The host of Street Duels joins us today as we discuss the new season of OPLA as well as meme culture and the infamous hack for the release of “ The Legend Of Aang ” movie.

SPEAKER_06

Hello. I am Danny.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, our host Danny Gasser and our biggest, most famous guest of all time. F yeah. It's gonna sound a lot more intense when the background music's there. This is his first touch.

SPEAKER_06

You say that, but the last time you were like, and this is where I'm gonna go and impose and put a game show song on, and then you hit it.

SPEAKER_00

I totally didn't do it.

SPEAKER_06

Um has Fats been on an episode before?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I did an episode with about One Piece with him like a really long time ago. Like two years ago.

SPEAKER_01

And then uh I featured on the game show. Oh yeah, you did show up on the game show.

SPEAKER_06

Very, very like distantly in the background, and it sounded like he was just like meh meh meh meh meh.

SPEAKER_01

We're like, oh okay.

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no, no, no, you got kid cutting whiskers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you sound super quiet right now.

SPEAKER_06

Anyway, um, so I uh really briefly before we get into it today, um, would like to call you out on something, I guess.

SPEAKER_00

Ooh, here we go. People really like calling me out on things.

SPEAKER_06

Tell me why.

SPEAKER_00

Everybody.

SPEAKER_06

Tell me why. Tell me why and how is it possible to have 342 unread messages?

SPEAKER_01

Who? Me? You! You have 342 unread messages? Oh, yeah, I guess I do.

SPEAKER_00

How did you figure that out?

SPEAKER_06

You sent me a screenshot because we were supposed to record with my sister today. And it says you had 342 messages. Okay, this is not email, my friends. Email is my regular text messages. I can understand the email. But text messages? First of all, how you even know 342 people? Oh, I guess. No, it's probably multiple. Okay, that makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

It probably counts for spam too.

SPEAKER_06

You get spam text messages?

SPEAKER_00

Well, I guess maybe spam's not the right word. You know, like sometimes when you pay something and then it texts you that your bill was paid, or like or you sign up for something. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_06

I just immediately delete that shit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, my emails are over a thousand. My calls are at 602 and my messages are at 342. 602 in the cards.

SPEAKER_04

Goodness gracious.

SPEAKER_00

That's all missed calls and voicemails.

SPEAKER_04

Actually crazy.

SPEAKER_00

I'm hell off the map. This actually does pretty well for like when I say, Oh, don't take it personal if I didn't answer your call, because I don't answer nobody's calls. I always try to call people back if I can.

SPEAKER_01

You heard that. If gas isn't calling you back, call them one more time. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and that's wild. That is actually like I saw that and I was like, bro, that's crazy. Absolutely pricey.

SPEAKER_00

I'm a very, very famous uh superstar, you know. Very, very rich and famous, and a lot of people want to talk to me.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, okay, okay. No, I'm actually super, super broke.

SPEAKER_00

We've been out here living off the lamb. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Yo ho ho. Yo ho ho ho.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, speaking of pirates, are we gonna talk about it, Danny? Are we gonna talk about the leak?

SPEAKER_06

No, we're not gonna talk about it. We are not talking about it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, we're not gonna talk about it about the. You know what pirates we're talking about?

SPEAKER_04

We're talking about One Piece.

SPEAKER_01

Those are the pirates we're talking about. Because nothing got leaked. There is no leak in boxes.

SPEAKER_06

Nothing we are not talking about that you know why we're not talking about that? Because even though so here's the deal: here's the discourse. The discourse is that some people are talking about, oh, let's let's talk about it, let's share it, let's watch it, let's say. Because Paramount is a fucking asshole, and they were supposed to put it in theaters and then they didn't, da da da da da. And then you have to pay the subscription and blah blah blah blah blah. So let's do all this bullshit and da da da. But at the same time, you have to like respect the actual creators of the piece, and the creators of the piece are upset that this has happened. They are very upset, they have gone on the internet across the way, and they have straight up said, Hey, let's not watch it. Can I would appreciate it if you as a fan base held off and just waited until it's release tight and watched it via release. Like, yeah, that's that's and I as a person and that actually like appreciates and respects like the creators and the people who make art am going to do as they have asked. Because a lot of shit happens and artists are not fucking appreciated, and like that's why we had all that bullshit with fucking that went down with like what's it called? Um, god damn it, um, um, um, soul, uh, no, not soul. God damn it, what the fuck is that anime called? The one where he goes, arise.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, solo leveling.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, solo leveling. All that shit that went down with the fucking artists.

SPEAKER_06

The one how he like he had all that shit with the artists that went down, and they weren't appreciating him, and then there was like the hella delay and all kinds of stuff, and like so on and so forth. It's all because like people treat artists like bullshit, and it's it is bullshit. Don't treat the artists like shit. They spend fucking years making this shit so that way we can enjoy it. If they ask us to do something or not to do something, then do as they ask. God damn it.

SPEAKER_00

I do I do respect the artists. I do respect the art, and I know when you're saying these things, you're not saying them directly to me as much as you're saying. No, no, in general, most people aren't gonna do that. They're gonna try to profit off. Specifically. Yeah, no, I mean, I can't speak for everybody, but speaking for myself, I watched that shit. And I watched it not because I don't respect them, but because I love them and I want to see what it is, and I know that I'm going to go see it again. What because before I knew it wasn't gonna be in theaters, I was like, dude, I'm gonna show up on opening day, I'm gonna dress up, I'm gonna get the Blu-ray when the Blu-ray comes out. Like, we've already invested so much into the not the thing we're not gonna directly say so that we don't, you know, lead any people astray.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um that at this point I feel like I've I've damn near earned this leak. Like, we're how deep are we into this? Ten years, fifteen years into this franchise, and they haven't given us nothing. And then finally, out of the clear blue sky, mana falls from God's hands directly out of the sky, and I'm supposed to not eat it.

