Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Daniel 12:3, and it reads: “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

The Lord is reminding us of the significance of wisdom and righteousness in our lives, the impact we can have on others through our actions and teachings. Those who possess wisdom will not only gain personal enlightenment but also serve as beacons of light in a world often covered in darkness. Like the stars that adorn the night sky, our impact will endure, lasting forever and ever.

Today, as we pray, let us embody wisdom in our daily lives and inspire those around us to pursue righteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we bow in reverence before your holy presence with our hearts overflowing with gratitude. You are the One who spoke light into being, who stretched out the heavens like a curtain, and who set every star in its place. How majestic is your name in all the earth! Lord, when we consider the beauty of creation, the vastness of the sky, and the complex detail of every living thing, our souls stand in astonishment of your glory.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that, “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” Lord, today we are praying for the gift of wisdom. Help us to cultivate understanding and discernment in our hearts, so that we may navigate the complexities of life with grace and clarity. Help us to reflect your brilliance, shining brightly like the stars in the heavens. May our words and actions illuminate the path for ourselves and others, guiding us towards righteousness and compassion.

Father, in a world that often feels dark and uncertain, you are the unchanging source of light and stability. Give us the insight to make choices that honor you and uplift those around us, as we strive to be beacons of hope in a world that often feels dark. Lord, you hold the plans for our lives, plans not to harm us but to give us hope and a future. Help us to lean not on our own understanding but to trust you with all our hearts, acknowledging you in all our ways so that you may direct our paths.

Lord, we are asking for wisdom, the kind of wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits. Let us not seek earthly wisdom that leads to pride and division, but heavenly wisdom that brings peace, unity, and righteousness. Grant us discernment to know Your will and courage to pray boldly, even when it is difficult.

Father, we live in a time when many are searching for meaning, security, and love. People are hungry for hope and thirsty for truth. Help to be the vessels through which your light shines into dark places. Empower us to love as you love us, to forgive as you forgive us, and to serve as you served. Let our words bring healing rather than hurt, encouragement rather than despair, and life rather than death.

Lord, raise up leaders among us, leaders in our homes, in our communities, in our workplaces, and in our churches. Leaders who are guided not by selfish ambition but by your Spirit. Teach us to rise as examples of humility and faithfulness. Help us to serve with gentleness, and to live with integrity so that others may see you, Christ in us.

Father, we bring before you the burdens of our hearts. Some of us are carrying grief; some are walking through valleys of uncertainty; some are wrestling with fear or doubt. We lay it all at your feet. Wrap your loving arms around those who are hurting, comfort those who are weary, and strengthen those who feel weak. Remind us that your grace is sufficient and that your power is made perfect in our weakness.

Lord, as we search for hidden treasures in this life, let us not be deceived by fleeting riches or worldly pursuits. Remind us that true prosperity flows from you alone. Teach us to seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added in your perfect timing. Help us store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust can destroy, and where thieves cannot break in and steal.

Lord, open our eyes to see your goodness and our hearts to receive your love. Use us as instruments of your peace and messengers of your gospel. Let our lives be living testimonies that point others toward the saving grace of you, Jesus Christ.

Father, as we continue in this journey of faith. May we not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Strengthen our hands for the work you have called us to. Guide our steps and let your word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

Lord, with grateful hearts, we surrender ourselves afresh into your loving care. May everything we do bring honor and glory to your name.

We pray all in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior…Amen.

Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
