Ep. 266 Today's Peep Visits the Strawberry Music Festival: Harmonies, Humor, and Memories from the Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley with Pat, Cousin Nic, Friend Jefe, 3 Grown Men with a Hidden Flatulence Device
Picture this: golden sunlight filtering through towering Ponderosa Pines, the sweet sounds of acoustic music floating across a meadow, and three grown men with a hidden flatulence machine ambushing unsuspecting festival-goers. Welcome to our adventure at the Strawberry Music Festival!
Nestled in the picturesque Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, this twice-yearly gathering transforms an ordinary fairground into a vibrant community of music lovers. With my cousin Nick visiting from Spokane for his first festival experience, we dive headfirst into what veterans affectionately call "The Strawberry Way" – that special blend of camaraderie, respect, and lighthearted fun that defines this beloved event.
Between spontaneous three-part harmonies of Beatles classics and wandering through food vendors offering everything from tri-tip sandwiches to organic crepes, we explore what makes this festival so special. The meadow fills with approximately 3,000 attendees lounging in low chairs, families play together without electronic devices, and live performances broadcast across the grounds via Hog Ranch Radio.
What strikes me most during our wanderings is the genuine connection happening all around us. Children play with real toys instead of staring at screens. Strangers share laughs and music recommendations. Musicians like Anna Moss captivate the crowd with songs that echo across the sun-dappled field. After 27 years of attending, I'm still discovering new magic in these meadows.
Whether you're a festival veteran or considering your first musical gathering, join us for this audio postcard from one of California's most cherished music traditions. Have you experienced the unique community of a music festival? Share your story with us and discover why some traditions are worth keeping year after year.
Are you singing the intro? Cousin Nick? What were you singing? Sing it away.
Speaker 2:That's Peeps 266.
Speaker 3:Cousin Nick singing the intro.
Speaker 1:This is what we're doing. Are you done singing with the intro song?
Speaker 2:Yes, tonight it's you, it's all about tonight.
Speaker 1:That was the end of the song.
Speaker 2:Well, no, that was the beginning of the song.
Speaker 1:Give me some more for the theme song.
Speaker 2:I need some more theme song.
Speaker 1:How about?
Speaker 2:tonight, tonight, tonight. Oh, I want you guys all to listen Tonight tonight.
Speaker 1:tonight, jeffrey, come on. What are you doing over there? Yeah? Hey man, what do you know? You're a singer Jeez, anyhow, huh.
Speaker 3:Yeah, okay, let's sing. Man, let's go.
Speaker 1:You know what? We're going to find a song to harmonize. So we're at this past peeps. 266 is a beautiful day, it's a friday and we're at the strawberry music business, which is essentially what our 27th fa, uh yeah, and I'm first.
Speaker 2:I'm breaking my seal. I'm a virgin strawberry music festival attendee there's a little, there's uh.
Speaker 1:So this is at the nevada county fairgrounds in grass valley. We're sitting outside the, the entrance to the actual what the meadow you know they have. We're going to go in there in a couple of minutes. Here I got the uh. You know the food booths are in there. They're, they're open. A meadow is out. They switched a bunch of stuff around this year fa.
Speaker 3:They have like like reserved camping and stuff like that. We're not used to that yeah, but um, yeah, we. It's usually like a first come, first serve. You know we come in here we all scramble to our our favorite camping site. But, um, this year, yeah, it's kind of crazy. You got like strings up camping, it's yeah flags and strings.
Speaker 1:I've never seen this before, but see, nick doesn't know any different yeah, I have no sentiment.
Speaker 2:This is a clean slate.
Speaker 1:This is his first time out here. And then the other thing thing too, hefe, is, if you notice, I was very confused yesterday when we first walked in. I felt like everything was backwards. For whatever reason, they took the stage here at Strawberry and they put it on the other side of the meadow, like it was on the other side of the meadow all of these years Plus. I go to the father's day bluegrass festival and I don't know if they're going to do this again, if they're going to put this, the stage on this side, where they have it during this festival, or if they're going to put it back to where it used to be. I like where it used.
Speaker 1:I like it where it was before yeah just because of the pine trees behind it and everything right?
Speaker 3:well, you know, gosh, everywhere they set the stage, you're going to see pine trees around here, which makes this venue such a great venue. Man, I just love the setting. You know, it's like a back home, like the Andy Griffith show back here, man.
