Welcome back to another filler episode.
SPEAKER_02I didn't interrupt you this time.
SPEAKER_01We did not interrupt you. We're trying to use a new uh like platform today. So if there is shit wrong with it, then that's why we'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if the quality drops, y'all just gonna have to have patience with us while we work out the kinks because doing new things can sometimes be complicated. But so far it seems way better than the way we've been doing it. So this might be it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, for sure. Um, but yeah, so anyway, uh little update on our happenings. Um, I am on the first official day of summer vacation. Woo!
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. You're the bed you're the potato in the bed that you sent me.
SPEAKER_01It's funny because I actually haven't been that at all today. Um, because we went camping over the weekend, right? And so this morning when I woke up, we still didn't unpack the car yesterday. And so I unpacked the car, and then I was like, I really want to get some cereal. So then I went to go get some cereal, and then I was like just walking around the Walmart and just getting some other shit at the Walmart. Um, they had some like clearance tank tops, and I need some tank tops because it's fucking hot. So I thought some tank tops. It's like 95 degrees out here, dude. Yeah. Um and I'm going to like a book ball on Saturday, right? Um, I think I showed you that corset that I made out of hot glue.
SPEAKER_02Yes, very impressive.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and so uh there's gonna be like they're they're giving us some like um what's it called? Some friendship bracelets, like when we walk in the door and stuff. So I was like, maybe I should like make some friendship bracelets. It'll be like kind of like a rave where I can like hand out some friendship bracelets. So I like got some letters because I have some I have like colors and stuff, but I was like running a little low on letters, and I thought it would be cute to just get like some matching letters. So I got some like little gold letters, and then um I needed some glue and stuff like that. So I went there and then I was like, Oh, I should swing by uh Michael's because BD got her dress, but it needs something in the middle, but like not like a full corset moment, but like maybe like a belt or something. I don't know. So I was like, I'm I need to make something for her to like complete her outfit, and then um, so I went and looked at some beads and stuff like that, and then I was like, shit, I also forgot you got some beads for bitty out.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you got some bd beads.
SPEAKER_01Since I'm already out, I need to do my hair, so I had to go to Sally's to get some hair dye, and so then I finally got home, and guess what I fucking forgot.
SPEAKER_02What?
unknownMilk.
SPEAKER_02Oh, the main thing you the thing you went for.
SPEAKER_01I got cereal, I just forgot milk for my cereal.
SPEAKER_02This reminds me of Seinfeld where he's all the very pants you were meant to return.
SPEAKER_01I was very upset.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So while I was waiting for you to log in, I was sitting here putting together some like little bracelet things, and I got bookish bitch, I got full cafe, I got dark romance, and I got please kidnap me.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, dark romance is a pretty classy, pretty classy one.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's awesome, dude. Yeah, I've been um I have been binging the fuck out of Yu-Gi-Oh! all night long because I'm switching from days to nights. So, like, uh I had a strong desire to watch the ending of Yu-Gi-Oh! because there's so many damn episodes, and as a kid, I was super into it, and then in my adult life, as you know, I've been like getting back into the cards and stuff. So I was like, you know what? How dare I call myself a fan when I don't even know how this shit ends, you know? So I looked online where all the filler was and skipped all the filler. Turns out Yu-Gi-Oh! only has three arcs that are canon in the manga, and I seen the first two. So I skipped the first two that I've seen, and I skipped all the way to the last one, which is called the Millennium World, where they basically go to the past and they find out that the spirit of the puzzle is black. Dude, everybody's black in the final season. I fucking love it. Like, Kaiba's black, Bakura's black, everybody's black. Dark Magician Girl is black magician girl. It's great. Um, and it's so freaking like interesting. Like, I know you don't fuck with Yu-Gi-Oh! like that, but you think it's about cards and monsters, but in reality, it's about like freaking human sacrifice and uh people getting revenge for the fall of their clans and like and you know the sins of the father following the next generation, and it was just so good. And by the end of it, you know, big spoilers, even though the show's been out for 25 years, fucking Yugi has to defeat himself in order to like move on to the afterlife because he's like an ancient spirit. So through the whole show, the spirit is like guiding him how to be the best duelist and the best like game master. But then in the end, I love the yeah. Uh four kids covered both of these series though, and censorship should be a big thing I bring up because the final villain, other than Yugi fighting himself, uh, which I love the the symbolism in that, you know. Um the final villain is a giant demon with a dragon dick.
