Welcome, my friends, to the Pat's Peeps podcast. We're at number 298. As we creep closer and closer to the 300 milestone, which I'm I mean. That's just so awesome To me it is. You know what it means. It means we're working hard, our entire team here at Pat's Peeps, happy to serve you. Hey, it's a Wednesday. Halfway through the week I'm looking, you know what? I'm looking out my studio windows into the beautiful foothills of Northern California today and today it's weed eating. Yes, come on now. Yesterday, when I last, when last we spoke, they were weed eating my yard out there. God looks so nice.
Speaker 1:Now, see, support local business. They aren't patch peeps business Well, they're not yet, but they're going to be because he did a good job. That's one of the great criteria being a Pat's Peeps business. The other criteria is how people treat you okay, that you can trust them, that they're reliable, you know that they're going to give you deals and all of that. And these gentlemen and I have their card over there. I will tell you who they are momentarily, because I forgot to bring the card with me, but they did an outstanding job. This is why you want to support local businesses. Thank you to these gentlemen.
Speaker 1:And you know what, today, on Pat's Peeps 298, there is a reminder for you here I'm going to start with. This is kind of a special episode. I'm just going to be upfront and honest with that. Today we're going to promote some Pat's Peeps and I think you'll like what you're going to hear. Number one, a reminder we're going to go to Sicily this fall from October 25th to November the 5th, and that is our Pat's Peeps group which goes with conservative tours. We have been to Italy three times now to Sicily. I've been to Ireland with the Pats Peeps group there in conservative tours. We've been to France, germany, austria. It has been just an amazing thing to be so blessed to be able to travel with this great group of people, which included, by the way as I'm just going to kind of jump in here as we celebrate local business which included my very, very good friend, dan Knapp, who is joining me right now because, ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it, there's my buddy, dan Knapp, everybody. Danny boy, how are you?
Speaker 2:Hello, hello, great Patrick, how are you doing?
Speaker 1:When's the last time you got an intro like that, where someone applauded?
Speaker 2:I could have had music for you every, every time I walk into a room, right is it.
Speaker 1:Can't you get like a big ep? Look at everyone. Dan, I do remember he's not joking and I know he he's. He's gonna think I forgot about this. By the way, dan and I have been friends since junior college, butte college and then through chico state. We went to school together, I'll bet you, but I remember this. Dan did a lot of hard work, he was a big shot and he'd go over to and correct me, uh, on any of this if I get this wrong. But you go, you go to india, right, you went to go to india a lot and he would walk into a room and people would stand like, oh my god, in reverence. Look, it's dan knapp. Did I get that wrong?
Speaker 2:no, no, yeah, that wasn't the thing that. Every time I walked in either the programmer's room or the graphic artist room or the designer's room, everyone would stop working and stand up, so we pretty much had to put a nickicks in that. Please don't do that. No need to do that. It disrupts your work.
Speaker 1:It's so funny because my man, danny Boy, here is a I mean, just a humble, humble guy, and so I thought we would take a few minutes with our businesses today, just a few minutes just to kind of share what we're trying to do here, because tomorrow morning just a reminder I'm going to be on Studio 40 live in Sacramento with Scott and with Gary. I'm looking forward to that. Finally, on TV, we're going to present what we're doing here at Pat's Peeps and then the State Fair we're going to have. I'll have the dates we actually have preliminary dates, but I'm going to make sure that they're set in stone and then tomorrow morning I will tell you where that is going to be. Oh, we have a primo location at the State Fair. I'm telling you you're not going to believe it it's the best spot you can get at the State Fair. So we're going to have a Pat's Peeps gathering out there and I'll do my radio show.
Speaker 1:For those of you who do not know, I'm the host of the Pat Wall Show, k host of the Pat Wall Show, kfpk Radio in Sacramento, 93.1 FM, 1530 AM, and the owner and proprietor of Pat's Peeps podcast. And if you go to patspeepscom, which I will be promoting on the show tomorrow, like I said, and then you click on our little Pat's Peeps mall, danny Boy, that Dan put together. We'll tell you more about that. You're going to find our businesses which give you exclusive deals. And as I'm scrolling down, going to the variety of businesses we have, we have these really cool businesses. Here's one DC Design. Dc Design when Danielle walks in the room, it's almost like the same thing with Dan, except there's a little bit more applause when Danielle walks in because and reverence Danielle Danielle Collins is joining us. Dc Design I love your logo. I love. How are you? Danielle is part of our Pats Peeps team. Both Dan and Danielle are. How are you today?
Speaker 4:I am fantastic. Thank you so much for having me day.
Speaker 1:I am fantastic. Thank you so much for having me. Absolutely so. You are a Pats Peeps business and I tell you I've never seen anyone do anything like what you do. What you do are you do these floral arrangements and you're located in Roseville, dcfloraldesigncom. Dcfloraldesigncom, you fell in love with creating these bridal flowers for your wedding. Tell us where it went from there, daniel absolutely so.
Speaker 4:Um, I remember my mom telling me that the flowers for her and dad's wedding day were were dead on arrival. So it's always been in the back of my head. And when I was looking for flowers for our wedding about four years ago now, I ran into solo wood flowers and I tested them out and fell in love. So they're a paper-like flower that I can dye any color. So, whatever I'm even doing a black wedding later on, in October, I believe so I can customize to any color. You do not have to worry about wilt or any of that jazz and, even better, they last forever. So win, win, win.
Speaker 1:A black wedding.
