Rosalie Cloud, known by her stage name Rose Cloud, is a gospel singer whose soul-stirring vocals and deeply personal songwriting reflect a lifelong devotion to faith,  family, and music. Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Rosalie discovered her passion for music in the church choir, where her powerful voice first began to shine. Music runs deep in her blood. mother, Virginia Cloud—a Justice of the Peace and the City Treasurer of New Haven—Rosalie was surrounded by love, leadership, and a legacy of music from an early age. She spent years performing with her siblings in a family band, cultivating her talent as both a singer and songwriter.

Before devoting herself to gospel, Rosalie began her musical journey in R&B, where her emotionally rich and soulful sound began to flourish. Today, as Rose Cloud, she channels that same depth into gospel music—writing
and singing songs that uplift, heal, and inspire.  On May 11, 2025, Rose Cloud released her latest single, “All I Ever Wanted,” a heartfelt tribute to her late parents.
Released on Mother’s Day, the track honors the spiritual and emotional foundation they gave her and marks a new chapter in her musical journey.

Joe Young is an award-winning cartoonist, filmmaker, producer, writer, and teaching artist with a distinguished career spanning over 35 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Goodwin University and has made significant contributions to the arts and entertainment industry, particularly in nurturing talent and enhancing the cultural and social fabric of Connecticut.

He is the President & CEO of Hartford’s Got Talent, a non-profit agency that showcases talent and connects the community.

Joe is the creative force behind the newly released KEMET comic property, which boasts a readership of twenty million in Black newspapers nationwide. He is in post production of KEMET CT GEMS, a youth travel documentary to be distributed nationally.  The Kemet and ME Juneteenth TV special appeared on numerous major TV affiliates. As the President of Joe Young Entertainment, LLC (JYM), he oversees the distribution of original digital content to streaming TV channels and media outlets. His pioneering work includes being the writer and executive producer of Hartford’s first major homegrown book-to-film project, Diamond Ruff. He is also the President of Hartford’s Got Talent, a non-profit agency that showcases talent and connects the community.

A Guinness World Record holder, Joe created the World’s Longest Comic Strip in 1999, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the arts. His accomplishments extend to being the former record company president of Joe Young/Maurice Starr Entertainment (New Kids on the Block creator), being a co-producer on the feature film “The Featherweight", filmed in Hartford, CT, and executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions. He was an Executive Producer on the feature film “Midas”, that was recently the #1 movie on Starz. . Many of his live action and animated films can be seen on Amazon Prime, Tubi TV, and other streaming channels.

In recognition of his remarkable contributions, Governor Ned Lamont declared June 19, 2024, as “Joe Young Day” in Connecticut, celebrating his extensive impact on the arts and entertainment industry. Joe's volunteerism and dedication to inner-city youth earned him the Daily Point of Light award from the White House in 1999.

Joe's current leadership roles include serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of The University of Bridgeport, Ambassador for the Bushnell Theater,  Chair of the City of Hartford Film and Media Commission, and theThe Boyz Foundation. Joe also has a donor-advised fund “Young Edutainment Fund” at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

His work and achievements have garnered national attention, with features in prestigious publications such as People, Ebony, GQ, and Jet Magazine, and appearances on major media outlets like C-Span, CNN, and the Black Family Channel and others.

Jordan Rainer is a country music singer from Oklahoma who has been praised for her authenticity and work ethic. While Texas artists are rapidly influencing country music on a national level and exposing the return to their musical roots; no other artist is showing how true his Texas roots are more than Weldon Henson. Weldon has been working his way into the musical ranks across the Lone Star state, staying true to the traditions that are Texas country with lyrical tales of heartache, dance halls, open roads, family traditions and hometown lifestyles. The landscape of Texas is evident in each of his performances with his Honky Tonk Frontier band.

Weldon delivers the modern day working man storyline in his lyrics just as the legends who’ve come to Austin before him. He’s walking in the footsteps of those who’ve conquered in the counterculture movements against the “Nashville sound.” His Honky Tonk Frontier band can be found touring the historic dance halls across Texas’ hill country and every honky tonk in between. It isn’t easy keeping a foothold of traditional Texas country music, but Weldon has gained significant acclaim for the past 15 years with his “Texas-made honky tonk” performances, a tagline he uses to express his style. “It’s authentic, Texas honky tonk lyrics delivered with a dance beat that just makes you feel good”, Weldon proclaims. “It’s all about enjoying life.”