SPEAKER_06

I understand where you're coming from, and I also understand where some people are coming from when they argue like why they wanted to watch it and why they are for the leak, and like their arguments with Paramount and everything, like, because Paramount is it's just another big company, and they took it out of theaters so that way they could profit off of subscriptions, and like people are people are going to 100%, and peep by people, I mean like me, myself, are going to purchase a subscription to Paramount specifically to watch this movie and probably cancel it later, but also like that's going to happen, and like so they are profiting off of it and they are doing like stupid, shady, like big company bullshit. And so I understand why the leak happened because they told that the creators this entire time that it was gonna show up in in theaters. The creators 100% deserved their time on the red carpet, but it's taken away happen like yeah, they're it's it's being taken away, and I get it, and it's I mean you're seeing shit like this happen all over the place right now, where people are like fighting back against big corporations in all different kinds of ways. Like, this is happening. I don't know if you've seen all of the toilet paper factories and Amazon factory fires and everything that's happening all over the country right now. Like, people are saying fuck you to CEOs and like big companies, and that's kind of the idea behind.

SPEAKER_00

I remember it happened. So I get it. Um it's happening like right now.

SPEAKER_06

I think one just happened in um in it's pretty close to you that I remember just in the last week. We had like seven um across the country, and one was just right next to you, but I can't remember if it was like uh Bakersfield or if it was um something else. I'll have to look it up. But there was one like that was right by you where you are, and I was like, damn, really? That's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

It's the Great Pyre error. People people are tired of being treated the way that they've been treated for the last 10, 15, 20 years. Um and especially this, you know, new generation, like we we're we're with the bullshit. Can I say that? Can I say that here? Yeah, you can cuss, of course. I just said with the motherfucking bullshit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, um, so I think what we're talking about's actually super relevant in a way because people have been flying the One Piece flag in rebellion all over the world. Have you seen have you been seeing that?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. I've seen people at protests that are flying the fucking One Piece flag and like the straw hat and everything, and it's it's actually really cool. And I've seen like actually quite a bit of like anime cosplaying happening at like different protests and stuff just across the world. The the last like No Kings protest that happened, there was a person who dressed up like Bakugo and like it got really viral. Yeah, it got it went really viral, and like some people there was it ended up being like a huge discourse, and some people were upset about the fact that their video became so popular because there was one there was one side of the upset crowd that was like people of color that were calling it like white people being performative again, which agreed. You can't just fucking show up and like protest and be there and not take pictures and not do stuff and you have to like look at me, I'm doing something good for the world. You have to see what I'm doing. Like when people were hashtag BLMing and putting their fucking black out pictures and everything, but then two minutes later they were like didn't care at all. Uh but there was also the other part of the the like discourse that was against it where they were like, You're taking away from the actual like message behind it. Like now everybody's just like, Oh my god, did you see that person stick Bakugo cosplay?

SPEAKER_00

Instead of like I was gonna be my favorite question is like with the One Piece.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like why are we here in the first place?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, the pirates in One Piece are uh gradually tearing down corrupt governments and and things like that. So, like I understand that, but the Bakugo thing, as cool as that sounds, my very first question was like like why does it relate to it? You know what I mean? Like what what relevance does that serve towards why would you choose Bakugo? Like if it was Aaron, if it was Aaron from Attack on Titan and you're talking about the no-kings protest, that's a perfect fucking cosplay. But yeah, if people are there just to be seen being there and to not provide anything to the movement, then if anything, they're making things worse.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, no, I agree. 100%.

SPEAKER_00

Because it's just adding confusion. Um, also, one last question, even though we this is a this is my ADHD because I'm still thinking about the movie theaters, right? K-pop Demon Hunters went straight to Netflix and it was so successful that Netflix put it in theaters. Is there no reason why like Please excuse Please excuse me in just a second?

SPEAKER_06

So everything okay. I don't know if you're gonna be able to Yeah, I don't know if you you're gonna be able to pick this up on the fucking on the mic when you go back and record this. My cat is taking a shit right now. She's scraping, she's scraping the shit out of the fucking pan. So if it does pop up, try to like take it out so that way not everybody's like listening to her shit.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, continue, continue. Straight tailing it.

SPEAKER_00

But uh, yeah, so why couldn't why couldn't Paramount potentially do the same thing? Like maybe sure it's a it's a home release for the first week or two and then they send it to theaters to get an extra little boost. Like, is there any reason they wouldn't be able to like I I just don't I don't see how streaming is making more money than people physically showing up to do something. It just doesn't make like sense to me.

SPEAKER_06

First of all, it's not like there's no way that the box office will make more like make less money than a streaming subscription. There's no way. I think that I think that Paramour Par Paramount Paramount.

SPEAKER_03

Sorry.

SPEAKER_06

Um sorry. Um there's I think that Paramount is underestimating the size of the Avatar fan base.

SPEAKER_00

So you're ridiculous. Net Netflix would never do this.

SPEAKER_06

I don't think they would actually. I think that Netflix has the data to prove that Avatar has a large fan base because Netflix has Avatar on the site, and they would be able to look at those numbers and see what the streams are like and like everything like that, even if it is like you know, someone's watching this for the umpty time, you know? But so so Netflix would have data to back their decision, whereas I don't know if Paramount does. I don't know what Paramount has on their streaming service because I don't have Paramount.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's literally just a handful of Nickelodeon shows and Transformers, Sonic.

SPEAKER_00

They have a handful of franchises. True. Well, let's put the last little kibosh on the leak and talk about what we came to talk about. Um Yayo Yayo, motherfucking season two of live action one piece.

SPEAKER_06

Hell yeah. Hell yeah! Oh my gosh. Okay, so hold on, sorry. This is like a little bit of a tangent and has nothing to do with anything. But you know how like uh Gen Z and like Gen Alpha kind of suck and they don't have like good memes? They're like Skibbity Toilet and fucking like uh 6'7 and bullshit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. They don't know banana bread at work, bro. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't even know about banana bread at work until you told me.

SPEAKER_03

Banana bread at work, bro?

SPEAKER_00

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Banana work. You should explain it to them.

SPEAKER_06

That's that's are you telling me that you don't know banana bread at work?

SPEAKER_01

You know what? Meme culture is so big and obscure. Like, I know a lot, but I'm not gonna pretend like I know everything. I do know some of like the newer shit, like um Italian brain rock, cappuccino, alpacino. Um but that's like I don't know, banana bread at work, it sounds familiar, but it also sounds like super old, like deep lore type shit. Deep lore.

