We know the audio quality of this Adult Forum recordings isn't up to par. Between the background hum and the occasional "echo chamber" effect, we realize it’s not the easiest listening experience for those catching up at home.

We want to ensure these insightful discussions are crystal clear, but we need a little help to get there!

How You Can Help:

We are looking for a few volunteers to join our "Sound Squad." You don't need to be a professional sound engineer—just someone with:

  • A basic comfort level with audio equipment or laptops.
  • A willingness to arrive 15 minutes early to set up mics.
  • An interest in helping us monitor levels during the session.
  • A willingness to upload audio to a memory stick when session is finished.

If you’ve got an ear for detail (or just want to make sure your favorite speakers are heard loud and clear), we’d love to have you on board. Contact chelsea@holyfamilychapelhill.org if you are interested.

(Re)telling the Story of Jonah with Dr. Brent Strawn from Sunday, February 22.  We heard from Dr. Brent Strawn, D. Moody Smith Professor of Old Testament at Duke Divinity School. Brent will orient us to the context of the Prophet Jonah, consider the book’s significance in the history of the people of Israel, and offer some reflections on how the book might challenge or shape our questions as Christian people today.