Speaker 1:It's just so relaxing. It's the one thing. I can say that during the year that I get the most relaxed at this and the Bluegrass Festival man, it's just become a huge tradition. How are you liking it so far? I could say that during the year that I get the most relaxed at this and the bluegrass festival to bits.
Speaker 2:Man, it's just become a huge tradition. How?
Speaker 1:are you liking it? So far I was my cousin Nick. By the way, I passed peeps 266. My cousin Nick, drive it down from Spokane you man, what a good dude.
Speaker 2:You are hundred miles to see my best cousin.
Speaker 1:Everyone knows me that I you know that I like music and all that. I'm always talking about music. Nick, man, this guy, nick, and I he lived in salem, oregon my aunt jean and uncle ronnie and all the cousins and uh, we'd go down where we'd visit you guys. You know, back in when we were kids and uh, nick and I and and greg his brother became very close, and susan your sister, and all that. But you know we'd hang out and you know we'd spend the night. You know you're a kid, you spend the night at your buddy's house. Well, we'd spend the night with you guys because we were up visiting the family and we'd listen. After, you know, when we were teenagers, we'd listen to music together Nazareth and just all of this music that still. There's a bunch of stuff out there, nick, that still reminds me of you, man. Is there any music that reminds you of me? I'm gonna ask that. What reminds you of me? Because I got a million. I remember you with the Spaghetti-O, the red sauce around your mouth, the little KFDA.
Speaker 2:Spaghetti-O. It was right up there with the Kool-Aid ring around my mouth. That was when I drank the Kool-Aid for good reasons, yeah.
Speaker 1:Would you have any memories of that, or is it just kind of a blur?
Speaker 2:the teenage one of my favorite memories of you is playing those, those terrible games that were long since banned, called long darts. Oh my god and you know you play long darts and you know the reason why it was banned is it was not osha approved. There was a lot of injuries that happened during those days and pat was a victim of those one of those I days and Pat was a victim of one of those I was always throwing things.
Speaker 3:In our backyard.
Speaker 2:he had a dart stuck in his thigh about three inches deep. Who did Over by the cherry tree?
Speaker 1:No, no, no, when.
Speaker 2:Greg threw the dart in the backyard. No, you got that wrong, my mom's house.
Speaker 1:Who got darted? You got that wrong. No, no, no, no, no, the opposite. I threw the dart and Greg got darted.
Speaker 2:Greg got darted in the leg, not me, greg got.
Speaker 1:I threw it Because I'm always throwing things when I was a kid.
Speaker 2:I was ringside for the darting. That's what I remember.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it was ringside darting in Salem, on Ferdell no man. Yeah, I remember that very well.
Speaker 2:It was a very nice placement of the dart, I must say, on your part.
Speaker 1:So here's what we're doing. So one of the things we're doing. Hey, by the way, nick these guys you know being guys. There's certain things I get. Can you hear the music in the mat listen? Yep, I don't know if you can hear the music in the background we'll go out and visit that in a second but it's the music's starting now.
Speaker 1:Finally it's back. They took a little break. But you know, one thing guys can do, but I can't seem to do. I don't know why I suck at this. But like, if you have a beer, so we're drinking beers, I ain't going to lie, we're at the fairgrounds, we're drinking beers. You know what I'm saying. By the way, we got the. I'm going to call it the flatulence machine out there. We are so juvenile, Pat's Peeps 266. We are so juvenile. We have the. I'll call it just to clean it up. They are so juvenile, we have the. I'll call it just to clean it up. You know, some would call it a fart machine.
Speaker 2:We'll clean it up and call it a flatulence machine, but the truth is we've retreated to our roots, okay.
Speaker 1:And so we're at this point where we've got these chairs set up, we're drinking beers. Right, we've got the fart machine. Sorry, I mean the flatulence machine.
Speaker 2:And we're ambushing pass-by.
Speaker 1:Right, it's all covered up in pine needles and pine cones and people walk by and we hit the remote button. They look at each other very accusatory.
Speaker 2:I believe we've already worn out a set of batteries.