SPEAKER_06

It it is some vine bullshit. I will say that.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I love how as soon as we're like, let's get into one piece. Banana bread.

SPEAKER_05

Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.

SPEAKER_06

So basically. This guy. He goes.

SPEAKER_01

He goes, uh banana bread at work?

SPEAKER_06

Hell yeah. He goes, dude. He goes, dude. I got some fucking banana bread at work today, dude. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Holy shit, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_06

What the fuck? My mom told me if I wait for things, like good things will happen to me, dude, and fucking I waited for some things and I got some banana bread at work today, dude. Hell yeah. So it just goes to show that waiting for things is like worth it. But there's a lot of bad things in the world, dude. Like fucking skunks, dude?

SPEAKER_00

Hell no.

SPEAKER_05

Scratching your eye, but it's still fucking itchy, dude? Hell no. The fucking cops, dude. Hell no. Like getting paid a lot of money, or getting paid not a lot of money. Hell no.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't know the game was that long.

SPEAKER_03

Hell no yeah. Hell yeah, bro. Hell yeah. You know what's crazy. Hell yeah. Still going off.

SPEAKER_01

I recognized it. Yeah. I recognized it as soon as as soon as you started like really going in, and then around like rubbing your eyes and they still itch. That's when you just lost me. I was like, there's more. There's more, bro.

SPEAKER_04

Fucking skunks, dude? That's my favorite part. Like, fucking skunks, dude? Hell no.

SPEAKER_01

I'd love to do a podcast where we just talk about memes. Damn the meme cast.

SPEAKER_06

Anyway. Anyway, we're here to talk about uh One PSDs of two, and I haven't distracted from us at all. So uh AJ, shut up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, Danny, we're st the STEM hour isn't over yet. We all we're all stimming, bro.

SPEAKER_00

We're all doing separate shit. Like in fucking everything everywhere all at once when they all start trying to activate their alternate powers and they all start shoving stuff up their butts.

SPEAKER_02

What?

SPEAKER_00

You haven't seen the movie, huh?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_00

I left that movie at your house for like five months.

SPEAKER_02

And you still never watched it.

SPEAKER_00

Damn.

SPEAKER_06

It's kind of like when somebody wants you to read a book and like you would read it if like you wanted to, but because someone else wants you to, you don't want to read it.

SPEAKER_04

Like fucking what was the shit?

SPEAKER_01

Anime. Slime. Slime, bro. I want to get into it so bad.

SPEAKER_06

He's but because he wants us to get into it, because he wants us to get into it, it's like, nah, I especially don't want to get into it now.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, that's just so dumb, but whenever you guys recommend me stuff, I watch it. We're not you.

SPEAKER_06

Actually, no. Here's the thing. Actually, no, here's the thing. I actually don't like slime. Like, I have tried to watch it, and I've told you this in the past.

SPEAKER_00

You had a friend, like a penny, you didn't like it.

SPEAKER_06

I had a I had a pen pal who Was super into slime, and I tried to watch it a few times and I just couldn't get behind it. It was like not entertaining.

SPEAKER_01

Well, did you go past the second episode?

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. Hey, but you know, you guys are so similar but different too because Fats made it pretty far. And right when he got to the part that was like pretty cool where I was like, bro, it's all been leading to this. He was like, Alright, I'm done. I was like, this is where the fucking tuning exams start. This is where fucking the androids appear. This is where the show gets good. And he was like, Alright, I'm done.

SPEAKER_04

It's like Attack on Titans when it was the final season, and I was like, uh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

That final season's fucking nuts, but you're right, they did that final season.

SPEAKER_04

Don't make no sense. It starts out with new characters, we're in a different place. I don't know what the fuck is happening. What's going on? What's going on?

SPEAKER_00

Speaking of time.

SPEAKER_06

And then I got confused and I was annoyed. Yeah, speaking of time skips, AJ. What are we talking about?

SPEAKER_00

You know what's crazy? I wouldn't even know where to like start with this one because other sandwiches. I was just listening to uh fucking tank music earlier. Disney melody, bro. Yeah, we did a whole Disney fucking plethora before we got on this podcast.

SPEAKER_06

Aw, cute.

SPEAKER_00

We did that Mulon song where it's like, I'll make a man.

SPEAKER_06

Let's get down to business. Yeah, that one.

SPEAKER_00

Two to feet. Never beating allegations. Oh no, no, for sure not. Our downstairs favorite things for flavors.

SPEAKER_06

When I ask for sons.

SPEAKER_00

Four sons. You're the saddest I've ever met. And you haven't got a clue.

SPEAKER_05

How do you dude?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so Zoro cuts down like a hundred assassins.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that was fucking crazy. And he just like blind.

SPEAKER_00

No lose.

SPEAKER_04

Two. Three. Four.

SPEAKER_06

Seventeen. How'd you get there? How'd you know? I was trying to keep up with him too. I was like, is it really gonna be that many? And I was like counting in my head too, and then I lost track and I was like, ah, fuck.

SPEAKER_00

Apparently the stud team really did do 99 assassins plus Mr. Nine, which makes a hundred.

SPEAKER_02

I like the way that at the end of the balls on the wall.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. I like the way that at the end of that, though, he killed Mr. Nine, or at least defeated him, and he was like 99. And then the dude came from behind real quick to try to catch him unexpectedly. I like that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. I liked also the way that he was like talking to like I forget his name, but the Spanish guy. He was like talking to him the whole time. Yeah, like the apparition.

SPEAKER_00

You're talking about uh Dracul Miawk?

SPEAKER_06

Sure, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I guess he does kind of look like a conquistador ass fool. Spanish guy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he looks like a conquistad conquistador.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I never pictured him as Spanish, but it makes sense. He's definitely a member of that vampire race. What do you mean? It's it's the mustache, bro.

SPEAKER_06

He looks he looks Spanish as fuck.

SPEAKER_05

His clothes like he looks like he looks like he straight up was like, hello. My name is how much of this conversation prepare for that.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I mean, even he talks with like a a British accent though. He's like, Your grandson. You know, your grandson would cross the grand line.