Speaker 4:I am doing a black wedding. Yes, sir, I don't know why. A Billy.
Speaker 1:Idol came to mind. You know, never mind, that's just my brain going crazy.
Speaker 4:I love when clients can challenge me. It's very, very fun. So they just want everything, all the flowers.
Speaker 1:Is this like a goth type of thing, or what? What is?
Speaker 4:yes, really it's very goth oh yeah very, very goth in the woods what's that? Say it again they're in the woods it'll be in the woods up in forest hill. It's going to be beautiful. Oh, very romantic, with the candles and the dark colors. It's going to be gorgeous.
Speaker 1:Very nice Wow.
Speaker 4:Yeah, so stay tuned on my website and my Instagram. Definitely will be posted.
Speaker 1:Yeah, whether it's a baby shower, right, a birthday event, yep, you know, like you said, weddings obviously you know you're not going to believe it. If you look at the webpage at patspeepscom, if you go to DC Design, you're going to see how cool these are. You're the only person, danielle, that I've ever seen do this before. It is truly impressive. You can adjust the colors. Like you said. Unlike real flowers, these things last, of course, you get the perfect color. Unlike real flowers, these things last, of course, you get the perfect, perfect color. So you and you tell us about. You've got a Pinterest board, because I think people need to look at these and see for themselves exactly what you do, because, again, they're very special.
Speaker 4:Yeah, absolutely so. I am active on social media. On Facebook, I can be found at DC design on social media. On Facebook, I can be found at DC Design, and then on Instagram it is at DC underscore design 916. And then, of course, my website, and yeah, I just update, especially Instagram, any projects that I'm working on. I update more to come and just it's very exciting, I have past brides from two years ago that are still in touch with me and I get right, I just did a wedding in Montana, actually, and it's the cousin of a bride I did two and a half years ago. So, yeah, I'm, I'm all over, I can ship. It's a fun product.
Speaker 1:That's a telltale sign of someone who does a great job is that people keep in touch with you a couple of years later, and it's also a great point that you bring this up Montana. So tell us about that, because it's. Are you saying then, danielle, that it, uh, this is not just that DC design is not just local, that you can do things remotely?
Speaker 4:Absolutely yes. So, um, uh, with this particular bride, we just communicated um via FaceTime the whole time, and then she was in town a few times, just communicated um via FaceTime the whole time, and then she was in town a few times just because of family. But we can do everything online and then I would ship. I just shipped everything out to her, easy peasy. I didn't use real greens, which I typically do, um, it just gives it obviously more of that vibrant live feeling, but we use artificial greens that I source that look beautiful and it honestly the pictures pictures. I haven't posted them online yet. I'm waiting for the photographer to give me the sneak peeks, but they're soon to come. I'm very excited. Well, yep, we ship, we do all of it, that is fantastic.
Speaker 1:that's just great because, like, if you see it online and you're in, you know montana, like you say, or wherever you are and you go, wow, I wish we had these. Well, you do have those, and if they call you, give your phone number and your website again, if you would.
Speaker 4:Yeah, of course my website is bcpluraldesigncom, and then you can find me, or you can reach me via text or call me anytime at 530-713-2240. And you can just leave me a message and I'll call you back or shoot me a text. Either one is very easy to reach.
Speaker 1:Perfect, that is DC Design. And the great thing is again, no app. You don't have to clip any coupons. We save you all that hassle, because I know it's a hassle. You don't have to clip any coupons, we save you all that hassle, because I know it's a hassle. All they do is, if they call you at 530-713-2240 or even if they go to DCFloralDesigncom, they just say hey, pat's Peeps, her John, pat's Peeps. That's all it takes, right.
Speaker 4:That's all it takes. You won't have to say any more.
Speaker 1:Behind the scenes. She does some of the calls, she does a lot of great PR, public relations for us, reaches out to many of you who are interested in being a Pats Peeps business and she's delightful, a total sweetheart and extremely professional. Speaking of total sweethearts, this guy, danny Boy, I just introduced you to. I call him Danny Boy. He's my friend, like I say forever, since junior college. We went to all through Butte College and Chico State together. Dan is a part of Pat's Peeps podcast as well, in the background, red Hot Media Productions and what Dan does, what you do and tell us more about this. Red Hot is if people because people do need websites for their businesses Danielle needed one. People need these. I needed one. You built mine. I can vouch for them how good the websites are. We'll be showing that off tomorrow morning on tv.
Speaker 2:Like I said, um, but, dan, if people want a well-maintained, um and and very reasonably priced website, red hot media productions is the place right that is correct tell us about it, man okay, so we what I did was um, when I started red hot media productions I don't know, geez 20 some years ago yeah um, I was primarily video because you know, that was my background back when we were in college. That was, you know, we were doing video and all that. So I was doing a lot of broadcast ads and things like that and I had some businesses that I was doing commercials for saying do you know anything?
Speaker 2:about websites and I said, well, yeah, after my job at Silicon Valley, we did a lot of online stuff and that was in the 90s, when it was, you know, not quite like it is today. And so, yeah, I have some background in it, but, yeah, pretty neat. And so I started kind of doing websites for them and kind of got into that side of things and as time progressed I started doing less and less video and more and more focusing on the website. And one of the things that really frustrated me with the website business if you go to any website consulting firm and you get a quote, it's going to be astronomically high. It's going to be $5,000, $6,000, $7,000, $8,000 to get a site built.
