Hey my Oddy Body Babes, I have returned to the world of podcasting after a nine month hiatus to 'sit in the suck'.
I'm not going to lie, this year has been the hardest one of my life. Like Snow White taking a bite from the apple these past few months have been a toxic concoction of burn out, depression, anxiety & bad coping habits, poisoning my spirit for the most part of 2024.
Why am I sharing this with you? Transparency is one thing, and although I don't owe anyone an explanation, vulnerability is the secret sauce to working through the demons. Accepting that I am not healed, nor will I ever be, is the start to a new chapter for me.
I am still on path to returning to myself - day by day, habit by habit. But as someone who has the knowledge and resources to implement change, I want to share that journey with you all in the hopes that you too might see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how awful it gets. The process this time is supposed to be slow, and slow it shall be.
And, hey, let's stay connected on Instagram & Facebook for sneak peeks & a glimpse behind the scenes.

Welcome back to another episode of Weight, There’s More! I had the pleasure of speaking with Zoe Nicholson.
Zoe is a Melbourne-based practicing dietitian & nutritionist who believes in forming a positive relationship with food & our bodies. She's spent over 20 years in private practice, helping people change their perception about food & health, enabling them to enjoy all food types & feel more comfortable in their bodies.
In our conversation, we unpacked the concept of 'Size Inclusive Health Australia', formerly known as the Health At Every Size (HAES®) approach. Zoe is part of the HAES community and a member of HAES Australia. Her practice, Love What You Eat, uses this approach combined with life experience, common sense, food awareness, mindfulness, & psychology.
We also discussed the problematic nature of BMI (Body Mass Index) and its impact on how we view health and body size. Zoe shared insights into the Intuitive Eating framework, a revolutionary approach to health & wellness that encourages listening to your body's signals rather than adhering to diet culture.