SPEAKER_03A giant demon with a dragon dick.
SPEAKER_02I s I sent you the little video clip of him walking around swinging a dragon dick. But four kids censored it, bro. They they made it hella crazy where like his neck connects to the real neck, so he just looks like a giant football. It's fucking hilarious. Anyways, what do they have?
SPEAKER_01They have uh dildos that are like just dragon dicks.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that sounds painful.
SPEAKER_01They're like ginormica, and I think they're called like like bad dragon dildos or something like that. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Throwing in bad doesn't change any part of it. Like I've seen some pretty massive, nasty stuff, but yeah, this one takes the cake because he'd be shooting fire blasts out of the tip. He'd be like, he fought Exodia, which is like basically God in their world, and when they fought, he had to stand at an angle so the dragon dick wasn't just all up in Exodia's face. Because they did the typical anime thing where they got like their fingers interlocked and they're pushing against each other, and I was just cracking up the whole time. It was so good. But yeah, I finally finished Yu-Gi-Oh! last night. I stayed up till uh like three um because I had to, and then uh So I'm guessing that means that you didn't watch the anime that I told you to watch. No, I did, and I loved it. You did? I watched I watched it this morning because I woke up before the alarm. It's kind of hard to sleep in while the sun is shining. Um so I was watching it while we were texting, and I fucking love it, dude.
SPEAKER_01Like um Isn't it cute? It's cute.
SPEAKER_02It's called Marriage Marriage Toxin.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it's like it's cute, funny, but there's also like some like like action. Gay so it is gay, too. It is gay, it is gay, but like you don't realize that it's gay because you like she she be looking like a girl and she'd be dressing like a girl pretty much the entire time, so then you forget that it's not a girl.
SPEAKER_02Totally. And I love um marriage, so it's called marriage toxin, right? I love you're right about the action because sometimes in some of these shows, like because it's all based on characters and story, and it's not about power systems and blowing up planets, like a lot of the time there's not a big budget because they're just standing across from each other talking. But dude, when the action kicks in, the budget goes ham. Like, dude's dodging bullets like the Matrix, he cut a fucking car in half. Like, I I watched only the first episode, but goddamn, I'm not gonna lie, I'm very, very interested.
SPEAKER_01And the cool thing about it There's an episode, um, so okay, so like kind of like what was the anime that we watched recently where like was it One Piece or was it something else entirely? But there was something that we watched recently where it was like someone was able to be like you could be like a power of with anything. I think it was One Piece that we were talking about, but you could have like basically anything be your power, right? I mean One Piece is kind of like that, but I'm not sure which uh I I think that's what we're talking about, but that's kind of that's kind of like the the the idea behind this show as well is like essentially anything like you can be a master of anything. And so like they have like five major clans, which I don't know if they really get into. So far, I know that they have like the poison clan, the bug guy, and the beast clan. And like the beast clan, they can they can control like animals or bugs or like anything. Oh okay.
SPEAKER_02So the bug guy is not specifically bugs, he could do animals too.
SPEAKER_01Well, the bug guy is specifically bugs, but each person has their own specific niche that they do within that clan, I see. Within that clan, yeah. Um, and so and so like people do different things, so like within the poison clan, people probably have different things that they do within the poison clan. Um there's one master that is a master of sound.
SPEAKER_02Ooh.
SPEAKER_01And they have this like it's a two-episode battle in the forest.
SPEAKER_02Damn.
SPEAKER_01And it's it's actually like it's really fucking dope. It like they and I'm not trying to give like super spoilers away, but there's something that has to do with like um like a spirit where it like they give like it's not it doesn't it do it's not like there actually is a spirit, but there's like the impression of a spirit. And then it also gives like slightly like like the sound clan from Naruto vibes.