Speaker 2:And when you're sitting down with a customer to have that conversation and you start throwing those kind of numbers out, it gets very awkward and uncomfortable. Because you know I'm passionate about small businesses. I don't want to be a strain on the business, I want to help the business. So I looked at that and I looked at the other part of it was oftentimes the website company would build a site for a business and then kind of hand it off to the client and say, here you go and eventually it will get taxed because they're not keeping up to date. Or, you know, maybe they have a host on GoDaddy or Bluehost or something and they forget to update their credit card and it fails and pretty certain the site is coming. There's multiple things that can happen.
Speaker 1:Sure sure.
Speaker 2:And so I was like we're going to have something that's got reasonable price and maintenance. So I came up with a program and I call it BizSites, and I call it BizSites and that BizSites program has a setup fee of $1,749 and then a monthly maintenance fee of $99 a month, and that $99 a month includes any content updates that the client might want. So I've literally done like double the size of a website in the past over time, and it doesn't cost them anything extra, exactly. There's no hidden charges. There's none of that. It's just. It's straight up, straight straight to the point. And if you get a hold of me, you see I knocked $500 off that setup fee yep, 12.49 instead of $1749.
Speaker 1:I mean that is such a great deal. I mean, for anyone who needs to keep within a budget, that is a great deal. So again, do you want them to call you Danny? Should I give you your number? Do you want to give your number here Before you do that? Here's what I love. Here's another reason you're going to love my friend, dan, number one. I trust him so much much and he does such a great job. I would not have had anyone else do my website. Okay, but I love this.
Speaker 1:Red hot media productions great price. This is dan, great price, great service. No bs, come on, no bs. 530-222-9898 here's what I would recommend you call 530-22,. Oh, two, two, two, nine, eight, nine, eight. You get old to red hot media productions Biz sites is the name that Danny's was just talking about. Now, there's one of two ways with Dan that you could do this. You can go one way. You can go hey, is this Dan? Nap, is this Dan? And you go yeah, heard about your business on Pat's Peeps. Or here's the second way Dan is one of the only people. You have an alternative way. Just go like this hey, is this Danny Boy? You call him Danny Boy and he'll know right away that his buddy of four decades, which is hard to believe, brother is that you came from my site, from our site, pat's Peeps, so say you could say combine them.
Speaker 2:I have gotten those calls. I said Danny Boy, and I know right away. Oh, this is coming from Pat, yeah right, that's right.
Speaker 1:We know each other, we are friends and I promise you I trust no one in this business more than I do. My friend, dan Knapp, danny Boy. So again, red Hot Media Productions is his business. Biz Sites is where you want to go. You'll get $500 special offer by just mentioning what we just talked about. So I want to say thank you, dan and Danielle both of you for the offers, for all of the help that you have put in to help create the Pats Peeps community, the websites, danielle, for everyone who you reach out to with your oh-so-pleasant personality and professionalism. I thank you both for that. And we're going to get this thing done and we're going to get some great businesses and we're going to give a lot of people some great offers. And you guys will be, as soon as we announce the date, it'll be at the pats peeps gathering at the california state fair cal expo.
Speaker 2:Okay yes, sir, yeah if you will all right there you go, dan ep, danielle collins.
Speaker 1:It is pats peeps, number 298. Fantastic, yeah, I love it. I love it. I love the effort here that we're putting behind this and I love the fact that you're listening to Pat's Peeps 298. Hi, I'm here to confuse you. I'll be your host for a second. I recorded this yesterday but you know I had so many interviews to do that I ran out of time to post it. So that was yesterday, on a Wednesday. Today it's a Thursday. I might do another podcast today before I do my show. Ladies and gentlemen, your call's very important to us. Don't you hate it when you get a podcast and it's just a bunch of people talking about businesses? I hope not. Listen. I have a thing I want to do right here.
Speaker 1:If you can call me tonight on my radio show. I'm the host of the Pat Walsh. I was heard on KFBK radio in Sacramento, 93.1 fm. 15 30 am. Streaming live everywhere in your free iheart app, all the platforms.
Speaker 1:I have the most cool new shirt that I am about ready to put in my brand new merch store, which I'm about to announce All the stuff behind the scenes, how you doing. It's a Thursday. I've got a killer shirt. You're going to love this shirt. This is a XXL, so I think a guy would wear this one. I don't know, it's that really cool.
Speaker 1:Gray, like PE, like you'd wear in PE class, that awesome old school gray t-shirt. I think it's a double XL. You gotta see it. It's got a pair of handcuffs. It says make crime illegal again. That's right. It's got the American flag on the back. It says Pat's Peeps On my show tonight.
Speaker 1:If you call me at any time during my show and you mention any of the businesses that we are playing for you today and you're a guy or a gal that wears a double XL, make Crime Illegal again, isn't that awesome? Come on, that's awesome and these shirts are going to be available, but this is the first one made right off the press. I also have a Pat Peeps hat that I wore on Studio 40 Live this morning, studio 40 Live. Thanks to Gary Gelfand and Scott Moak and everyone there at Studio 40 Live, everyone for making me feel right at home and I could promote Pats Peeps, which I shall continue to do right now. My friends, oh, I love this place, love it. This is a place that I go. You'll hear, oh, listen to this. This is awesome. This is my little on hold music for you on Pats Peeps Hope you enjoy this.