Speaker 1:And so what guys can do. This is how immature we can really be. You've got nothing better to do in your life than to sit in a couple of freaking lawn chairs with a fart machine and drinking beers. That's right, that's what we're doing because we're guys and the church is overrated, anyway, and here's what dudes doing, and I can't do it, though, but Nick and Jeff can do this. One of you Can you open my, my beer please? I got a bottle of beer.
Speaker 1:These guys use like anything with an ad I'm gonna do, and then it, and then guys fight over it. They fight over it, they're fighting over it. Listen to these two clowns. I ask like no, no, I want to open it. No, I want to open it, no, I want to open it.
Speaker 2:If they could see, they would know that an 805 IPA is being opened with a Tullamore Dew. Fifth of whiskey bottle.
Speaker 1:That's right go. Can we, can we catch the sound? Oh yeah, there you go. Yes, there you go. Hey, what I'm going to do, I'm going to walk over to the flatulence device.
Speaker 2:When I get over there, I want you guys to give them just a little bit of the sound a little bit of juice, pat.
Speaker 1:All right, hold eight, stop that. All right, here we go. I'm going to walk over here. Hold on, hold on. I'm going to give you a little taste. I'm just give it not a taste. All right, hold on a second. Here we go. All right, let her rip On.
Speaker 3:Pat's Peeps 266.
Speaker 1:Go ahead one more time. It's got a variety of sounds, it's all in jest, oh, is it? Oh, so you're saying this is not serious? Somewhat jest. So setting up the flatulence device while drinking beer in public is not.
Speaker 2:We intended to be serious at the beginning.
Speaker 1:That's not serious, Jeff. What do you have to add? Anything?
Speaker 3:I got nothing to add to this. It's just pure, just great entertainment here this year again.
Speaker 2:And clean entertainment somewhat.
Speaker 1:It really is. It really is it's great entertainment every year.
Speaker 3:The thing about strawberry, the kids love it.
Speaker 1:Oh, they do. Oh, the kids, this is a big favorite. Mom, dad, can we go with the flatulence device? How do you do that voice, jeff? Again, yes, how do you do that voice?
Speaker 2:We here in America believe in making it happen. Yes, honey.
Speaker 1:Let's go get those, yes, honey, let's go get those. Yes, dear, let's go get the flatulence device.
Speaker 3:Mom, Now Johnny, I told you about that.
Speaker 2:We only deal in real flatulence in this family.
Speaker 1:So you know, listen if you want to tune in to three completely immature guys on a Friday night and you've got nothing better to do then? Thank you.
Speaker 2:This is it, See. Fridays, the rules are thrown off and things happen normally on other nights of the week. That wouldn't happen.
Speaker 1:On Friday. Well, it happened last night. Last night was Thursday.
Speaker 2:The Eagles, you know, immortalized Fridays when they said all right, Friday night.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah.
Speaker 1:You know, by the way, nick, both of these guys you know, really know a lot about music. You know I love music, nick. He, this guy knows all the lyrics. Man, like you know the lyrics, like that's one thing. Sometimes I don't pay enough attention to the lyrics of the song. Nick's over there just rattling off all the lyrics, like what were you doing? You were doing the Little River Band yesterday and I'm like, oh, he's like you'll do a song. I'm like, jeez, I never really thought about the lyrics. Like that. You just bring it to life, man, I'm like I didn't realize that's what they were saying. You're a good singer too.
Speaker 2:The days on the road. Yeah, that's right, pat's too kind.
Speaker 1:No, no, seriously. And Jeff Hefe, she's a long-time band leader band and all that. Maybe we should don some barbershop.
Speaker 2:I think what we should do, do some harmonies Okay.
Speaker 1:I am going to impromptu because we have three people here. I'm not going to claim to be a singer, I'm going to. Okay, hit the device again. You got people coming up here, but I'm going to. I'll bring up a song and let's do three part harmonies.
Speaker 1:Really On, just like a random song, okay, and I'm going to bring it up and we're going to do this to the best of our ability. Impromptu, is that okay? All right, oh boy, yeah, okay, woo-hoo, okay, oh. You get the flatulence when I look at them. Oh my God, they're looking at us. They're laughing so hard. It's like a mother and a son laughing at us.
