Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Isaiah 50:7, and it reads: “For the Lord God will help me; therefore, shall I not be confounded: therefore, have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.”

As we gather in prayer today, let us approach this sacred moment with unwavering assurance and steadfast faith, for God stands ever ready to extend a comforting hand in our time of need. Let us wholeheartedly embrace the challenges before us, face them with determination, and trust in the unwavering support that God offers. In moments of hardship, let us draw upon the profound strength that comes from our faith, remembering that we are never alone in our struggles. With God by our side, we can confront our trials with renewed confidence and hope, knowing that each difficulty can be overcome with divine guidance and grace.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior.
Father, we come before you today with humble and contrite hearts, acknowledging your holiness, your majesty, and your unending mercy. You are the one who sustains us in every season of life. Lord, without you, we are nothing, but with you, we have everything we need.

Lord, we are earnestly seeking your forgiveness for every thought, word, and deed that has fallen short of your will. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father, there are times when our hearts wander, when doubt creeps in, when pride rises up, and when fear overwhelms us. But you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that “you, Lord, will help us; therefore, we shall not be confounded. We shall set our faces like flint, and we know that we shall not be ashamed.” Father, you promise to help us, so we are surrendering to you and seeking your guidance and support in our times of need. Help us to live in the power of your promises. Teach us to live godly, so that nothing in this world, no trial, no temptation, no storm- can cause us to fall from your will. We trust that you will help us navigate the challenges we face and provide the strength and wisdom we need to grow spiritually.

Father, help us not to be confounded by the things of this world. overwhelmed or confused by the challenges we face. Help us find clarity in our thoughts, trust in your wisdom during difficult times, and stand firm in our beliefs and decisions. Soften our hearts, where they have grown hard. Remove any spirit of rebellion or resistance that keeps us from growing closer to your will. Give a spirit of humility, tenderness, and devotion. Teach us to love as you love, to forgive as you forgive, and to serve you faithfully. Let our lives be living testimonies of your grace and mercy.

Lord, instill within us steadfast determination as durable as flint. We recognize that with this strength, we can face our challenges boldly and without shame, trusting in your guidance and support. Thank you for empowering us to stand firm in our convictions, knowing that we are never alone on this journey. Lord, we rest assured today that you are our helper, that we are never alone, and that nothing can separate us from you. So, we are praying that you would bind us together in unity and love and that your Spirit would bring revival, healing, and reconciliation.

Lord, strengthen us to hold fast to your promises. Remind us daily that your plans for us are good, and that your love endures forever. When we feel weak, be our strength. When we are weary, be our rest. When we are uncertain, be our guide. When we are broken, be our healer. Help us to glorify you not only in our words but in our actions, thoughts, and choices.

Lord, when trials come, help us to stand firm in faith, unwavering in our devotion to you. Let us know that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Remind us that your grace is sufficient, and your power is made perfect in our weakness.

Father, help us to commit ourselves to you. Take our hearts, our minds, our strength, and our souls, and use them for your glory. Teach us to live with gratitude, to walk in peace, and to serve with joy. May every moment of our lives reflect the goodness of you, our God, who loved us first and continues to love us without measure.

We pray all of this in the mighty, matchless, and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