Speaker 1:Pats Peeps 298. Smooth, yeah Well, you know. Most of you know that I'm always telling you. I look out my studio windows into the beautiful foothills of Northern California. It's very relaxing. But you know what, when I need to go somewhere else to relax, I can always tell you and I always tell everyone. This is I love. One of the places that I love to go to is Clarksburg. I love the Delta. One of the reasons that I love Clarksburg in particular is it is right there on the Delta and they have one of my favorite places, which now is I am so proud of. This is a Pat's Peeps business and that is Miner's Leap Winery in beautiful Clarksburg. If you've not been there, I could not recommend this any higher. My friend is Loyal Miner. He is the guy that runs the place. Loyal is joining us here on Pat's Peeps. Loyal, it's so good to talk to you, man.
Speaker 3:Pat, you're so kind, You're too kind to us, I'll tell you. But yeah, we've got a good lineup for the Summer Under the Stars this year and we also have some country music too. But thank you very much for your kind words.
Speaker 1:I remember when I first came across Miner's Leap, I said, well, look at this, there's a winery right here by the beautiful river. How nice is this? It was a lovely day, so I stopped in there and I'll never forget this. I'm like, wait a second, look, Loyal does such an incredible job of landscaping this place, and I tell you, you take pride in a loyal and I'm like, look, how nicely landscaped this is. And then he's got the rat pack. I'm listening to Dean Martin. I said, man, this place speaks to me. And so at that point I just became a regular, I became one of the wine club members at Miner's Leap. I love your place. We've done events out there, whether it's rib judging contests, whether it's me going out there and watching music on the beautiful stage that you've added since I've got to know the place. So, with that in mind, let's talk about, first of all, your wine and your wine club, miner's Leap.
Speaker 3:Yes, we do a number of different varietals at Miner's Leap and we do have a lot of very nice blends also. I kind of pride myself in taking certain varietals and putting them together and making some beautiful blends. And we've got a wine club coming up here in just the next week or two and we're going to be serving a couple of new bottles are Sab Blanc and also a really interesting wine called Race Ipsa. Now, any attorney that's around here in California will know what Race Ipsa is and it in essence is a speak for itself type of wine and there's quite a story behind it, a legal story, but I'm not going to bore you with that. But it seems to sell very well to attorneys.
Speaker 1:Yeah, if I don't know, if any. Can you, can you tell us what, what else you do for a living, or you want to kind of keep that on the on the down low?
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know what? No, that's perfectly fine. Uh, I'm also an attorney downtown and, uh, have been so for over 30 years now, from UC Davis, gotten involved in the wine business and it's just kind of taken off. I mean, it's been now Miner's Leap has been around since 2008. Before that it was Sacramento Wine Works for a couple years and has been just a labor of love with the landscaping. We took something that you would kind of shake your head at to do, something that is very nice. And when you come out and that's what we want you to do is when you come out to minor sleep we want you to relax and enjoy the rigors of the work week, just kind of let things loose. And in addition to that, we we have added a beautiful, like you just said, a stage area where you can dance and listen to, to all these bands that we have I was actually able to perform on that stage one time with kitty o'neill as a co-worker of mine at kfbk.
Speaker 1:We did some cheap trick up there. It was awesome, man. It was so fun, true. You know, if you go out to Miner's Leap a friend of mine and also a listener to my show and my Pat's Peeps podcast, nina, works out there. She's a sweetheart. I think you guys are probably going to get a good deal on a wine tasting If you go out and remember exclusive deals on Pat's Peeps. That's one of the things about being a Pat's Peeps member. If you're listening to this podcast right now, you go out there, you tell Nina or whoever happens to be, or Loyal, whomever it is hey, I heard about you on Pat's Peeps. I heard I can have a little tasting here. That's what we're trying to do. We are trying to drive you to local, giving you these exclusive deals and all you have to do. No clip and coupons, loyal, none of that stuff.
Speaker 3:You just say hey I don't worry about you on pat's peeps, exactly, you're exactly right for anybody that comes down for pat's peeps. We will certainly, uh, do a special deal for you on a tasting, either a two for one. And what I'd like you to do is you got to mention my name, loyal Miner, there you go. And we'll get you taken care of.
Speaker 1:I just want to say I have been a wine club member with Miner's Leap, I would say at least a decade.
Speaker 3:It has been. When you first came in I noticed right away I said that's Pal Balsh right there and love your show. I mean your show in the evening time is absolutely fantastic and have participated a few times and called in. But yeah, pat, you've been a big part of Minor Sleep and we appreciate that very much.
Speaker 1:And you will never see a better sunset. You know a lot of concerts because I go to a lot of concerts. Loyal Town with Loyal Minor. Minor Sleep Winery in Clarksburg. I go a lot of concerts because I go to a lot of concerts Loyal Minor Miner's Leap Winery in Clarksburg. I go to a lot of concerts. Most concerts have a backdrop. Right, a backdrop could be whatever. No need for that at Miner's Leap, because what you see is the most gorgeous backdrop you will ever see, which is this sunset. It's the most perfect backdrop ever.
Speaker 3:Well, I think you described that very nicely, Pat, and that you're absolutely right. We pride ourselves. This sunset, especially if there's a few clouds in the sky, is just absolutely amazing. I mean, it is very thought-provoking and people just love to go out there and walk in the fields a little bit and kind of check things out. So it's something I'd love to take. I'd love to say it's because of me, it's because of the man upstairs. Man, he's making these beautiful sunsets for us and we're very happy and appreciative of it.
Speaker 1:Tell us about some of the shows that you have coming up.
Speaker 3:Yeah, thanks, pat. Yeah, we do have some great shows this summer. One that's coming up in just a couple days is Inner Soul, and they have a horn section. Wonderful singers, dancers.
