So like I don't know if everybody just went out for like the holidays or what, or like I don't know what I don't know what's going on.

Yeah, yeah. No, okay, so um, so I had my first, I had my first appointment, right? And so my how'd it go? So my psychiatrist was like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I I definitely see some like things that like you probably definitely have like some ADHD. You definitely like she I took the test or whatever, and it was like, yeah, you got some severe shit. Um, and then you definitely have some anxiety, you definitely got some depression.

I don't know. I think I don't I don't know. The the OCD thing was like definitely threw me for a loop. It was like, oh shit. Really? Um the ADHD thing was it's very affirming. The ADHD thing is affirming for sure. Um, like even like so. I'm I'm doing psychiatry and therapy because they're two different things, right? So psychiatry, psychiatry has the power to like prescribe me medication and like diagnose me with shit, and therapy is just like, and how do you feel? And uh like my I I mentioned to my therapist that I was seeking psychiatry, and my therapist was like, Oh yeah, uh, like I mentioned some stuff, and she's like, that actually does sound like uh ADHD paralysis to me, and like stuff like that, because I was telling her, like, sometimes I feel like I can't like like I have a whole list of shit that I have to do, and then I feel like shit because I can't get off my ass to do it, and then I just feel guilty because like what the fuck am I doing with my life if all I'm doing is just sitting here. And then sometimes I have like a whole list of shit that I have to do, and then I don't know where to get started, so then I'm just stuck. Or sometimes I have like an appointment that's at like the middle of the day or something like that. Like, for example, today you're like, Yeah, let's let's record at two o'clock. So because of that, I'm like, okay, cool, I cannot do anything until after two o'clock.

Yeah, so like normal people don't do that. Normal people can go function and do things, and they just know, like, oh, I have to be back at the house before then. And then because I'm not normal, I'm like, I must stay here until I do the thing, and then once the thing is done, then I will do and then by the time the thing is done, I'm so exhausted from waiting all day that I like can't do anything else.

Um so I was able to say goodbye. I hate to always be the depressing guy.

I'm like, yeah. Yeah, I literally told my mom exactly what you just said over the phone because she said you should go over there. She's gonna be dead by Monday. And I was like, dang, like uh, I don't know what to say. Like, I feel uh uncomfortable. Like I love my aunt, um, but it's like I feel like there's a lot of pressure that I gotta like send her off with some some sort of magical words that are gonna like give her comfort or or something, and I just didn't know I don't know. I felt like I didn't want to say the wrong thing or or be like uh so far removed from the situation that it was weird that I was there because as much as that's my great aunt, like that's my grandma's sister, like that's you know, so like I just didn't want to like overstep or be overly involved. Yeah, um, but then like you go and you sit down.

You guys like played together as kids, you went to the same school. She went to Lincoln. I don't know if you knew that or not. Um, but she left as we entered. Like she graduated when we became freshman. Um, like uh, and this is Nicole's grandma, and she's really close to her grandma, same way I'm really close to mine. And so uh I went over there and I I prayed with my aunt. Um after she passed, I helped move all her stuff. Uh, not all of it, because there's a lot of stuff. I don't even think they're still done yet. Um, but I've been handling that mixed with, you know, everything else going on. And uh I don't know, it it's uh true, even the shit with the apartment. I don't even know how much I really want to get into that. But uh I was having financial troubles on top of all of this too, to where I was like, dang, you know, um, I may need to ask my family for help, but how dare I do something like that when they're going through all of this? And uh, you know, I I never gained like the testicular fortitude to ask my cousins or aunts for help. So I just was like basically trusting in my higher power that something was gonna fall out the sky, and in a weird way it kind of did.

Oh, yeah, that part too, because uh just for the people who don't know the full story, I'm like in short, um, I was given an opportunity to earn money doing what I already do, um, so that way I didn't have to take any handouts, uh, that way I could pay my freaking bills. Yeah. Um, so that that was a super huge blessing. And like my first little contracting job, I've never just been the lead guy on any project. So um they were like, hey, you know how to do this? And I was like, Yeah. And they were like, Awesome, we were gonna hire somebody anyways, might as well hire you. And I was like, fuck it. And then I went and saw what they had for me, and uh, it was totally something I've done before, and I was like, dude, I could do this. We just need blank, blank, and blank. And they're like, okay, cool. And honestly, Saturday, yesterday, or no, the day before yesterday, um was my first day out there, and they had none of the tools we talked about. Um, so instead, we just did landscaping on the property, which was one of the things they wanted to accomplish, anyways. There was hella overgrown trees and bushes and literally growing into the house, like wrapping around like the uh, because they have like those bars on the outside of the window. Um so yeah, we literally just chopped down um foliage. And you know what? I want to give a big shout out to uh a friend of mine that you met recently, uh Fats. Fats has been such a crazy good friend in these last couple of times.

