Welcome to the InAllWisdom Podcast,
A Daily Podcast dedicated to wisdom for life.
I am Jim Donnelly, your host.

I have completed a commentary on
The book of Ecclesiastes, all 222 verses.
My book title is:
Ecclesiastes Amplified: A Collection of Wise Words
It is in the proofreading stage.

In the meantime, I am working on
the book of Job,
all forty-two chapters, all 1070 verses.
My book title prompts
a different approach to understanding
the book of Job:
My book title is:
Job True Story – Well Spoken Well Written:
Subtitled: A Story About a Mighty God Who Does Not Distance Himself from Human Suffering

Today’s Podcast is from Job Chapter 13:1-2

Allow me to read this first short section:

1 “Behold, my eye has seen all this,
My ear has heard and understood it.
2 “What you know I also know;
I am not inferior to you.  (Job 13:1–2, NASB).

Title: My Eye Has Seen All Things –

“All things allows no exception “All things allows no exception, no loose ends. Everything will be put to some use and matched with its proper fate. Its counterpart (lamaʿanēhû, see n. 16, 15:1, 23; 16:1) is literally “its (i.e., all things) answer.” Waltke, B. K. (2005). The Book of Proverbs, Chapters 15-31 (p. 12). Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co.
”The background setting of this statement is the same as Job 12:2-3.
Please listen to the prior podcast: “Falling Down with Eyes Open”.
This flashback to Job 12:2-3 is here for a reason.
Listen up! This is important! Job 13 begins with two prophetic events about “The oracle of the man whose eye is opened; who hears the words of God; who sees the vision of the Almighty; then prophesies.” (see Numbers 24:4-9; 15-19).
“The man” is better translated “The valiant one”. If Bruce Waltke is right, and “All things allows no exception”; then there is only one “Valiant Man” that qualifies, who has perfect knowledge.
Further, it is interesting that Balaam said, “What Yahweh speaks I will speak” (see Numbers 24:13).
I leave you wondering. That is a good thing.
We have a long way to go in the book of Job. These things need to be nailed down so that we understand them with clarity of thought, so we can continue our journey in life being enlightened from above, with open eyes and heart to Him who does not distance Himself from human suffering.

We have come to the end of today’s InAllWisdom Podcast.
