In this episode of the ScreenME Podcast, Ulrike Rohn has a conversation with  journalist, academic and media entrepreneur Olli Seuri who shares what it takes to build a new kind of digital news organisation. Drawing on his experience as co-founder and editor-in-chief of Uusi Juttu in Finland, he explores why audiences are increasingly frustrated with clickbait, information overload and distant forms of journalism—and why the future may lie in human-to-human media, fewer but more relevant stories, transparency, and stronger relationships with members. The conversation also covers entrepreneurship, audience engagement, media routines and advice for the next generation of journalists.
