The Best Yachts to Sail around the World are Alloy #34

Do you want to sail around the World?  What do you think is the best material for your yacht. For me that is always going to be Alloy. I sail a Alloy 44 foot Ketch its 50 years old, I think this vessel might last another 50 years.

Recently I've been watching Peter (AKA Plucky) from Sailing into Freedom. Peter is building a new 48 foot catamaran, an Odisea 48. It looks great it also looks fast.