Speaker 1:If you have never seen Inner Soul, this weekend at Miner's Leap, july the 12th they're awesome, Loyal they really are.
Speaker 3:That's great, Pat. I didn't even know that you had seen them before, so we've got my. One of my top groups is Boston.
Speaker 5:Me too.
Speaker 3:And they're called Don't Look Back. And I'm going to tell you guys, these are the real deal. Even though it's a tribute band, you're going to love that. And that is on August 9th. Going forward, we've got the Beatles Ticket to Ride. Now everybody's got a Beatles group, but these Ticket to Ride are also the real deal and that is on September 6th. And then, probably my all-time favorite is on October 4th and it's called Midnight Flyers and it's a tribute to the Eagles, and the Eagles are by far one of my favorite groups and these guys are from the Bay Area and, in fact, one of my relatives plays for them and they are great. And that's on October 4th.
Speaker 3:And, pat, you mentioned something that we've just started two years ago and I'd like to take advantage of it, but it's not my deal. But her name is Randy and she brings in Sack Song and Wine, which is the songwriters from Nashville. If you want more information on that, you certainly can call. But we've got four more shows. We've got August 15th, september 19th and October 10th. You can certainly go to our website, minorseepcom. There's a full list of all of the concerts that we have coming up that we just talked about.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm going to go to my calendar and on August 9th, I guarantee you I will be at. Don't Look Back.
Speaker 3:We'd love to have you come out, pat, and maybe announce they're probably our best show of the year, boston. I mean. How many of us when we were growing up in the mid 70s and 80s listen to more than a feeling oh sure the music and the sound is just absolutely amazing and they're very excited to be out here and we're very excited to have loyal miner.
Speaker 3:Tell everyone where you're located uh, minor sleep is located in the delta 54250 south river road. We, literally from our tasting room, can throw a rock and hit the river.
Speaker 1:So we're at the start of the delta and we do that once we start drinking wine too we'll get out there.
Speaker 3:and absolutely, pat, I appreciate you calling us and going through this. It's great and I can't wait to see you again at one of these concerts. I really can't.
Speaker 1:Thank you for being a Pat's Peeps and thanks for saying that. Thanks for treating my listeners with such nice exclusive offers and I appreciate it very much.
Speaker 3:Not a problem, Go Pat Peeps.
Speaker 1:Go Loyal Miner. Miner's Leap Winery in Clarksburg. Thanks, Loyal.
Speaker 3:Thank you, pat, I appreciate it.
Speaker 1:Thank you for listening to this special edition of Pat's Peeps. 298. Support local business. Yeah, we got it, Pat. Thank you very much for listening. I greatly appreciate that. As we continue on, he works with my brother, don't you know that would be Dave Donsing. And as we continue along here on this special edition of the Pat's Peeps podcast, this is number 298. I'm very proud to talk to Dave Donsing, who is part of AI Lending, and AI Lending is owned and operated by my little brother, Timothy, who has been so successful. I'm so proud of him. Dave, how are you? It's a pleasure to have you on my Pat's Peeps podcast.
Speaker 5:Hey, thanks a lot, Pat. Yeah, tim and I go back probably 35 plus years in the mortgage business, so he's doing a great job with AI Lending 35 or 40 years, you guys go back.
Speaker 1:You know my brother. Like I say, he's got an excellent track record. I love about both of you is your passion for people and the fact that you know what you want to give people a break. And that's what we're all about at Pat's Peeps supporting the local businesses. But giving people something that is extra by simply saying you know what I heard about you on the Pat's Peeps podcast makes it an exclusive thing with no coupons. I'd say that all the time no coupons, no app. If you would just sort of talk about AI lending.
Speaker 5:Yeah, no, I appreciate it. Ai lending was formed by one of my other business partners, bill Massey, and your brother, tim Walsh, and we're basically a large broker, a large lender. We have some mortgage banking platforms and we have about 200 different lenders that we're approved with so we can help people with any sort of lending situation to buy a home, even some commercial stuff. What we're doing right now for all our customers that mentioned TAPS Peeps all you got to do, like you say, is mention it and we will reimburse your appraisal upon funding. So that can be $500, $600, $700 value potentially. If your loan closes, we will reimburse you that closing. So we're looking forward to helping past peeps and anyone looking for a loan to purchase or refinance, and we do HELOC so you can access equity et cetera. Anything that you need. Just give me a call and I'll walk you through it.
Speaker 1:Trust my brother. It kind of runs in the family that we care about businesses, we care about people, we care about families, as does Dave. We were just actually talking about going to a concert here together, coming up at Cal Expo, at the State Fair, where we're going to have a Pats Peeps gathering, which I'm really looking forward to. Also, one of the things I want to talk about is no one else does this, dave, for the first 100 mortgages, we're going to pull a name from a hat and someone's going to get a trip with Conservative Tours, our Pats Peeps group, which travels to Italy. We're going to Sicily this fall. We've been to Ireland and France and Austria and Germany, so that's another component to this thing that we're putting together at Pats Peeps.
Speaker 5:Yeah, Tim made a commitment to 100 folks that fund a loan through AI lending that they would be entered into a drawing and would be paid for by AI lending so that they could attend your trip. So we're looking forward to conducting that. So, as loans fund, you get entered into it and you have a pretty good chance of winning a pretty valuable trip. So we're looking forward to that. But in terms of the advantages of working with AI Lending, I've been in the lending business I hate to say it this long, but since 1989. I know.