SPEAKER_06

It's called Colonel.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I can't even do this right now. This is too deep of a conversation. That laboon scene made me cry. That's okay.

SPEAKER_06

I was talking, I was talking before this, I was talking about like World War II and like Japanese internment camps and stuff like this. Like Japan. What what do the Japanese learn about World War II? Like, we know what the Germans learn, but what do the Japanese learn? And I looked it up and I was watching some videos, and apparently it's about it's not about like what they learn overall, because the way that education is doled out in Japan is not like an overall entity, it is more like by where you are versus like what Japan as a whole is teaching. Because like Japan as a whole does not teach one curriculum, it is like the curriculum is decided like based in the specific communities that you live in. So like there are some textbooks, there are some textbooks that say stuff like, and then the US came and bombed us with atomic bombs for literally no reason at all.

SPEAKER_00

Oh damn.

SPEAKER_06

In some places, and then there's other things that are a little bit more accurate and like explain things a little bit more fully.

SPEAKER_01

Damn Hiroshima deniers.

SPEAKER_00

That's wild. I never would have. I mean, I guess they say that the history books are written by the winners of the war, right? But I mean we're not gonna micromanage what the I hate to put it this way, but what the losers, you know, teach themselves.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like we control the narrative from our end, but uh I guess I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

For sure. But anyway, the freaking whale though?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I cried. Bro. I cried. I also teared that.

SPEAKER_06

I was sad. I didn't cry. I will say that. I didn't cry, but I was really sad.

SPEAKER_00

You cried at the last episode, you told me.

SPEAKER_06

I did I did cry. And the No, it wasn't the last episode. It was the episode before the last episode.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, the one that I said was gonna be boring.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. You literally, as I started watching it, you were like, episode seven's gonna fucking suck.

SPEAKER_05

It's the most boring episode in the world, nothing fucking happens, it's so fucking boring, blah blah blah blah blah.

SPEAKER_06

But like, literally, I was on the couch clutching my fucking like blanky and like sobbing like a baby back bitch, and I was like, the poor baby, you don't be mean.

SPEAKER_01

He is lots of family. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you've never seen the anime, right?

SPEAKER_06

Nah, fuck that shit. Are you kidding me? The thousand episodes? Hard to see.

SPEAKER_00

How are you gonna say fuck the series that inspired what you're watching right now?

SPEAKER_06

Did you hear anything I just said?

SPEAKER_00

Say it again. Nah, because when I hear fuck that, it automatically puts me in the defense mode.

SPEAKER_06

I said, fuck that shit. Are you kidding me? A thousand episodes? I ain't got the attention span for that shit. I have heard, however, that Netflix is supposed to be supposedly coming out with a fucking like adaptation that is more accurate to the manga. And once that comes out, then I will 1,000% watch that. But I am not trying to go through all of the pillar.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's still a thousand, you know. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Still a thousand chapters of material.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway, B2 Dress Rosa by episode 200. That's a significant difference. Episode 200 is like barely the end of Alabaster or something like that. You know? So they're gonna be like rushing to also. I don't know if it's Netflix. I think it might be Toei, like the company. I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

But somebody said something about something. Anyway, Fats was going to make a point.

SPEAKER_00

And Usopp.

SPEAKER_01

And I would love to hear Fats' point. Did you see that? I did see that Usopp was white.

SPEAKER_00

Um they've been gradually whitewashing him.

SPEAKER_01

What I was saying was like the specific episode that I think that we're talking about. We see that like every couple of chapters when it comes to uh the straw hat that coincides with that person. Um so for us, it's like fuck, we get to have we're gonna have to see this shit again, like but it's like the fourth time we're watching this dude cry. Um and yeah, it's emotional.

SPEAKER_06

So basically, what you're saying is like what made me super emotional was like essentially like Cheese Bro's reaction, and like I call him Cheese Bro. I can't fucking ever remember his name.

SPEAKER_00

Oh the French dude from My Hero Academia?

SPEAKER_06

Nah. No, but that's cheese guy then. No. Cheese guy, the lightning guy from fucking Demon Slayer who's always crying and shit. Cheese like the first guy.

SPEAKER_01

Why is he a cheese guy? Why is it to a cheese guy?

SPEAKER_06

Because his because his his cloak looks like cheese.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. Danny, I love you so much.

SPEAKER_00

It's like she's referencing it like it's a culturally known thing, and it's just too good for herself.

SPEAKER_04

Are you gonna look at me and tell me I'm wrong?

SPEAKER_01

That's the whole thing. You're not wrong.

SPEAKER_05

Exactly! That's what I'm saying. He came down in a bubble, dude.

SPEAKER_00

It's just the wicked witch of the West, bro. Fuck.

SPEAKER_04

She wore a crown.

SPEAKER_00

Hey bro, uh, did you get worried when Nami got sick?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Did you see how Nami got sick? You know what though? I think that spotted. I didn't actually see when she did. I didn't actually see when she did, but I did like I remember hearing that she got bit by some bug or some shit. But you know what actually made me super emotional in that that part though was like the way that Sanji reacted and how like how vulnerable he got in that situation. It was like very sweet.

SPEAKER_00

Like that he was just sad and tending to her, or what?

SPEAKER_06

No, when he was talking about like his time with his mom and like the whole reason why he started cooking in the first place.

SPEAKER_00

You have no idea.

SPEAKER_06

And he was like saying, like, yeah, he was saying like the only reason why I even started cooking was because she was sick and like we didn't have a lot of food, so I would like make food and it was like the worst stuff ever. And nobody would try my food, but she would eat it with a smile on her face. And I was like, oh my god, that's so sweet.

SPEAKER_00

And now you're dying, Nami, so all I can do is give you my food, and no matter how good it is, it won't keep you from being sick.

SPEAKER_06

I know. Oh my gosh, I have a question. Okay, so this this is like going back to me not being like a like an actual like fan of the show, the like real show. What I guess it's a two-part question. Are there any couples that actually do happen in the show? And what are the common and most favored ships in the fandom?

