May 12 – Day 132. Pray –No Weapon Will Prosper

Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Isaiah 54:17, and it reads: “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Today, as we pray, let us remember the undeniable protection and assurance that God is offering to us, His people. He is reassuring us of his unwavering support and the legacy that we will inherit as believers.

No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. No matter the challenges or adversities that may come our way, they will not succeed in harming us. Furthermore, every tongue that rises in judgment against us, whether in accusations or slander, we shall have the power to condemn and counter. 

This assurance and protection are part of the heritage bestowed upon us, the servants of the Lord, who are faithful and committed to him. Our righteousness, our justified standing before God, comes from him alone, declares the Lord with unwavering certainty that we shall prosper.

Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you, our hearts reverently bowed and overflowing with gratitude. In this sacred moment, we fully surrender ourselves to your divine will, trusting that every blessing that graces our lives is a gift from your loving hands.

Father, thank you for your powerful reminder that “No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from You.” Father, we are lifting our voices in praise, for we know that no weapon forged from fear or illness, no arsenal of hatred, injustice, lies, or deceit can triumph over us, your cherished children.

Lord, you stand as our unwavering defender and protector. In the turbulence of life’s storms, you are our steadfast shield of hope, reminding us that we tread this path not in isolation but with your divine presence lighting our way. In the face of trials and tribulations, we find our fortitude in your unshakeable strength. You encourage us to stand firm, for in our moments of weakness, our faith and integrity may falter.

Lord, we are assured that every severe tongue rising in judgment shall be silenced, for your truth reigns supreme. You underscore the significance of our words and the divine justice you, o god, uphold for us, your devoted servants. You quiet the accuser, extend your grace to your people, and engage in battles that are often unseen. This assurance is not merely a promise of protection but a profound declaration of our identity and heritage as beloved children of the Lord.

Father, you gaze upon the struggles we currently face or will encounter in the future. You are intimately acquainted with the burdens that weigh heavily on our hearts and minds. Today, we are laying them all before you, casting our cares at your feet, confident in your deep caring for us. We release our worries, fears, disappointments, and the questions that linger in our hearts into your gentle, loving hands. Our righteousness is rooted in you, not in our own efforts, but through the grace and righteousness you freely bestow upon us.

Father, renew our faith. Fortify us and remind us that your mercies are new each morning, and nothing, absolutely nothing, can separate us from your boundless love. We find refuge in this assurance as we navigate through the day, knowing we are cradled in your loving embrace. Lord, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering faithfulness from generation to generation. Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice of your Son and his glorious resurrection. Help us to continuously remember that your grace is sufficient for all our needs, and your strength radiates perfectly through our weaknesses. Through you, we achieve victory, find redemption, and embrace the promise of eternal life.

Father, surround us in your love, protect us, and transform our very beings from the inside out. Speak life into every dry and barren area of our existence. Infuse peace into every storm we encounter. Instill victory in every battle we face. For those walking through trials, let them physically sense your nearness. For those surrounded in sorrow, allow them to taste the sweetness of your comfort. For the weary, breathe fresh strength into their souls. And for those laboring under the burden of injustice, remind them that you are a God of righteousness who will make all things right in your perfect timing.

Lord, we stand boldly in faith, trusting that you are organizing every moment for our good and your glory. Clothe us in your righteousness. Shelter us beneath the protective wings of your love. With confidence and unwavering conviction, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prevail, for you, O Lord, stand with us. Lord, you are protecting and keeping us safe. As we journey through this day, let us offer you glory, honor, and praise. Lift our hearts in worship and help us to surrender entirely to your will.

Father, thank you for hearing our prayer, for knowing our needs intimately, and for loving us with a love that endures forever. In the transformative, powerful, and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray…Amen.