Speaker 2:See, they never know where the flatulence is. God, it's like it recycles the sounds and three boys as dumb as a bogger. There's four different primary sounds in the flatulence machine.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, it recycles them. But there's one particular one that's my favorite. It's very real, it's a very it's a longer. Give it a shot give him a shot oh, oh, you wait. Oh god, the whole time were you pressing it. Oh no, it went. Oh no, no, all right, there's no one coming by. Three, two, one, we, 1,. We're going to do the harmonies, alright, what do you got? 3, 2, 1.
Speaker 2:Alright, here we go. Alright, here we go. 3 more harmonies.
Speaker 1:Ooh, I need your love, babe.
Speaker 2:Yes, I know it's true.
Speaker 1:Yes, you need my love girl.
Speaker 3:Just like.
Speaker 1:I need you.
Speaker 3:Hold me, love me, hold me.
Speaker 2:Love me.
Speaker 3:Hold me. Love me.
Speaker 1:I ain't got nothing but love babe Eight days a week. Eight days a week I love you. Eight days a week, I'm not enough to show.
Speaker 2:I care, love you every day, girl.
Speaker 1:You're always on my mind One thing I can say, girl. Love you all the time. Oh, hold me, love me, hold me, love me. I hold me, love me. I ain't got nothing but love babe Eight days a week. Yeah, come on, told you Good job, dude. Little impromptu harmony man, why not? Yeah, we're still on Testing, testing what? Yes, we are still on.
Speaker 2:What do you want to do? I'm just going to run to the. Oh, yes, you know it's that structure that Tom Hanks used on Castaway as a sail actually, and I said Barstow, california, on the inside of it, and he used one of these as a sail to get off the island and it did get him past the coral reef.
Speaker 1:I had to be shipping lay and not a clue what you're talking about it was the man. So awesome. How did I get away?
Speaker 2:oh yes, he's on the island for four and a half years what does that have to do with this? One day a porta port-a-potty washes up on shore and he uses the port-a-potty as a sail.
Speaker 1:Now this freaking. All of a sudden my podcast just went right from a good song right to some ridiculous rant about a bathroom. Anybody that's seen.
Speaker 2:Castaway knows that a port-a-potty saved his life.
Speaker 1:Yes, of course, thank you for going right from a song into the pot. What's that now? Okay, let's, are you going to go do that? Yes, okay, I'm going to record you as you're in there. Whoa, okay, I can handle that.
Speaker 1:We're going to hit the fart machine. All right, ladies and gentlemen no, I'm teasing, I could not do that Anyhow. So what we're? Huh? Anyhow, I don't know where that drifted, so we're going to We'll walk in, is what I'm thinking. We'll walk in. Okay, We'll check out the food booths. We'll tell people about the food booths, sounds good. It's in the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. All right, you know all Well Twice a year.
Speaker 1:Uh-huh, well, twice a year, twice a year, yes, memorial Day and Labor Day, right, right, labor Day, I believe, yeah. So yeah, fall and spring, and it's like this whole community of people that just I don't know, it's just a whole vibe. It's kind of hard to explain, but just a really good community of people. When it was out on Evergreen Road it was very isolated, which was nice. I liked that too. Here it's not quite as isolated, but there's so many people here FA.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know, I think they said like close to 3,000 people. 3,000? That's what I think I Googled up. But yeah, 3,000? That's what I think I Googled up, but yeah, 3,000 people.
Speaker 1:This might be the most RVs and campers and things that I've seen in a long time. Everyone just gets along around here.
Speaker 3:Everyone knows what's going on and we're taking time off. It's like gosh this is. You know, haven't had a vacation in a long time, and so it's just a great place to you know. Let loose and just relax and be who you're going to be. That's exactly right.
Speaker 2:And if you lose your JBL speaker, people will turn it because it's the Strawberry Way. That's right.
Speaker 1:Yeah that's something that's exactly right. It's called the Strawberry Way, that's true. Let's take a quick jaunt, shall we? Let's take a jaunt.
Speaker 2:Where are we jauntering to?
Speaker 1:Jaunt. We can leave this stuff here. We're just going to come right back, so we're going to take a quick jaunt into the festival. Okay, right.
Speaker 2:Nice Into the festival. We're going to take a jaunt to the jaunters.
