For the last few years, in lieu of albums, Ringo Starr has been releasing EPs. To be honest, I haven't tracked a lot of the songs down because there has been a sameness and slickness to Ringo's productions since the turn of the decade of the 20s.

So I'd been hearing all this talk about how Ringo's latest EP, entitled CROOKED BOY, is a real "comeback" of sorts, or what you might call a return to form. So I decided to check it out- in real time- for anyone who wants to listen. My conclusion- the hype is not just hype and I think there is stuff on here to enjoy.
