And our first stop in the Wayback Machine, the year 1965. It was on this day that the Beach Boys released California Girls.

A song they released on this day back in 1965, one of Brian Wilson's favorite compositions with an introduction that combines country and classical. 1954 on this day. Elvis Presley signed his first recording contract and quit his job as a truck driver. The contract that was with Sun Records. 1979. Disco Demolition Night at Kaminsky Park with a White Sox Tigers double hatter. The plan was to blow up disco albums between games, but fans became unruly and rushed the field. The White Sox, they had to forfeit the second game. 1988. Playgirl magazine publishes their list of the 10 sexiest rockers. Alright, we got the top five here. At number five, we have Richard Marks.
