Dwell Among Us

How to Read the Bible

Tabernacle Ministries Episode 8

As youth pastors, we saw a problem in our church that plagues the Church at large, Christians do not really know their Bibles. While sometimes Christians can just be disinterest, often this issue comes down to the simple truth that the Bible can be hard to understand. The Bible is a library of ancient literature written at least 2,000 years ago, by men who lived in a world incredibly different than our own. How do we as modern people go about understanding and applying such an ancient book? What can it do for us today?