Um like yeah, I I I like that, I appreciate it because maybe at a younger age, I was like, whoa, this is crazy.

But like uh I kind of liked that there was like no particular point of view, like it felt almost like an omniscient point of view because I felt like I was getting both his and her point of view at points. Yeah, like we were we were bouncing back and forth between both of their like perspectives, which was kind of cool, but at the same time, like I feel like most romance animes tend to be in like the girl's perspective.

Like you like, you kind of liked that one. And then um another one that I think I think I've talked to you about that I think that you would really like is a flower that blooms with dignity. It's on Netflix, and it is so cute. Oh my god, I cried my eyeballs out, it's so cute. The boy, so the boy is like basically he looks like a thug, just he comes off that way, and so he grows up like with not really any friends, and he just gets used to that, and then he gets transferred to a new school, and he starts to like kind of make friends. It's an all-boys school, and right next door is like an all-girls school, and they're like the schools themselves are like the boys' school is like they're kind of dumb, and the girls' school is like they're really smart, and so they kind of hate each other, and like the girls are like, Oh, they're all delinquents, so on and so forth, and so um, somehow the boy ends up running into like the main girl, and she is like very sweet, like she she goes to their his his family owns like a patisserie, and she goes to their shop like all the time and gets sweets and stuff like that, and he kind of like ends up meeting her that way, and they end up eventually just linking up and becoming friends, and then his friend group and her friend group meet, and like there's like some like at first, there's some like butting heads and stuff like that when their friend groups meet, but eventually, like you go through the whole thing, like it's all obvious like romance bullshit, but throughout it all, he's just going through this like internal struggle of like accepting the fact that his friends actually like really love him and care about him, and like and you get like the par parental point of view too, where they're like watching from the sidelines and like they keep peeping in and seeing him with friends, and they get all like teary-eyed and shit, and that's really sweet, and like it's just like so cute, and he's just like my friends actually like me, and they don't they're like I don't have to actually be like vague about it, and like I can tell my friends like what actually happened like in my past and stuff like that, and it's so cute, it's just so cute because he's just like he's just like a sweet little boy, and he's like, Nobody's ever gonna like me because of the way I look, and so he's just like fuck it. I'm just gonna look even worse, I'm gonna look even scarier then, and so then I don't know, it's just so sweet, but yeah, I don't know.

I think you would like it. I that brings two things to mind. One of them I'm not gonna get too much into because if we get into it, we will, but that's Fire Force. Um, the main character in that has kind of a certain look to him, and because people automatically assume certain something about him, um, he actually kind of does the opposite. He like goes out of his way to become a hero, even though he doesn't look like one. Um and then the other thing is the the show I recommended to you, the Gachiakuta. Um, you know, people because of the way that guy looked and the way he chose to live his life, they uh, you know, I shouldn't say the way he chose to live his life. I mean, he was kind of stealing because he I don't know, maybe I shouldn't get too much into it.

There was only one thing that I knew going in, and that's that apparently uh at some point in the show, I didn't see any of it yet, uh the power balance or whatever you call that, like the the power system, is that people's belongings, like the longer that you have something and it has sentimental value, is the more power it holds, and then they be like fighting with their objects. So I'm assuming at some point his gloves are gonna have some sort of powers, and he's gonna be able to fuck people up with his gloves because they're so special to him. That's the only thing that I knew going in.

Not that they don't deserve it, because like, what the fuck? Homeboy was wrong.

And then it made more sense, and I was like, Oh, yeah, but and then of course, too, like immediately I was like, Why is everybody wearing white? This is so boring, right?

I was paying attention to like a lot of weird stuff while while I was watching the episode. Like I was paying attention to like the the art and like the way that like his which I paid attention to the art in both of them, to be honest. Like I really liked the art in um I like the art in both of them. They're just incredibly different styles. Like I really liked the way that the hair was done in um in the one that I recommended, but I was also like really stuck on the Rudo's hair and the one that yours was in Gachiakus. I was really stuck on his hair too, because I kept looking at the way that his like this like this is like delve into the mind of an artist for a second. I was really looking at like the shading at the ends of his hair and like how it like faded, but it was not like it was it was faded, like it went like dark to light, but at the same time there was still like harsh lines as to like where it was placed. So it was like it was very interesting the way that, but then on some strands it didn't do that, so it was like it was just very interesting. I kept looking at that and the shape, the general shape of his hair and the way it moved and stuff. I was just very I was very entranced by his hair the whole time. I was like, wow, but I'm excited.

Um I do want to keep watching it, um, but I don't know like whether or not it's even gonna be good. A lot of people are liking it, but I'm kind of critical. Um but one thing I'm excited to see though, the thing I've seen the most of online is there's a lot of uh black characters in the show. Um and they have like different hairstyles, like there's a dreadheaded character, there's a uh bald black woman character. Dang, this really is arcane. Um but uh I don't know. I'm I'm excited to see more of the characters because we really didn't get yeah, and bro, I was so upset about the girl that like threw the fucking bunny down because yeah, I was pretty pissed about that too.