SPEAKER_02It's funny when you said sound powers in the forest, I instantly thought of uh Tayuya or whatever her name is.
SPEAKER_01Plus a little bit um of like that episode in Demon Slayer where they're fighting the spiders.
SPEAKER_02Hmm. Yeah, I remember the spider guys.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's a little bit of like a combination of that situation, but it's really cool. It's super duper cool.
SPEAKER_02Damn.
SPEAKER_01And the way he defines him is like very strange too. It's it's a very interesting episode, like two episodes. But yeah, definitely um suggest watching watching all of it because it's it's good. It's really good.
SPEAKER_02No, I it hooked me in the first episode, which doesn't always happen uh with me. Sometimes I feel like shows need two or three before I really get the full scope of what's going on. Um, but this one was very straight into the punch, super relatable, by the way. Like um, like the fact that he just girls, dude. Yeah, he just feels hopeless, and like he's like, Man, I'm getting older now. Like maybe I should just accept that I'm gonna be alone forever. And I'm like, dude, yeah, I can sort of relate to that. Like, sure, I I have people that I talk to from time to time, but none of it ever seems like a lifetime thing. Like my whole life, I always imagined I'd find somebody who was perfect for me. Like he said, someone who would ask me if I'm okay when I cough and like care about the things I care about, and and I don't know, man.
SPEAKER_01Um why did you say ask me if okay, if I'm okay when I'm cough? And like for some reason, I immediately thought of you like in a doctor's office, like getting your prostate exam or something.
SPEAKER_02Jesus Christ. All I said was cough, and you instantly envision a finger up my butt. Jesus Christ. But uh, well, we did talk about it a little while ago, but yeah, uh not fingers up by butt, but the whole prostate thing. Um dude, yeah, so the thing you said about the power system, I totally agree. Like, I've only seen three masters in the first episode, right? You got the poison guy who's the main guy, you got the bug dude who's like his his homie, which I hope we see more of him. I I loved the fact that even though he was gross, from the minute we saw him, he was gross. And then he instantly was like, Yeah, look at my cute ass wife. And we're like, Oh shit, like, good for you, bug guy.
SPEAKER_01I don't it was his fiance, right? Oh, okay, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because no spoilers, no spoiles.
SPEAKER_01It's not really a spoiler. It's not really a spoiler because he's saying, like, oh, this is my fiance. I'm getting there. There is a wedding episode.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's so great. Yeah, no, he was yeah, he was awesome, and I loved the fact that he was like, just because I'm getting married doesn't mean we're not gonna be besties. And I was like, Oh, look at these guys, man.
SPEAKER_01Like, and they're straight up there's a whole like backstory of that how their friendship developed and everything in the episode, and it's so cute.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, yeah, I would love to see that. I would love to see him young and with hair or something. Like, I don't know. I don't know what I'm gonna see, but I'm very interested in dude, not gonna lie. The the villain who like um who like tries to abduct, I don't know what their name is. I I don't know what either of their names are to be honest. I I just watched the first episode, so it's very fresh. But the one who presents feminine in order to okay. Um the one who presents as feminine gets like abducted because dude's trying to get revenge for the guy that they killed earlier. And um when he grabs them, like everything looks so like the budget skyrockets, dude. And he's drinking boba in the driver's seat, and I'm like, oh look, he's drinking boba, and it becomes relevant immediately because he opens his mouth and he's like, This isn't tapioca balls, it's fucking lead bullets or whatever. And I was like, Oh shit, like his power is like swallowing lead pellets and then regurgitating them at high fucking focused speeds so that he can basically turn his mouth into a gun. And I was like, bro, this is so interesting. And then he freaking chewed up the lead and broke it apart, and he's like, now I'm gonna hit you with a shotgun blast to the face. And I was like, Holy fuck, what a what a cool power! Like it's so simple, like it's so rooted in reality, it's not like one piece where arms are stretched. Well, not yet. I don't know how crazy it's gonna get, but like uh it seems so rooted in reality, um, but it's still so creative at the same time. And uh there are I don't know, I can really appreciate that.
