bringing healing and restoration to our lives. Use us as instruments of love and compassion, allowing us to extend your grace to those around us. May our lives reflect your astonishing grace and point others toward the hope that is found in you.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayer. As we conclude, we seal this prayer renewed in faith, revived in spirit, and overflowing with your peace.

We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord… Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