As Waylon Jennings has spoken of writing, “your melody goes where the words take you,” Weldon’s songwriting does exactly this.  His fifth CD, “Texas Made Honky Tonk” was released in Jan of 2019.  It’s been over ten years of writing such melodies and lyrics since his first CD, “Trying to Get By” in 2007. This seasoned songwriter’s repertoire has gained him local recognition for dedication and artistry with the mayor of Austin naming February 25, “Weldon Henson Day” for the city, joining the noted local ranks of many local legendary artists. He’s earned his rightful place in Austin’s music scene and all over the state of Texas while also expanding his audiences internationally with special performances in Europe as well.  Since then Weldon has added to his catalog by releasing a fan favorite Gospel album entitled “Songs For The Soul” in 2020 and “Live From Mercer Dancehall”, in 2021, a live album which catches Weldon and his live band at their best and a terrific representation of what Weldon has built over his career.

His musical upbringing in Humble, Texas, initiated his foray into singing and playing violin and piano. Yet it was while serving in the Air Force that Weldon turned to the guitar and his passion for playing music truly awoke. “I was 19 or 20 years old when it all clicked and felt right,” he recalls. “At the time, I was learning to play guitar and I did so by playing and singing my favorite Hank Williams and Johnny Cash songs. Needless to say, I caught the bug right then and never looked back.” With a move to Austin after serving his time in the military, Weldon now reflects back on that decision to venture out on his musical journey to the Live Music Capital. “Now, to have the mayor proclaim a day in honor of me is pretty cool and I take time to reflect on the years, thousands of gigs and seven albums I have been able to make, all of which would have never been possible if I would have never made the move to Austin in the first place.”

Mr. B & The Wolf took a year off in 2024, some members taking time to be with family whilst others moved on to follow another career.

January 2025 saw a new line up emerge from the Wolf Camp.

Mr. B (aka) Dean Baker, Alongside Original Bandmates Jason Chown (Drums/ Percussion & Jason Bird (Bass, Backing Vocals) were Joined my new Guitarist Ricardo Machado.

They began to Jam at The start of January, and almost straight away began writing new material.

Several local gigs have confirmed their ability to be able to perform live together and with new song releases being recorded and gig offers coming through. The year is building quite nicely for Mr. B & The Wolf.

In this episode of The Mikey & Kat Show, we're excited to catch up with Mikey just a few days after his triple bypass surgery! Mikey faced quite a scare when he had a heart attack at home and was quickly rushed to the emergency room. Thankfully, they transferred him to Christus Shoreline Hospital right away, where he went into surgery on September 4th. After a few hours, he was taken to the ICU, where he spent two days recovering. 

We're happy to share that Mikey moved to the 6th floor for another week and a half, where he made an amazing recovery without any complications. He returned home on September 11th and has been working hard every day to get stronger and regain his energy. We're so glad to have him back and can’t wait to share more stories with all of you!

Robin McAuley (born 20 January 1953) is an Irish singer. He is best known as the vocalist for the rock band McAuley Schenker Group from 1986 to 1993, during which time the band released three studio albums: Perfect Timing, Save Yourself and M.S.G., a live album, Unplugged Live, and a Japan-only EP, Nightmare: The Acoustic M.S.G. He made further appearances with Schenker in 2012, and also in 2016 with Michael Schenker Fest, alongside original M.S.G. singers Gary Barden and Graham Bonnet, and Doogie White of Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock.

In 1985, McAuley recorded a version of the Paul and Barry Ryan song, "Eloise"; this was released as a single. In 1991, he recorded a song called "Teach Me How to Dream", which was included on the soundtrack to the spy action comedy film, If Looks Could Kill as the love theme.

McAuley has also performed with Grand Prix, Survivor and Far Corporation, including singing on the latter's UK #8 single, a version of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven". In 1999, McAuley released a solo album, Business As Usual, which was written and recorded with the help of future Survivor bandmate, Frankie Sullivan.

McAuley is also a longstanding member of the star-studded Raiding the Rock Vault cast,[7] and vocalist for the all-star project Black Swan, which also features Reb Beach and fellow Rock Vault alumni, Jeff Pilson and Matt Starr. Black Swan's debut album, Shake the World, was released in February 2020. In a 2021 interview with Pariah Burke, McAuley stated that this particular album is his personal favourite out of all those that he has recorded.

McAuley has also been known to perform alongside his son, Casey.

McAuley performed at Firefest Festival (10 Years After), which was held in the UK at Manchester Academy on 11–13 October 2024. The singer headlined on the Saturday night, on a bill which also included Touch and Cats in Space.

