As we begin to wrap up season one of Live Loved, Amy & Julie take a deep dive into what it means to live loved. Despite what many of us have believed, a love relationship with Jesus is not about behavior. It is not about performance. It is not about trying to measure up to some impossible standard set by God or man. It's simply the laying down of your pride and self-direction, confessing your sin and opening your heart and welcoming the love and forgiveness of Jesus to heal and transform you. When our identity is securely rooted in Christ's love and acceptance, we are secure. We are filled up. Our hearts are hole. We have purpose and significance in Him. We are free to live and love from wholeness, instead of need. It is then that our redeemed influence will give life to others rather than seek life from others.