SPEAKER_01There are no people with like there are no people with like animal faces or any weird shit like that, no stretchy arms or anything like that. Um I think out of all the villains, there's like I don't even know if I would call her a villain, but there's like one person that comes off a little bit like otherworldly, but she ends up having a sickness that he like cures. And she's like, Why would you do that? I tried to kill you, and he's like, Well, this sounds this seems inconvenient for you, so now you don't have to live with it. Hopefully that'll be enough to make you not be a bitch.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I was I was cracking up when um oh before I say that, I wanted to say this because I was thinking it as I was watching it. When I was looking at the characters, it's not so much well for for the one who presents feminine, like they totally remind me of Kitagawa from uh from My Dress Up, Darling, which I just finished recently, you know. Like her hair, uh Kitagawa's hair is like the exact same color and length.
SPEAKER_01A little bit, right? I like her moves though.
SPEAKER_02She does have several moles and they're very cute. Um but uh yeah, I was basically imagining that these two characters were like the amalgamation of the main cast from My Dress Up, Darling, and the main two characters from Spy Family. You know what I'm saying? Because like they're kind of like together, but they're not together, but like they have things that they want, but then there's things they're uncomfortable with, and like I don't know, man. You know, they're they're assassins, like uh I guess she's not, but he is. Um I don't know. There was there was a lot of things that I was seeing that were sort of nods towards other things I've watched, and I don't know if that was intentional, like maybe this person who created it was inspired by one or the other, or maybe it's just something I'm noticing because of you know my my recency bias of of you know watching these things, but yeah, dude, I was totally I was totally taken aback when uh they were setting him up on dates, and they're like, next time just look into her eyes and smile. And so he he's like he's all like creepy, and people were like leaving. He couldn't take bites of food at restaurants because since he's so used to poison, he was like, Poison masters aren't supposed to eat food that someone else gives them. How do I know I'm not about to die? Like uh, I was just I don't know. I was loving every step of the way. I wasn't too sure what it was gonna be, especially shows that have the word like marriage or like my romance in the in the title. Like, I don't always know how it's gonna go.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but like uh You just assumed it's probably gonna be like lame.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I'm all in. Like, first episode, I'm all in. Like, the f the fights look cool, the characters are funny, the str the plot is hella relatable, and oh my god, his sister is so hot. I I know she's she's a lesbian and she's in a relationship. I don't care. She's so fine. Like, the minute it showed her, I was like, oh, who is this waifu of the century? Let me let me Google the character name.
SPEAKER_01I feel like you would have learned your lesson. And speaking of learning your lesson and being like all in right within the first episode, I was not necessarily all in within the first episode of the anime that you had me watch.
SPEAKER_02Oh, Clevitus.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I did watch all of it. Sorry. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, it's good. Let's let's talk about Clevitess. I'm hella excited.
SPEAKER_01Um I think within the first episode I was messaging you and I was like, what the fuck is going on?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it doesn't all get really lined out in the first episode.
SPEAKER_01It takes like at least two It was a little bit confusing. Um but I was a little bit I think I uh was I was expecting big things because both you and uh that's what were like making it out to be like it was like the best thing.
SPEAKER_02And so I was like, I really liked it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you guys were like, oh, it's so good. Like we both cried. And I was like, I was like, oh, then it must be like hella good. Like, I don't know. So I was expecting quite a bit from it. And then, like, it just didn't deliver on that for me. Like, it wasn't bad at all. Um, it just wasn't like as fantastic as I thought it was gonna be. Fantastic. Yeah, it was like okay. So that happened. Um and like, so for like, for example, you were like, This was like, I was very surprised by this. Um, you were talking about the one gal who like you guys sexualized right away, and then you like immediately felt bad about and uh because you then you start learning her life, and I'm like, bro, she's like pushed down immediately, like immediate like the first scene that you see her in, she is literally knocked to the floor. How is that not your immediate reaction of what the fuck? Like, they're treating that bitch like shit.
