Werewolves: Hairy, Scary and You Best Be Wary!!
Across the world, and as far back as 1,000 BCE, the legend of the notorious werewolf has been embodied in nearly every culture known to man. In folklore, a werewolf or lycanthrope is generally described as a human being who can shapeshift into a ferocious hybrid of half man, half wolf type creature complete with all the werewolfy strength and fearlessness that goes with it. We're not discussing normal beautiful wolves, we’re talking about inexplicably huge, hairy, snarly, scary, big toothed werewolves.
It may be hard to believe that a shapeshifting creature could possibly exist now or ever, but there are a bajillion stories out there from centuries ago and they were not just fun, scary, made up bedtime stories, they were SERIOUS stories of genuine fear that had grown men shaking in their boots at the thought of ever coming across such an unholy creature.
We’re gonna get into some old timey werewolf stories that are still very much believed today, as well as current stories of just a couple years ago where there is a ton of documentation about some VERY werewolfy creatures right here in the good ole USA.