Speaker 5:So you know, we definitely know we have a collective experience of over 100 years between the top three guys here. We know what we're doing. Things change but we learn and stay on top of it. So we just want to get our clients the best possible loans. We toughen, tailor a loan to your situation and we have the experience to navigate that tricky water sometimes just to get you approved, Even if you have less than perfect income situations. We can utilize bank statements, we can look at tax returns, W-2s, et cetera. But there's other ways to get qualified. So just all you ever got to do is give me a call and I'll walk you through it Just real quick, Dave Donsing.
Speaker 1:we're talking to Dave Donsing, who works with my brother, Tim Walsh, AI Lending. You do commercial as well. Talk about that.
Speaker 5:You know, if you have a property you're looking to buy like a five, six, seven unit property, a strip mall, things like that we can facilitate purchases like that, not just strictly residential. We also do reverse mortgages. So if you're 62 years old or over, you're eligible for a reverse mortgage, which is a great program. If you're equity rich and cash poor, it allows you to not have to make a mortgage payment, so it certainly frees up cash for a senior that might be struggling. So we do all of those types of loans, we do HELOCs.
Speaker 5:A lot of people have low interest rates from the last several years where we had two, three, 4% rates, so they're not wanting to touch those loans. But they've gained a lot of equity along the line, and so the HELOC Home Equity Line of Credit is a way to tap into that. For doing anything home improvements around the house, debt consolidation, saving money by paying off all that debt, realigning it against your property and taking certain tax advantages of doing that there's a lot of things that we can do. So if you have any kind of questions regarding that, feel free to give us a call.
Speaker 1:Dave, what is my phone number is?
Speaker 5:562-619-1159, 562-619-1159. And I'm born and raised in Sacramento. My family's been here since 1917. So we know the area and I did live in Southern California for a little while. So that's the 562 area code, but you can text that number, text me to that number or call.
Speaker 1:Very good, and you have a website as well.
Speaker 5:AILendingcom. My email address is Dave at AILendingcom.
Speaker 1:Dave Don Singh, you're a good man, longtime Sacramento and I appreciate what you're doing for our Pats Peeps family. And say hi to my brother. For me, Would you do that.
Speaker 5:I definitely will. I appreciate it very much, Pat. You have a great day. Thank you, brother.
Speaker 1:Thank you Pats Peeps shoppers. We appreciate your loyalty. That was Dave Donsing, as you heard from my brother's business, ai Lending, by the way. Again, just a reminder, I am the host of the Pat Wall Show. You are listening to Pat's Peeves, episode 298, which is one day late, and tonight on my Thursday night show, I have these killer shirts coming out.
Speaker 1:I have more than just this shirt, but I really like this one. I'm from California. You'll get this. This is a nice. This is an exquisite PE Gray. I love that color. I don't know if it's officially called PE Gray, but in my mind he's wearing those sweats like those sweatshorts or pants. Be PE Gray. Make crime illegal again. It's got a nice pair of handcuffs on the cover there. It's got an American flag on the back which is proudly saying God bless America. Well, it doesn't say that, but it's got that American flag. You get it. It says Pat's Peeps. Right there we say God bless America. Thank you for listening to my special edition, number 298.
Speaker 1:I got to thinking about this hat too. I wore this hat on Fox 40 Studio Live this morning and I'm thinking this is the first ever Pat's Peeps hat. I might have to give this away too, if you don't mind a hat that was worn for I don't know five minutes. Anyhow, if you can name on my show tonight any of the businesses that we're talking about today, I'll give the hat away to why not? Yes, it's a Thursday, hey, now, oh, you know, I was thinking about all these businesses, our little gathering. We're going to have Our little Pats Peeps gathering. It's going to be awesome At the State Fair and that'll be either July 22nd, 23rd or 24th, we don't know yet. Continuing on with Pats Peeps 298, with Olympia Hossler and continuing on our special edition. I'm having a great time introducing all of you to these local businesses that are Pat's Peeps businesses, and I'm super excited to introduce to you right now Olympia Hosler, one of our Pat's Peeps businesses, who is with Remax Crossroads in Olympia. Thank you for being part of my podcast today.
Speaker 6:I'm so excited to be here. Thank you, Pat.
Speaker 1:Oh see, this is the kind of passion that I love, and Olympia and I have got to know each other over the last I don't know year, year and a half, and now she's kind of working with my brother, tim, at AI Lending. But you guys do two very different things. Olympia, you are with Remax Crossroads and you'll find her and her website and everything, all the information, all the pertinent information, at patspeepscom, if you just go to the Pats Peeps mall. And so, olympia, tell us a little bit about your business, remax Crossroads.
Speaker 6:I am a real estate broker, so I assist buyers and sellers and investors whenever they are buying real estate, whether that be residential, single family homes, condos, their land, or maybe it's a commercial project. So they are, you know, an office or multifamily units, airbnb, short term rentals, all of those types of things.
Speaker 1:And you have a great reputation in this business, Olympia Gibbous. I mean, you've been doing this for a long time.
Speaker 6:So I have been in real estate for 24 years and I've been a broker in California all of that time. In addition, I was a real estate broker in New York and New Jersey. I had a joint venture partnership with CBS television in New York to create an entirely new real estate market for the city of New York and we produced the first real estate television show, but it was only to the New York market, so everybody else didn't see it.
Speaker 1:You're kind of working with my brother, tim, at AI Lending right now.
