The Vulnerable Latina Podcast
This podcast is to share the journey of a first generation Latina who has broke down barriers and stereotypes regarding mental health. Vulnerable Latina validates vulnerability and narratives. As an undocumented immigrant and creator through this podcast I hope to help others and keep having conversations that make others uncomfortable but that need to be talked about to heal. Topics such as family, work, school, relationships, and many others will be discussed along with having guests.

The Vulnerable Latina Podcast
Working in the mental health field, Episode 18
In today's episode I talk about what is it like working in the mental health field and how it can take a toll on our own mental health and make us feel exhausted. I also talk about how in my Mexican household when I say I'm tired my emotions on this is not valid because I don not do the physical work my family does. Navigating the mental health filed has taught me a lot of professional skills that will help me for the next professional role I want next. This week I get my first work bonus and this is something new to me because I used to work at warehouses and be an ABA for children with autism and these organizations did not give holiday money to their employees. I look forward to shopping for Christmas presents and prepare for the holidays as the days are going by so fast. If you want to follow the IG: @thevulnerablelatina