SPEAKER_00

So there are relationships that definitely happen, and then there's ones that people like speculate, or like that are one-sided. Like, for example, there's I won't tell her name, but there's some sort of Empress that really loves Luffy and she's convinced that she's gonna marry him, and he is so apathetic. Yeah, he's just derpy, he doesn't see it at all. And anytime he shows her any kind of positivity, she just melts, and everybody in the community wants to see that happen, but as someone who knows Luffy, the likelihood of that is like zero. You know?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I feel like I feel like if I were to like if I were to speculate upon Luffy's sexuality, I would almost characterize him as an asexual person.

SPEAKER_00

I think he 100% is that. He's never shown I shouldn't say never. There's one time where a shape-shifting character sh turns into Nami and then flashes everyone her boobs, even though that's not really Nami. And everybody goes, What the fuck? Including Luffy in that scene. But other than that one specific time, Luffy's never been shown interested in any sort of romance. Yeah. Um, but there are characters like Siffon and Oh.

SPEAKER_01

What's her husband's name? Vega?

SPEAKER_00

Um Siffon's husband? Uh no, it's the gang Veggie guy. Veggie. Capone.

SPEAKER_01

Veggie Campone. I thought it was Vega Campone. Um Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You're thinking of Vegapunk.

SPEAKER_01

Honestly, I don't think there's any other couples. Any other no, no couples. It's to me, the the overall loving theme of One Piece is found family. Um just because there's a lot of looseness when it comes to biological ties. Um, but there's a lot of strength when it comes to uh people making their own familial bonds, such as, you know, with the cruise, you got your Nakama, and you got um freaking uh you devouting yourself to people with the sake ritual. Um I don't think she's gotten that far. Oh well I mean that's just that's just Japanese.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you share a drink with somebody, your brother's now, you know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, exactly. Um so I think that's more the uh relationship building in in the One Piece universe, um especially like for the Straw Hats. You see Nami as that big sister role, and then the guys are just idiots, and then Chopper, um, he's you know the the baby brother of the group. Right. The the infant that kind of needs to be watched over. Totally. And then when you add the other characters, um later on.

SPEAKER_00

Like a big brother?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Zoro's definitely big brother. Yeah, he he already smokes, um, he has a leather jacket, he drives a car. It's like a lot. He's a big brother, bro.

SPEAKER_00

He's uh unmarried with Sanji, and they're living in an apartment, dual income, no kids, they're dinks.

SPEAKER_01

Hey bro.

SPEAKER_00

Aside from the kids, that's us.

SPEAKER_01

You're on the money, bro. So are we brothers or lovers? Danny, what help help us out here? Hello? For who?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, oh she stopped listening for two seconds and it turned gay without her.

SPEAKER_06

Who are we talking about? It's Zorro and who?

SPEAKER_00

Zorro and Sanji.

SPEAKER_06

Oh no, they fucking hate each other.

SPEAKER_00

Well, people ship them all the time.

SPEAKER_06

Oh no, yeah, I get it. Yeah. Smoke burnt. I get it. I I fucking get that. I totally get that. Yeah, let's ship them. And then you know who I always thought it's the It's the fucking like enemies to lovership. Like, we the the reason why they hate each other so much is because there's so much sexual tension that they fucking can't like they cannot stop themselves from wanting to get at it. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'm trying to like actually pull up a thing of the characters so that way I'm like not just like, and then this character, and then that character. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

All you have to do is describe. We'll give you all the characters. Yeah, we mostly know. Okay. I don't want you to do something. Here's the thing.

SPEAKER_06

I perceived possibly incorrectly, but also like a little bit concernedly the way that the way that the princess and huh?

SPEAKER_00

Princess Vivi?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. So Princess Vivi and her like Wednesday? Her her yeah, Miss Wednesday, and her fucking like guard who dies in a crazy fiery extreme.

SPEAKER_00

You thought they were romantic, huh?

SPEAKER_06

I the way that they're portrayed in the show is very it feels very romantic, and it was it really started to gross me out because like he knew her since kid. Yeah, and it felt like a grooming type of situation. And it was it felt like it was like this feels romantic. A thousand percent it feels romantic. The way that she came up to him and how fucked up she was about his death, like I get that like if it was seen as a father figure, but the way that she came up to him when she first saw him, the way that She was like a lover. When yes, when when Luffy walked in and like he was like like trying to get some fucking like sweets or whatever, and he saw them, like that was weird. Like that was weird. That was a hundred percent. I didn't and I didn't know their relationship yet. I was a hundred percent like, oh, they fuck it.

SPEAKER_00

Like yeah, in the anime and the manga, they are it's very visible that they're not the same age. I feel like in the live action they made it look like his hair thing was a wig, but but like in the original character, he clearly had grey hair, so it's like, oh, he's old. Um but yeah, in the show, the actors seem so close in age that Yeah. I was watching it with uh this girl.

SPEAKER_06

Until you start to like see that you're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_00

She thought the exact same thing. Yeah. It's supposed to be like a like you said, like an uncle or something. But yeah, the actors themselves, maybe there was some sort of unspoken attraction between the actors, and that's why that happened that way. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_06

Maybe. Or maybe, but I didn't like it.

SPEAKER_00

Hollyweird. Oh yeah, it could be them trying to subliminally, you know, dumb us down towards the idea of the street.

SPEAKER_06

The Epstein The Epstein files get released, and then they're like, hey guys, it's okay. Everything's okay.

SPEAKER_01

It's okay to like children. This is normal, you know.

SPEAKER_06

No, it's so weird because like I it it's kind of funny. So I was just having this conversation with Tara too, because um we were talking about uh like today at lunch, I had some kids that were talking about how age is just a number. And I was like, nah, nah, you don't that's not how that works, you guys. And they're like No, it's just a it's just a number, it's fine, it's fine. And then one kid was like, Billy Eilish could get it, and I was like, Okay, cool, cool, cool. But then you get to a certain age and you look back and you reflect and you realize how wrong it is. Like it's not okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because in one direction seems a certain way until it's going the other direction. Young people wanna jump on older people's bones all the time. But obviously, once you're older, you realize how gross it is.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, unless you're a weird fucking predator. Um, and then I was talking to Tara about that, and she goes, she was talking about how like she's like, Yeah, but like like at what point is it like inappropriate? Because like, is it wrong for a 30-year-old to be with a 50-year-old? And I was like, Yes. Yes, it's wrong. It's fucking weird.