Speaker 6:We have already started working together. We have a great rapport and whenever anybody needs to buy real estate or refinance a loan, he and I work very closely together. Because a buyer needs to have a very experienced lender that knows all the ropes there to get the best interest rate, the best terms on their loan. And then they also need me as a real estate broker to help them find the place that they want to invest in or find the home that they want to live in, and that's a specialty in and of itself. So when we work together, the people out there in Pat's Peeps land get better served, because we have a great relationship, a teamwork, and then we're all together working for the best interest of the client.
Speaker 1:I love that. Why get a good deal when you can have the best deal with Olympia, who is just an outstanding individual too? It's been really great to get to know you, olympia, just as a person. By the way, if you go to Pat's Peeps right now and you say to Olympia, you know Olympia. I heard you on the show on Pat's Peeps, so again, those are the magic words Pat's Peeps, you're going to get a free estimate of your home's value. You get a free evaluation of how much you qualify for a loan. That's what you're going to do there. Exclusive offer from Pat's Peeps at Remax Crossroads.
Speaker 6:That's right, and we will also offer part of our commission as a re-debt back to the buyer or seller. Do what now? I know? I know we will offer part of our real estate commission back to a buyer or seller, depending on who we're representing.
Speaker 1:You call Olympia also yourself and you say I heard you on Pat's Peeps on the podcast. You sound like someone that I trust. I trust Pat, I trust his brother, I trust you, Olympia, Please go ahead and give them your number if they want to get in touch with you.
Speaker 6:Absolutely. You can reach me on my direct cell phone is 917-288-7477. 917-288-7477.
Speaker 1:I am so proud to represent you, Olympia.
Speaker 6:And I thank you. I can't wait to even elevate our experience more and help more people in the greater Sacramento area. And let's rock and roll. I'm ready to go.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I can't wait to see you at our Patch Peeps gathering at the State Fair coming up this month. Olympia Hostler, thank you, and check her out for yourself. Thank you for listening. It's Pat's Peeps 298. Thank you, my friends.
Speaker 1:You know, as I'm thinking about giving away that Pat's Peeps hat on tonight's show, if you can tell us any of the businesses that we're talking about here, I'm thinking that thing's got to be worth it. I mean it's the first one. I mean, imagine that, even more than the shirt, in terms of value, I mean you take that sucker to an antique road show in a couple years down the road. That original Pats Peeps hat, I mean that is sure to fetch upwards of. I mean I don't want to speculate, in fact I probably shouldn't, but I'm just saying all you got to do is call my show tonight. You say, hey, I heard this business on here, pat's Peeps, number 298. Hey, happy Thursday to you, my friends. Yes, ah, so relaxed and continuing Thursday to you, my friends. Yes, so relaxed and continuing on. Bets Peeps 298, special edition, as we celebrate and we support local businesses. Look who's joining us, ladies and gentlemen Melissa Moon from Moon Healing in Auburn. Melissa, how are you? It's so nice to talk to you, my friend.
Speaker 6:I'm so good I'm coming down from a really fun 4th of July weekend and just enjoying this break in the weather. It's been a great summer.
Speaker 1:This is like the best year weather-wise that I can remember in forever. The spring was great, the summer's wonderful. I want to credit you, melissa and Moon Healing. If you've not heard of Melissa, she has this beautiful office there in Auburn and I love the town of Auburn. It's very relaxed. In my experience, I went through this with Melissa. She did. I don't want to call it treatment, I'll let you call it whatever you will, but I went through this process with Melissa. It is unbelievable how it helped me. One thing that really stands out for me is to be able to open up my mind a little bit and give some space, to allow things that perhaps might be kind of negative to kind of give it space and let it kind of float through there. I don't know how to explain it. All I know is that the concept really made a huge change in my life and I want to say thank you because it helped to alleviate stress and some other things like that.
Speaker 6:Absolutely, and you know, I really appreciate hearing that feedback from you because it's about creating real life skills. Like we move through life, we have experiences, we have trials and tribulations, we have joys and exaltations, and it's like how are we riding the waves in a way that feels really good in our bodies and really good in our life? And what we do is embodiment At Moon Healing. It's about embodiment and what I call it is care, because when you walk into the studio it's like walking into home, there's a sense of relaxing and being able to just kind of like let your shoulders drop and then you know you're going to be just like welcomed, exactly as you are. You know, and sometimes some people don't get any physical contact and like that hug is the first hug of the day of the week, and so creating real human connection is such a foundational piece for what we're doing in the studio. On top of what you're saying.
Speaker 6:It's like you were able to, you know, shift your perception of how you were seeing things in life and then how you get to choose either if you're going to respond or react to situations, relationships, um, you know, day to day chores, routines, and it's like, hey, can I see this in a different way and we do that with body based techniques that address the stress and tension patterns. Like our body holds a stress and tension pattern and it's like, okay, is that working for me what we're doing with this work? It's called ELAN. Elan stands for Extraordinary Living Through Advanced Neurology. It's about rewiring the nervous system for more ease, for more flow, for more freedom. So then when our structure starts to change, the way we see life starts to change. So what you shared is exactly what we're doing. And you know it's like how great would life be if, in six weeks, you dropped I don't know stress by 20%. And that's what we see on average with practice members. It's like about a 20% drop and that's life-changing.
