A lot of people hate on the Boo Saga, but there's like a lot of good stuff in there that I don't think uh we could go without. Like Majin Vegeta and Fusions and Super Saiyan 3 and all that type of stuff.

Honestly, I like how you know Major Boo gets mad at the time because you have to wait 30 minutes for trunks that go to fuse.

Um I'm just enjoying the peace. I moved to Luforest um last time because I was living with my parents. Yeah. So I just moved to the forest.

And it's funny that we're doing this podcast on Dragon Ball type stuff because since you finished Dragon Ball Z from all the way from Raditz Clear to Oob, you know, now you're asking me, you're like, Wow, what should I do? Should I watch GT? Should I watch old school Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Super?

You know, I heard of GT, but I heard like a lot of people hate it. I just wanted to try it out.

In Z, they're definitely red. And then I think in Super they either turn on green or white or something like that.

Yeah, they do something where uh, you know, they look a little more vibrant than super, and then in GT he's got like the the little square purple glasses, and uh, you know, GT being that it was still like the the 90s, um, it still had like that cool like swag to the outfits and stuff. Like GT had his uh GT. Goten had like his uh little sideways haircut, yeah. And his girl was still wearing like uh what do you call those?

They're looking a little bit like Yamcha.

You know what's funny? There are so many times that people have like these silly theories that Yamcha is secretly like the dad to Goku's kids. It doesn't make any sense because they can go super sick, so it doesn't make any sense, but it's just the hair, like constantly, like uh Yamcha and Gohan have matching hairstyles for multiple points throughout the show. Um, and then of course when Goten gets a little older, he straight up looks like Yamcha.

Well, I was wondering, like, uh with Frieza, like, do you think uh do you what do you think about the way that he like kind of has prejudice towards uh towards all the other beings in the universe? Like he has this sense of entitlement, like he's better than everybody.

Well, he's immortal too. Um he thinks of himself like his god. I mean he might consider himself something like that, but we've seen because of like Beerus and stuff like that, that Frieza isn't on that level. Beerus Yeah, he straight up cowards before Beerus, so we know Frieza's not some deity, but he's definitely on the highest scale of uh of like mortal life forms for sure.

I mean, he's yeah, he's super sophisticated. He uses big words and and uh he acts like super educated, which I feel like I don't know if you've realized that like the Z Frieza and the Super Frieza are different voices. Have you realized that?

It's like uh an anime about this. So you know how when you play video games there's like a menu and you know you can customize your character and things like that.

It's like, oh, so I'm gonna die if I don't complete this mission. So he's gotta go do whatever it is, and you know kind of wanna watch that now. Yeah, yeah, we can definitely check it out afterwards. Yeah. But yeah, it was really good. I watched all of it like back to back um in a binge, and then uh I watched Paranoia Agent, that one's about like people having mental breakdowns and stuff like that.

It's just plain writing on the wall. And I I love go um I love classic Dragon Ball because there's no beating around the bush, it's just all solid meat and potatoes, just a good time. Everything is canon except for just a few little tiny episodes sprinkled here and there. There's like not a lot of filler. Um some people like if you're in for the like maybe Dragon Ball isn't gonna be your favorite cup of tea. Or like Zapoyos, definitely, but like Dragon Ball has so much comedy and so much like good vibes, like it's just a vibe. I love classic Dragon Ball. Me too. I love it more than Z. And I know a lot of people might not agree, but I don't know. For me, it's just a vibe. I love going back to it. I'll watch it on a loop probably forever.

There's a lot of like futuristic retro shit that's popping off these days, like with uh Fantastic Four is also taking that route.

Um, and Master Roshi tells him that his training for the next three years is to travel the world without the flying nimbus. Travel travel the world on foot. Walk, run, swim.

Yeah, but he'll train, he'll get stronger again. I mean, obviously you skipped all the way to superhero, so you see that he gets strong again.

Yeah, he gets beast mode.

Yeah, but it's not just beast mode, like uh he kind of, you know, he gets his groove back, don't worry.

Yeah. But uh I like how Piccolo, you know, in the superhero movie, like he'll hold the phone all like up to his face.

Well, I think it's just to imply that like he's like an ancient creature that like isn't familiar with our technology, you know? Because he's been locked away for hella years or whatever.

So, like, you know, I don't but see there's weird inconsistencies with that because uh when King Piccolo goes to challenge like the king of the world or whatever for his throne, he then goes to the television and starts speaking to the camera, like he understands that that camera is sending messages all over the planet, like on TV. So, like, I don't know, it's like it seems like he does understand certain aspects of technology, but then other stuff he doesn't, like, I don't really know. And but I guess that's just Dragon Ball, because Dragon Ball has dinosaurs, but it also has spaceships. You know what I'm saying?

You know, I love Piccolo and all that, but like I like the part where like you know it's been like ten years after they defeat Majibou and they're having a big old party, and like, you know, Piccolo like starts talking to Gohan's all smiling stuff. Like a good stepfather.

Well, there's a few different things. One, pan means bread in in Spanish.

And the only reason that's relevant is because like Goku and Gohan, like uh Han means food. You know what I'm saying? So like there's like things where Han and Pan go together. But it's more than that because you got Hercule whose wrestling name is Mr. Satan.

His daughter's name is Videl, which is devil with the word with the letters switched around.

And then Pan is literally like uh a god that kind of represents like the devil as well. It's like a little goat that plays the flute. So Pan is like it it goes in line with the satanic names of like Hercule and and Videl or whatever.

Yeah, well, you know, with all the puns of Weis being an angel, um, did you notice that Pan's shirt when she was training with Piccolo, it said GTH on it and it had like a little monster. It looked like a it almost looked like a demon. So some people were like, oh, GTH might mean like goth or whatever, which is like, you know, kind of goes in line with the Mr. Satan stuff, but it could also stand for go to hell.

Which is seems totally like something Pan would wear if you remember her at GT, she's a lot more of a punk.

I actually kind of appreciate his drip because he's got like the the long sleeve, but like I don't know. Uh I feel like trunks at the end of Z seemed way stronger than Trunks at the beginning of GT, which doesn't make any sense.

Except for the fact that he's like the president of Capsu Corp. So maybe he doesn't train anymore or something like that.

There's a lot of different time cut uh timelines to consider, but I like the fact that at the end of uh Dragon Ball Superhero, Goten and Trunks show up and they're both like how they look at the end of Z.

You know, so um I'm excited to see that version of Trunks like do some shit.

I feel like Goten has mad untapped potential too.

Because he's a lot more like Goku than Gohan is. Gohan's a bit more reserved, but Goten always seemed a bit more wild and goofy the way that Kid Goku used to be.