SPEAKER_00

Because just like you said, with Igorum and Vivi, if we didn't see them together at a weird, awkward age gap, we wouldn't have felt weird about the romance, because they're both adults, at least at this point. But because we saw him fully fucking grown with a five o'clock shadow and she's six, you know what I mean? That's fucking weird.

SPEAKER_06

I get what you're saying, but at the same time, what does a 30-year-old and a 50-year-old have in common?

SPEAKER_01

My mom, like uh her boyfriend, they had a 20, I think 20-year age gap. Um, it was it was actually super uh super weird because I we would, you know, me and my siblings, we would joke around like, oh, that's that's your fucking dad, lady. Um just because you know she doesn't know her father and she was born in Ohio. Um this man who was 20 years her younger lived in Ohio around the time she was born. Um and you know, kids are just gonna be kids, so we would poke poke fun, but like in all reality, like it's kind of gross. Like not gross, but it's a little it's a little strange.

SPEAKER_06

It's fucking weird. My dad's my dad's wife is just a few years older than me.

SPEAKER_01

That's weird.

SPEAKER_06

And then my wife's my wife's dad's wife is her high school ex-girlfriend.

SPEAKER_01

Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Tara's dad's ex-wife.

SPEAKER_06

Current wife.

SPEAKER_01

Current wife is Tara's ex-girlfriend.

SPEAKER_06

From high school. They were in high school together and they dated.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, go ahead and clock out. Clock out. Where's your badge at? Put your badge on the table, man.

SPEAKER_06

It's fucking weird. And I and I was straight up like, can you tell me like at any point, like that for 100% that there was no grooming involved to like establish that relationship? She will say straight up, like, there wasn't. And I will let her stand on that business how she wants to. But I'll turn to like the example of my dad and her his wife. Like, how does a 30-year-old become interested in a 50-year-old? Like, I at what point does that happen without any kind of coercion? Like, I don't understand that. And then if it if it wasn't if it wasn't in that specific relationship, if it's not the current relationship, so if it wasn't my dad who like coerced his current wife to be with her, at what point in her life did she go through something to make her interested or like attracted to older men? What trauma did she go through that made that okay? Because that is what is like that is what makes me wonder. Because like, there's no way. Like, I I'm sorry, but like you don't have anything in common with somebody that's 20 years or you're older.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not dating this person, but I've been talking to you know a couple of different people since I've been comfortable enough to start sort of talking to people again, uh, dancing around the idea of possibly dating. And one of the people I'm talking to is someone like pretty much exactly my age. The other person I'm talking to is 55. Um so yeah, they are more than 20 years older than me. And I'll tell you, at least from my personal, you know, feelings about the situation, I do feel like we have a lot of differences. I feel like she doesn't get half of my jokes, she doesn't know half of the things that I'm into, but we're still able to like come together, have a good time, have a good lunch, talk about our families, talk about our emotions and things like that, and we find each other attractive. So I don't think people necessarily need to have all of the checks on the box, you know what I'm saying, in order to just be entertained by someone's presence necessarily. I will be completely transparent and say, I have not been sexual with this person yet. So maybe that bridge was never crossed because of exactly what you're talking about. But as far as being interested, I think anyone can be interested in anyone as long as you can vibe with them, you know. I don't think it's okay, obviously, in the other direction, but speaking for me, like, yeah, she's over 20 years older than me, and I don't know, if the opportunity was there, I'd probably make a move, you know.

SPEAKER_01

But I was seeing that girl, um, and she was I think eight years. She was a couple years older than you. Um, like more than a couple.

SPEAKER_00

So over 10 year difference for you.

SPEAKER_01

No, only only about 10 years. Okay. Um, because we're like four or two. How old are you back then?

SPEAKER_06

Me, I'm oh my god, you a baby.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and this this lady, like, I just she wouldn't understand my humor. Like, I just it just wasn't it wasn't it. And like sometimes on I know he doesn't understand, you know, some of my humor, but it's just because we're on two different uh, you know, brackets of the internet, you know. Like, I remember Vines, definitely. Um, I can quote Vines, but are you guys gonna be able to quote fucking the latest TikToks? Like, do you know what the birthday is?

SPEAKER_06

Danny does, yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Danny could probably go talk for tick. Danny, you know the birthday.

SPEAKER_06

I will say I don't I'm not on that like uh Gen Alpha fucking garbage bullshit. And I will also say that my TikTok is mostly Gen Alpha is your brother. Yes, Gen Alpha is your brother. Um I will say also, like, my TikTok is mostly like teacher talk and politics and like book talk. So but yeah, I don't know. I I just say like personally, I cannot get behind uh an age gap at any point. I think they are weird and like gross and like I just I don't know, I could never like fat what Fats was saying, it's just not it. Like what how do you how do you be with somebody, especially emotionally and like fully, like when you think about like the actual relationship, if that's the goal, if you think about the actual relationship, how do you form a full relationship, a bond with somebody who does not like is not capable of seeing the world through your eyes in the way that you have experienced it. Like if you think about it like look at the way that my dad and like his wife have grown up. My dad grew up in the 70s, and she grew up in like the 90s and 2000s. Whoa, those are completely different childhood. Like she had technology and other things, like as she's growing up, he did not, like he had a completely different kind of childhood, and it's like the same way as you think about like when you think about those things and the way that like those huge cultural differences changed your perception of the world. How do you then bond with someone on a deep level? Like it it I to me it does not compute, um, because like the perception is just so different, even the way that the generations handle politics is incredibly different, like the way that Gen Z is handling what's going on in the world right now is very different than the way that even Millennials did, and the way that Millennials did is completely different than the way Gen X did, and the way that Gen X did is way different than the way Boomers did, you know? So like it's very different. Our values as generations change are like I mean I don't know everything is so different, so I could never I don't know. That's just my thoughts on the matter. Well heard it. Anyway, Princess Vivi, I really hope that you won't you weren't fucking your guard.