Speaker 1:So I think we'll be okay. We'll just leave this stuff here momentarily. So we're going to leave our chairs here, we're going to take a walk in so you can hear the music. So this guy needs a blast. Yeah, so it's probably I don't know 6 o'clock, 6.30 in the evening, sort of twilight. It's beautiful when it gets this time of day. I love it out here. So I'm going to walk through the gates.
Speaker 1:This is the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Some things have changed this year, where they kind of have it fenced off a little bit. Last year, over the previous years, they did not do that. By the way, this is also the site of the Father's Day Bluegrass Festival, which is another festival that I love to attend, and these are four-day festivals. You can come out for a single day, you can come out for a couple of days.
Speaker 1:Personally, I always recommend getting your tickets early so they're a little less expensive, and if you have the time, I would recommend coming out here for at least three days, but four days preferably. Depends on how much you're into it, because there's probably lesser known bands on the first night, the second night, the third night, you know, saturday night, sunday night, dan Treminski is going to be here headlining this year from Alison Krauss and Union Station man of Constant Sorrow Just a great singer and a great band. So I'm waiting for Nick and for Hefe to catch up with me. Yeah, and it's just really family friendly out here too, which is very nice. All right, guys, you're ready to go in? We?
Speaker 1:are ready, let's go in. Okay, so if you come in this way, they've got I don't know what these things are, these little buildings to the left, these cute little buildings. It's almost like Storybook or something, sort of a 1880s churches. Yeah, little churches, I don't know. Yeah, like Little House on the Prairie, lots of gingerbread. Is there lots of gingerbread?
Speaker 2:Yeah, the gingerbread architecture on that church.
Speaker 1:Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, We've got the red barns out here. It's just a very nice setting and, like I say, it's very family-friendly. Kids there's lots of things to do for kids. Oh, they've got the beer booth right here to our right, by the way, for the adults and the ATM machine is in a London-style red phone booth.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it really is cool. So you can extract your money from the ether and you can continue in your phone booth. So they have the Nacho Mama, the Nacho Mama Totally awesome. Gourmet nachos. That's a picture. Nacho Mama, road Dog Cafe, road Dog 2 Cafe totally awesome, gourmet nachos. That's a nacho mama, road dog cafe, road dog 2 cafe. So they're serving up like pulled pork, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, salmon burgers, chicken sandwich and stuff like that tri-tip. We had a great tri-tip sandwich out there yesterday. They have more uh, food court vendors out here. Here is a oh, this is a. Chocolate-dipped bananas, ooh Lord, okay. And over here we've got the pizza the egg roll people and pizza. They've got green salads, all kinds of food. Coconut curry oh, that sounds good.
Speaker 2:And lovely ladies in sun dresses and just remember folks in public. There is no expectation of privacy.
Speaker 1:Italian ice? I don't even know what that meant. California street tacos, oh hey. So the point is they have all of these great, you know food trucks you have lady.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I'm a foodie. Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 1:So what do you guys want to get? You guys want to go grab some food? What do you think? Anything look good. We had the tri-tip. Yes, it was veryos. I recommend you check it out. Oh, they got the organic crepes over here. Let's go. I'm going to walk over to the stage so you can hear some of the music. I have no idea right now who's playing. Oh, they have all kinds of shops out here too Crepes and galettes, by the way.
Speaker 2:What is it? Crepes and galettes. Oh the galettes, the little pastries you know.
Speaker 1:Sounds like something from a Seinfeld episode, so you should see the meadow out here. It is just beautiful. It's the sun, rays are beating through the trees, low angle sun coming through the trees.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's just awesome, it's gorgeous.
Speaker 3:Six o'clock yeah.
Speaker 1:And now we're coming out to the meadow. You can hear the music.
Speaker 2:Here's the guys that put up a big blocker out here in the grass that nobody could see beyond their tent, that they erected right in the middle of the show.
Speaker 1:It's quite interesting. Oh, excuse me, ladies, no glass on the grass. Oh wow, wow.
Speaker 2:We can give you a cup if you want to pour it in. He's saying no G on the G, want a cup?
Speaker 1:Yeah, that'd be great, thank you. See how nice people are here. You can't have glass out on the grassy area, so they have cups here, so you can just pour your beverage into a cup. Thank you very much, I appreciate that.
Speaker 2:All right, very good.