Um yeah, and and then when he committed murder, it's like, okay, murder, yeah, he thrown to the pit, I get it. This is their society. But what's even crazier is like that pit, I don't know if it led to another dimension or if it's just the top and bottom of their world, but like the bottom of their world, he's like, dude, this isn't some sort of fucking landfill garbage dump, it's the fucking gateway to hell. And I know he was probably speaking uh metaphorically, but like what the hell was that giant ass monster that was gobbling up all the trash, you know?

If you haven't watched Attack on Titan, go watch that shit and don't listen to what I say. The way that he was thrown off the edge of their society to be surrounded by giant creatures just hella reminded me of Attack on Titan, you know?

This should be preserved or like cleaned up or whatever. Like objects hold like a certain spirit to them, you know? Um so I don't know. I kind of identified with him on that point. Do you think that that guy who got killed is really dead?

And I feel like this dude either faked his own death or maybe he's gonna be alive somehow and he's gonna be bad. But when I first saw him, I thought he was bad, and then he started talking and he wasn't. So I just wonder if I have like the the radar to. sniff out uh you know the bad guy I think he's probably just gonna be a nothing character.

But yeah Okay so the first one the moonlit um dusk what would you uh what would you rank it out of like 10 I think I think already I want to watch the whole thing like I'm really excited for like more episodes to come out um and I can't really give it a ranking yet like fully fully but off the first episode like I'm really excited about it so I'll give it like an 8.9 Okay nice yeah I would give it like an eight I feel like it's good the art is good the story's good there's a lot I appreciate um yeah I give it an eight I thought it was funny and cute and then um Gachiakuta based on the first episode just like the other what do you feel about this one I think I'll give that one an eight too nice yeah you know I think I might rank it a tiny bit lower not because it's not good or that it's worse than the other one it's just that um there wasn't any fighting yet you know like he ran away from those people trying to shoot him but like based off of the way that this show has been like presented it seems like it's gonna be a lot about fighting and I haven't seen no hands thrown so it's hard for me to like if I think about it and I think about like some of our favorite like current shows their first episodes there's not really a lot of fighting in them um like like my hero academia I feel like if I think back to the first episode I don't really remember a lot of fighting I just remember like yeah the sludge monster the sludge monster uh kidnaps Bakugo and he's like destroying shit and Izuku tries to save him and fails and then All Might destroys the monster so I mean there's at least one fight it's not super eventful but like um I just remember Izuko like crying a lot and then and then Demon Slayer I know he didn't really like fight fight like he tried to like stand up to the other guy but like not only that he was attacked by his sister like she was like trying to kill him yeah but I mean at the same time like I would say that these fights are like with the the amount that the main characters are fighting it's on par with like the way that homeboy was literally just running away from the people that were shooting at him yeah I mean I'm not saying it's lacking action I just I have I have no idea what the main character's capable of I don't know if he's a pussy and can't fight back I don't know if he's so skilled that he's untouchable I don't know anything about him other than the fact that like his dad was a murderer and he likes digging through trash and he's pretty decent at running away. You know what I mean? So like it gives me something to work with but as far as like the the presentation of like the newest action anime like I guess that's the point it's action right it's not a fighting anime it's not Dragon Ball Z or or um Ken Gon Ashura where it's just nothing but buff dudes so you know someone's gonna fight um I think it's more about the the story it's more about the world they live in rather than the individuals which would be a a clean line of separation uh from the first show yeah it's probably gonna follow it's probably more gonna follow lines along along Attack on Titan than it is like Demon Slayer or like My Hero Academia because it's not like a a hero anime.

So it's probably gonna have a lot to do with like politics and a lot to do with like those underlying like commentary that those kind of anime have yeah totally and just just based off of based off of uh the first episode I'm gonna give it like a seven and a half um I still think it's good I think it will get better and maybe as I watch it my ranking will go higher but just off the first episode I'd say it was good I it wasn't the craziest thing I've ever seen I'm not on the edge of my seat I do want to know what happens next um so yeah I'm definitely gonna keep watching it for sure are you gonna keep watching in the clear moonlight dusk yeah I mean it's coming out weekly so I'll definitely watch it at a slower pace but I'll probably keep up with them as they drop um luckily Crunchyroll whenever there's a new episode they like slap it at the top of your list um uh but with the Gachiakuta there's a the whole first season about yeah there's a lot of episodes so I could kind of binge that if I feel like it um yeah man I definitely liked these shows um yeah maybe we should say our salutations to the audience and then get into the show what we about to get into thank you for listening do not forget to subscribe comment like leave us some stars and yeah let us know like you I love you