SPEAKER_00

Nah, and honestly, that dude is dead as fuck. Like he hella dead as a bad. There's a big difference between the anime manga and the game.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know why that booger was so much more powerful than all the other.

SPEAKER_00

That was the strongest booger he flicked in the entire shit. Yeah, even though. They killed the living shit out of him.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, just wait for season three.

SPEAKER_00

There's bigger booger. There's more baseball themed villains.

SPEAKER_06

Also, gross ass fucking power.

SPEAKER_00

Gross ass power. Which power is?

SPEAKER_06

I'm surprised you did to see dinosaurs.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, dinosaurs.

SPEAKER_06

That was fucking giants. That was so weird.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's disappointed that they only did one dinosaur instead of two, because in the anime, instead of them because in the live action they both take down a T-Rex, right? But in the anime, uh Sanji takes down a triceratops and Zoro takes down a T-Rex, and they're both like identical in size, and they argue about which one is bigger, but in this one, it's like they only have the budget for one dinosaur.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You know, other than the one Luffy wrote.

SPEAKER_06

Um yeah, I I will say this fucking show is weird as shit. Like it's it's giving um a little bit. Have you ever seen Gumball? Yeah, of course. You know how Gumball has like no specific artistic style. Right. It's everything culminating. Yeah, and the story is weird as shit and so on and so forth. That's what this show kinda gives. Like, there's you never know what the fuck is happening. You never know what you're gonna come across. Like, it's weird as shit. Like, oh, dinosaurs, no worries. Next time, we're in space. We're having a fucking, we're having a fucking uh what's that goddamn what's that fucking uh who's the the magic school bus lady? Miss Frizzle Miss Frizzle We're having a Miss Frizzle fucking episode. We're in the fucking whale's stomach today. Like, who knows?

SPEAKER_00

Or not Luffy. One piece goes very far out of its way to remain wacky.

SPEAKER_06

Next time.

SPEAKER_00

Like from the very beginning all the way until now, it tries to like literally, there's a carpenter character that keeps nails in his nose. That's so unconventional. Like, they go out of their way to make things weird on purpose, but in the craziest way, if you get to like where the anime is caught up to, there's almost a slight explanation as to why everything's so weird. You know what I mean? There's this thing about imagination and dreams and and what it is you personally believe.

SPEAKER_06

It's actually just a world built by SpongeBob.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, you never know, man. The one piece could be anything. This is a perfect opportunity to ask you, Danny. Even though we've only touched on a handful of things in season two, at this point in the story, what do you think the one piece is? Because that's what Luffy's after, right? One piece of ass.

SPEAKER_06

Is that a hot piece of ass? I don't know, dude. Like, fuck. I don't know. Maybe some mind control bullshit. I don't know. Maybe like a fucking medallion. Maybe he's gonna be out here like fucking flavor flav with a big ass clock around his neck.

SPEAKER_00

Like, so you think the one piece is a physical thing? You don't think it's gonna be the friends and adventures you made along the way?

SPEAKER_06

Maybe, maybe he gonna go to space and there's gonna be an alien, and the alien gonna touch him right in the middle of the forehead, like some Avatar of the Last Airbender bullshit, and he's gonna get some like whole fucking knowledge bullshit. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Enlightened Luffy? I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. I don't know, bro.

SPEAKER_00

That's your theory. It's your theory.

SPEAKER_01

I I personally like that theory. I like the idea of going to space. I like the idea of enlightened. I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

I just want to see astronauts more mature.

SPEAKER_01

Hell yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

We're going to the moon today.

SPEAKER_00

So, who's your favorite character at this point?

SPEAKER_06

I think last season I said my favorite character was Zorro, didn't I?

SPEAKER_00

Maybe. You said you liked his titties.

SPEAKER_06

I think I did.

SPEAKER_00

Titties are good.

SPEAKER_06

He he's he's my favorite to look at.

SPEAKER_01

Nice.

SPEAKER_06

But I think this this season. Honestly, I think Sanji became my favorite.

SPEAKER_00

Nice. I love Sanji. I identify with Sanji.

SPEAKER_06

I think I think he became my favorite because he's like emotionally intelligent. He is like also kind of like sexy.

SPEAKER_00

And he like the He's also a badass, bro. Remember when he fought the fucking vulture and otter with a machine gun?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that was funny. And then he's like just picking up the phone, like, oh, just please hold for a second.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And he made his own.

SPEAKER_06

And the way he fights is pretty cool. Yeah. The way he fights is kind of cool, like how he only fights with his feet.

SPEAKER_00

Hell yeah. So have you found have you found out the um what's the word I'm looking for? Have you found out the pattern of the show yet? You know, like they go to a new island, they discover new things, they meet a friend, they bring that friend with them.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's it's yeah, it's like Scooby-Doo.

SPEAKER_00

Is there anybody along the way that you thought was gonna join, or even that you might think now is gonna be like a new member of the crew? You know what I'm saying? Like, do you have any predictions of who might join or who might not join?

SPEAKER_06

Um like further down the road?

SPEAKER_00

Um, yeah, or right where we're at, you know what I mean? Like sure Chopper went with him, but like you think Chopper's gonna be the whole ride?

SPEAKER_06

I love Chopper. I hope so. Um, I will say that uh the like the hot but weird, like extra armed gal with the with the with the cherry with the cherry blossoms.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she kind of looks like a librarian. What? No. Yeah, she looks like a cowgirl. She has like the glasses.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she looks like a cowgirl. She looks like a cowgirl.

SPEAKER_00

She does not have a did she have glasses on her this season?

SPEAKER_01

Maybe not.