Speaker 1:It is so life-changing talking with Melissa Moon from Moon Studio, moon Healing in Auburn, and you know, sometimes we let life get to us. You know where you're rolling along. Things can be stressful. Something pops up, you know like and it kind of in my estimation, it's kind of how you react to a situation and sometimes when you're reacting to the situation, it's not helping, because you know if you get angry or you know you're really stressing about it, sometimes you can't help the stress. But if you're also getting angry and you're reacting to it that way, you're not doing yourself, you're actually doing yourself a disservice because that can cause a lot of stressful things in your life and in your health. And then when I'm done I go why did I do that? It didn't help.
Speaker 6:Yeah, and I think what you're speaking to is the fact that we have life experiences and sometimes and most times, as humans we're really good at loading that information.
Speaker 6:So most of us are really good at just stuffing the stress down. And when we stuff things for long enough, at some point we just run out of room. And then, when we run out of room, everything is hard, our bodies hurt, our life hurts and it just isn't the effective way to live life and it's like dang can something give. And so when we're teaching the body that, yes, something can give and we can teach the system to move through these energetics, this information, this, whatever you want to call it life's experiences, for a general sense of flow, like wow, that came into my world. It doesn't have to live in my body. I can learn, grow and evolve from it and also be a better human, because I'm not only taking care of myself, but I'm taking care of the situation or those around me with just more love and compassion. And when we do that, we create a ripple effect of wellness, not only internally but in our community.
Speaker 1:I love that. It is good for the heart, the mind, the soul. At least I can tell you that it was for me. I can attest to that. I feel very relaxed here and you have these rooms where people can lay down in the room if they want to kind of de-stress, or whatever you want to call that. Tell us about these little rooms that you have too.
Speaker 6:Oh man, these are a practice member favorite. So if you're in care with me, you are a practice member favorite. So if you're in care with me, you are a practice member. And so my practice members love the cocoon rooms. So it's an old house, built, you know, in the early 1900s, and so it has these dormer spaces with these beautiful natural wood rooms and it's just like you go into them and it's just you're being held as like in a cocoon and I have red light in there to support cellular health and nervous system relaxation and regulation. And then also these bio mats with amethyst crystal far infrared technology and just it creates this space for you to go and take those deep breaths, let things integrate and just relax. So many of us don't just feel like we have that space to relax and let go.
Speaker 1:You still have that wonderful healing water.
Speaker 6:Oh, absolutely Part of care is definitely Kangen water. I am putting it through some special filtration on top of active, like activating the water for hydrogen molecules, for it's structured water. So what we put into our body matters, and so if we're putting junk in, what do we expect out of our bodies? So clean water, especially for a properly working nervous system, that's foundational health. Clean water, good food, body and breath techniques so that you feel like you have the energy and you have the energy to make healthier choices as you move through your day. So yeah, the Kangen water is definitely a part of care and it's for my practice members as well, so everyone can come in and fill up and take what they need.
Speaker 1:Melissa and Moon Healing. You have a special offer $150 off your initial wellness care package. Call 530-488-0000, 530-488-0000. And when you do and you speak to Melissa, say, yay, I heard about you. On Pants, Peeps, it's those words that are going to get you that exclusive offer.
Speaker 6:Absolutely. That's the magic right there.
Speaker 1:There you go. How about your address, Melissa?
Speaker 6:I am located at 101 Orange Street. I am upstairs in the building Suite C and I'm right there in downtown Auburn. I'm a stone's throw from all the good restaurants, all the fun, easy access, great parking and we can have a nice initial consultation to see if care is the right fit.
Speaker 1:Melissa Moon. Restore your inner peace. Melissa Moon at Moon Healing Studio will do that. 101 Orange Street, sweet C in Auburn. Melissa, thank you for your time. I'll drop by and have a glass of that wonderful water with you, okay.
Speaker 6:Oh, anytime, I would love to see you Pat.
Speaker 1:There we go. Melissa, moon Moon Healing. There you go, yeah. So thank you to Melissa, thank you to Olympia, dave Loyal, dan, danielle, everyone. Mostly, thank you to you, my friends. I greatly appreciate that.
Speaker 1:I know that was a little different, but really what we're really trying to do, as I always tell you, is we are trying to support local business. That's what the podcast you know I don't get bogged down in the podcast with that too often I say you know I say bogged down, I'm talking about. You know it's not in every podcast, but I try to. You know, just have a little fun with a podcast, but I just want you to know what we are all about and that is supporting the local businesses and giving you a great way to save money. So everyone's looking to do that. So I was inspired to. I didn't pull a record off my record shelf but it made me think of this song here, inspired by everyone, and there's so many more of you. We are looking for new businesses all the time. If you're listening and you're saving money with Pat's Peeps and saying Pat's Peeps, please tell your friends. Please do that. It means so much to all of us. Without it, I don't know. I mean, I don't know what will happen, but it inspired me to play this.
Speaker 1:It's a song written by Wilbert Harrison Wilbert Harrison. It was a hit both for Wilbert Harrison and this group, who covered this song and released it as a single in December of 1969. Went to number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It was featured on their 1970 album Future Blues. This song was based on Harrison's 1962 song let's Stick Together, which was covered by Brian Ferry in 1976. It is part, by the way, of the movie the soundtrack, tim Burton's movie Big Fish. I always liked this one. It means a lot to me and it's relevant to what we're talking about today. It's canned heat. It's let's Work Together. Thanks for listening to Pat's Peeps 298. We'll see you on the radio.
Speaker 2:Together we'll stand. Divided we'll fall. Come on now, people, let's get on the ball. Let's work together, come on, come on, let's work together Now, now, people, because together we will stand. And a man.