Speaker 1:Thank. Thank you very much. I appreciate that, all right.
Speaker 3:Very good, thank you, thank you sir so we walk into the meadow with my cup of beer.
Speaker 1:It's a very good crowd of people. Tomorrow, Saturday, it'll be much bigger, actually A lot more people on Saturdays.
Speaker 3:And then into Sunday, when Dan.
Speaker 2:Jeminski would be playing, so I'll be quiet and let you listen. It was like a form of therapy for me and it was just so cool and so I accidentally started the solo project where I was just writing songs on guitar all the time.
Speaker 3:And this is the first song that I wrote for this project on accident, and it's called slow down kamikaze her name is.
Speaker 1:What is her name? Or a moss?
Speaker 2:or something and a moss and a moss.
Speaker 1:We could barely see the first one, a double. Anna moss is the artist. Let's take a listen here. Anna moss from the meadow at Strawberry Wow, this reminds me of like 1960s kind of. You know that flute stuff. Let's walk through here. Okay, we're going to walk over to the. We're going to walk over to the tents where they sell items.
Speaker 2:Now I'm getting a Carole King vibe, yeah, kind of like a Ricky.
Speaker 1:Lee Jones. Almost it's Chucky's in Love. Chucky's in Love, yeah, that's a little Chucky's in Love, kind of like a Ricky Lee Jones. Almost it's Chucky's in Love. Chucky's in Love, yeah, that's a little Chucky's in Love kind of a sound it is. It is Got that little pause, little jazz pause. Yeah, you should see the sun coming down. It's so beautiful out here. I wish you could be here.
Speaker 2:Sun dappled Ponderosa Pines. That's good.
Speaker 1:You know, there's people out here just watching and kids over here and playing with all kinds of toys and just all these. It's so good to see kids not on their phones with all kinds of toys and just all these. It's so good to see kids not on their phones. And, jeff, I want you to describe some of the stuff that we have up here, man, because we've seen this so many times before. You know, jeff and I we went hanging out at the Strawberry Music Festival, like I said, 27 years or something like that 27 times.
Speaker 1:Twice a year.
Speaker 3:Look at all this stuff At the very beginning. Yeah, beautiful man, we got hats and gosh hats of all assortments. Really.
Speaker 1:How many times have we seen these? It's just amazing.
Speaker 2:There's a whole meadow of children playing with balancing devices in the grass.
Speaker 3:It's quite the scene.
Speaker 2:It feels very peaceful and very, you know, future oriented. I feel like we're going to be okay when you see kids playing with toys that aren't electronic devices, right you? Know it feels like maybe we're going to be okay. You know, there's hope.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and look how much fun they're having out there with each other. You know, just doing that with each other. I mean it's really, really. Yeah, I love to see that too what else they got in here, jefe?
Speaker 3:yeah, we got pottery and more hats, but it seems to be a kind of a really hattie kind of place, but uh, jeff's stepdad first turned us on to this place. Dan Foote Back in the 1900s.
Speaker 1:Back in the old days, the 1900s. Previous century. Yeah, I remember Leon Redbone, David Lindley oh my God, who else played here?
Speaker 3:He came out here to watch my brother from the 8th Avenue, stringbound. That was really why we came out here was to check out my brother, lloyd Right, lloyd Foote, that's right. That's right. My stepbrother, I should say, or my half-brother.
Speaker 1:And it just became a thing where it was so peaceful Woo, half brother and it just became a thing where it was so peaceful cousin Nick's out there playing frisbee with everyone now, all the kids and stuff. So anyhow, you know all kinds of beautiful items here we have. What is this is some craft, nice crafts. So I love this desk. Oh, my gosh, absolutely beautiful Sunrises, more sun dress, the sun dresses. Oh, I just love how a lady looks in a sundress. Love the sundress.
Speaker 2:When I hear the word sundress as reminds me of Bruce Coburn. I think about that Bruce Coburn song, which she's got a sundress and a .45 on her hip in Guatemala.
Speaker 1:Oh, really. So you know a song with him other than if I had a rocket launcher.
Speaker 2:Yes, this is another one called Dustin Diesel by Bruce Coburn.
Speaker 1:I told you.
Speaker 2:Nick knows his stuff, he's describing a woman with a sundress and a .45 on her hip in Central America.