SPEAKER_00

She's still missing all Sunday right now.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I'm just going to weird libraries, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Ancient black. I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Uh, but yeah, no, she she's giving at the moment, she is giving rogue a little bit, like undercover rogue. Like, I'm gonna pretend like I am doing what what is his like zero? Is it zero or no? Mr. Zero, yeah. Mr. Zero. She's like giving, I'm gonna pretend like I'm doing what Mr. Zero wants me to do, but I secretly have my own agenda, and I'm gonna do whatever I need to do to fulfill that agenda, and she very well might go like further on and maybe uh possibly collab with the straw hat crew to fulfill her agenda and then like go into it kind of like Nami did with the like all for one kind of thing where it's like I'm just doing whatever I need to do for my agenda, but then the straw hat crew is gonna do what they what they do and like find out what the agenda is and like assist with the agenda and be like Ayo, you you are bud, let us help you, kind of thing. I don't know. That's kind of just like a theory.

SPEAKER_00

I will neither confirm nor deny it, but I love the idea of Miss All Sunday going on shenanigans with the crew. That sounds like it would be fun.

SPEAKER_06

Mm-hmm. Yeah, but that's that's just like a thing I don't I don't really know of anybody else like that I could think of that has shown up so far.

SPEAKER_00

I never would have wanted the whale to go. See whale, that would have been sick.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I really wanted that.

SPEAKER_00

Especially kidding me. The only reason he couldn't come before is because they thought he would get eight, but now he's big. Why didn't they bring him?

SPEAKER_01

He probably sits more whale. It's just a regular baloo whale, bro. Like, there's so many monsters and actual monsters.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, bro. Eat whale for dinner, bro. They're done.

SPEAKER_00

Did you notice the picture? So you remember the old guy that was there with the whale, Danny? Did you notice that uh he had a picture of him with uh with Gold Roger, the old king of the pirates?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's cool. I love the the lore that they're building with Roger because uh we don't really know too much about him at this point in the story. And they're adding a lot of things in early. Yeah, he beeping popping up all over the place.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he beeping.

SPEAKER_00

That him and keep like a lot of like waiting that him and Kareja, like uh he seems to have a lot of connections with the old generation, even Luffy's grandpa, right?

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00

Um, on the same topic of the whale, what did you think of the pirates that Laboon was originally with? Did you fuck with the way that they were like basically a traveling band?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I thought that was kind of cool. Like, it that that do be a thing. Like bards and shit.

SPEAKER_00

I really liked the guy who was playing the violin to Laboon. He was great.

SPEAKER_06

I thought the overall the season was like pretty well we're we're at about an hour and we're about 40 minutes past my bedtime.

SPEAKER_00

Oh damn and you be calling it at 8. I mean I know you be like turning in early, but I figure at least live.

SPEAKER_06

Bro. Bro. So I have to chaperone prom on Saturday.

SPEAKER_00

Damn, prom is already now.

SPEAKER_06

Could you guess it is already now? Could you guess? Take a wild guess when prom ends. Like what time does prom end?

SPEAKER_00

Probably like 2 a.m. if it's a bunch of seniors.

SPEAKER_06

The fuck? No.

SPEAKER_00

Nah, it's probably like 11.

SPEAKER_06

A school sanctioned fucking thing? Nah. 11.30 though.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think I yeah, I didn't end up going to prom. 1130. Yeah, that's not that bad. But for you, for you, that's a little bad.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. 11.30. I've been complaining all day, like, because I just found out basically that I have to do prom and I just found out like today what time it ends. And I was complaining all day, and I was like, oh my god, I'm already upset about what time I'm gonna be going to bed on Saturday. And like they were like, the kids were asking me, like, what time do you usually go to bed? And I was like, eight o'clock. And they were like, Bro, are you some kind of grandma? And I was like, How do you think I stay looking so young and beautiful? And then this one kid turns to me and he goes, Well, um, he goes, I've been staying up till like one o'clock in the morning every day. And I look at him and I'm like, Yeah. And that's why you look the way that you do. Fuck.

SPEAKER_00

Just roasting these kids in real time just because you don't want to stay up.

SPEAKER_06

They be roasting me too. They be roasting me.

SPEAKER_00

Well, do you have yeah? Do you have any final thoughts on One Piece as a whole or anything you'd like to see in season three?

SPEAKER_06

I think it's great. I'd love to see a shortened version of the anime.

SPEAKER_00

Um there is one. The manga. Uh yeah. The anime is longer than the manga. And you're a reader, anyways. You would get halfway through one piece in a week.

SPEAKER_06

Or you can see. Yeah, probably, but it would have to it would see the problem I have with manga is how expensive it is.

SPEAKER_00

You don't have you can literally download the the Viz app, right? Viz or Shonen Jump app, and then you can just scroll for free. Unless it's the newest 20 chapters, I'm pretty sure the entire Thing is there.

SPEAKER_06

I've never heard of that app before.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Viz Media and Shonen Jump. They're the two like top manga uh people.

SPEAKER_06

I will have to look into those.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, most of the time.

SPEAKER_06

But yeah, overall I think it's pretty good. I like it. I'm interested. I think it's dope.

SPEAKER_00

Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Banana bread.

SPEAKER_05

Anyway, Fats, it's been fun.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, if you guys like One Piece and like listening to us talk about a bunch of stuff, including One Piece, fucking like, share, and subscribe and do all the things and give us ratings and fucking shit.

SPEAKER_06

Leave us a comment. Give us some stars.

SPEAKER_00

You've played the music and everything, and and this is like the like ending little snippet, like fun fact, little like in the background. Little secret post credit scene. Yeah, little secret post credit. Do you remember uh like in third grade when we went to go uh to the uh the Maidu uh like reservation and whatever, like yeah, so like or maybe it was fourth grade or something. I can't remember. Yeah, and then like I remember being on that, like remember we went on the little hikey walk thing, and it was like it there was like a literal like sidewalk, but it was like we were on the walk, and I don't remember if you were like in the same group as us or if it was different groups or what, but we were walking and we had to stop, like, because there was a fucking mountain line that literally like it was like 15 feet in front of us, and we had to fully stop so that way it could cross the path, and it was just like a sidewalk in the middle of like the like dead ass grassy fields and shit, and like we had to like sit there and be silent as shit, and I swear to god, I wanted to piss myself so bad I was so scared.

SPEAKER_00

But like crazy. I don't remember that at all.

SPEAKER_06

I must have yeah, so we must have been in different groups. Yeah, we must have been in different groups. You might have been like Yeah, you might have been like in the gift shop or something.