Jake Rowland believes that life’s greatest impact comes from helping others. This belief became deeply personal when he donated a kidney to a close friend, an experience that reshaped his perspective and fueled his passion for advocacy.

As Director of Operations and Associate Broker with Team Kristin Brown at Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners, Jake brings integrity, strategic problem-solving, and a client-focused approach to real estate. His ability to connect with people and guide them through major decisions has earned him a strong reputation in the industry.

Beyond real estate, Jake is a passionate advocate for kidney donation and a volunteer Donor Mentor with the Georgia Transplant Foundation, providing support and encouragement to those considering organ donation.

An avid traveler, Jake believes that any day at the beach is a good day. When he’s not working with clients or volunteering, he enjoys music, time with family, and finding new ways to give back. His journey is a testament to the power of generosity, resilience, and human connections. 


Dayna Cohen did the quintessential New York thing—born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, and later settling in Long Island. But after Hurricane Sandy and a few life changes in 2016, she made a bold move to Savannah, Georgia, determined to leave snowy winters behind for good. She quickly found her place in the community, built strong friendships, and in 2021, finally decided it was time to upgrade her furniture.

That decision led her to Jake Rowland, who helped her pick out a new chair and dressers—an ordinary shopping trip that would unexpectedly change her life. The two bonded over their shared love of New York, exchanging stories, jokes, and eventually, a lasting friendship. Months later, when Dayna was diagnosed with kidney failure, Jake was one of the first people to hear her story. What she didn’t know at the time was that he would soon become more than a friend—he would become her kidney donor.

Through a journey filled with challenges, resilience, and unwavering support, Dayna gained not just a life-saving kidney but an incredible friendship and extended family. Now, she is dedicated to mentoring other kidney recipients as they wait for their match. As a Donor Mentor with the Georgia Transplant Foundation, she provides guidance, encouragement, and hope to those navigating the emotional and physical journey of transplantation.

When she’s not advocating for kidney health, Dayna enjoys the coastal charm of Savannah, cherishing sunny days, great food, and the friendships that make life truly meaningful. Her story is a testament to the unexpected connections that can change everything.

Long Beach-resident and musician Mark Allen Lanoue has an ambitious new project — a record deal for an album featuring some heavy weights from the metal scene, forming the group Fiction SYXX. The 11-track LP titled “Tall Dark Secrets” is set for an August release on Melodic Rock Records.

Lanoue has been a singer and guitarist for rock bands, including Biloxi, Chasing Karma and Persian Risk. With him in Fiction SYXX is Tony “The Fretless Monster” Franklin, who played alongside Jimmy Page in The Firm and also played with Blue Murder and Kenny Wayne Shepard; Nashville studio drummer and MIT graduate Rory Faciane; keyboardist Eric Ragno, who played with Joel Lynn Turner and Graham Bonnet; and, Lanoue’s initial inductee into the lineup, multi-instrumentalist and guitarist JK Northrup, who played in King Kobra and XYZ.

Other musicians who made guest appearances on the album are from the bands Firehouse, Nazareth, House of Lords and Trixter. Lanoue shares lead vocals with former Krokus frontman Carl Sentance on the song “Larger than Life.” There also is an appearance by local guitarist Andy Lee, who shared lead on the album’s last track, “Children of the Night.” The first song written for the album was “Welcome to My Nightmare,” which is not a cover of the Alice Cooper classic, but rather is an original that Lanoue said establishes the essence of the album, which sways between album-oriented, melodic and progressive rock. “It’s a moving window,” Lanoue said. “The final result is a mix of big choruses and guitar and the smooth movements of the fretless bass.”

The band’s name, Fiction SYXX, is a reference to the number 666 — which Lanoue said has meanings that are not just Biblical, but also have historical and mythological significance. Lanoue, a self-proclaimed “non-judgmental Christian,” said his fascination with the number was drawn from his birth date — the sixth day of the sixth month in 1966, which is 6/6/1966. “With that being my birthday, I lived with that aura,” he said. “You give someone your ID and they look at you like you’re about to light them on fire.” Lanoue said there is plenty of spirituality in the album’s artwork that features elaborate works by “CAB” Carl Andrew Bleckmark, whose past work included art for Iron Maiden, as well as the track “Spirits Collide,” a song he wrote for a late family loved one. Lanoue said the lineup lends something special to each song. “It’s humbling. Some of these guys are heroes,” he said. To date, there are no plans for touring due to everyone’s demanding schedules. Lanoue said there is a possibility that they could unite for some festival shows if the right opportunity presents itself.
