We start back in the year 1804, outraged over disparaging remarks that Alexander Hamilton had allegedly made at a dinner party. Aaron Burr challenged his longtime rival to a duel. And on this day, fatally shot Hamilton. It happened in Weehawken, New Jersey. 1960. Harper Lee's Tequila Mockingbird was published, noted for its sensitive treatment of a child's awakening to racism and prejudice in the South. 1979. It was on this day that the abandoned United States spaceship Skylab returned to Earth. Oh, there it goes. 1985. Dr. H. Harlan Stone announced that he had used zippers. Zippers for stitches. And he did it on 28 patients. Why? Well, the zippers were used according to Dr. Stone because he thought he he might have to reoperate. And on this day in 1987, Bo Jackson signed the contract to play football for the LA Raiders for five years. He also continued to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals. Bo Nose Baseball. Bono's football. And that's a Bono's commercial with music by Bo Diddley. Bo, you don't know Diddley. And that is this day in history for the 11th of July. Peter Brown with hits such as Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me? He's turning 73 today. Suzanne Vega is 67. And guitarist and songwriter with John Bon Jovi. Richie Sambora, he is turning 67 years old today.