SPEAKER_02Like it definitely was, but before she got knocked down, she walks past the camera and she got a big old booty, and that's not something we're used to seeing in anime. Like, I think the thing that made us prematurely sexualize her is the fact that like they went out of their way to make her a bit overweight, but overweight in Japan is just thick in America, if that makes any sense. So I think they were I think they were trying to go out of their way to make her like sort of less attractive for certain stereotypical standards, and we don't fit that criteria, so for us, we're like, oh my god, they're introducing a thick character, this is insane. And then seconds after we had that thought, yeah, she gets pushed to the ground, oh clean that up, bitch, and then they drag her out back and start punching her, and it's like, fuck, like what the fuck? So we we were taken aback. It's not like while she was getting abused, we were like, Oh yeah, yeah, but like then, of course, we learn about the most tragic backstory we've ever fucking heard in our lives, and me and Fats, like you said, we're all holding each other on the couch just in tears, just like her life was so hard, but she's still so positive and has such an upbeat attitude, and she was so cute. And bro, you know, you've already seen it, so it's not spoilers. Fucking Clevites like fully rejuvenates her so that she's like the best version of herself, and so like her teeth were knocked out from how many times she was abused, like uh she was overweight and all this stuff, and for su for whatever reason, apparently the best version of her is like skinny now.
SPEAKER_01And I don't know if I'm calling her skinny, she was still kind of thick.
SPEAKER_02Her boobs were still big, but they took away a lot of that excess weight that kind of like made her appealing in the first second we saw her, and I was a bit disappointed, like, not that I wanted to continual, you know, continually sexualizing such a tragic character, but like he's like, Oh, now you're gonna be the best version of yourself, and then I was like, Oh, so the best version of yourself is one with no ass. Okay, thanks, Clevites. Appreciate you, buddy. But anyways, so it didn't really do it for you, huh? We we really ended up liking it. Nell was what sealed the deal for us because we we weren't really sure at first.
SPEAKER_01I didn't mind it. I think for me, part of it too is like I'm not a huge like well, you know, I don't really love kids too. So then like I feel like the the baby is like the huge part of this anime too. So there's like there's a baby that they rescue, and then they're trying to like essentially get it back to the kingdom because it's the future king. And that's kind of like a big part of the whole premises or premises premise of the entire show. And so, like I'm not a huge like kid fan, but like obviously the whole thing is like we must protect this child. This child is the future of the like the country and da-da-da-da-da. And so I'm like, I don't know, I think it's for me, um like when things are like centered around the children or families or like I don't know, I guess like you like Anya from from Spy Family. I do, but it took me that long to even watch Spy Family because of Anya. Oh, so it naturally like if it if it was not yeah, if it was not an anime that featured a child, I might have watched that before. Or even the fact that it's called Spy Family, I might have watched it sooner if it wasn't because it was a family-based frickin' anime, like yeah, that makes sense.
SPEAKER_02So I I agree and somewhat like disagree about the child's role because the child does not have a huge role actually in the anime, but it is like a central focus in everyone's motive. Absolutely, and we haven't even mentioned like uh like the main chick yet, but she she becomes relevant later on. Um but yeah, dude, so the essential plot for people who haven't seen it is Clevites is some like god level demon threat that basically is fed up with humanity's bullshit, and he bas yeah, he goes to the the king of the immediate area that's around because the king sent an army after Clevites saying, like, oh, if you defeat this demon, we'll make you the champion of our country. They all die, uh, except for one. They all just get completely wrecked. Premeditated uh by the king, and so the king, or I mean Clevites goes straight to the fucking castle, kills everybody along the way, destroys half the village just getting to the castle, cuts the castle in half, and is like, Why the fuck did you disturb my slumber? And um basically the king doesn't give him the answer he expects, so he cuts the king's fucking head off, and uh as he's leaving the village, he's like, Alright, this is it, this is the last straw. I'm fed up with humanity, I'm killing them all. And then there's this lady who fucking has this baby, and she's like, please, please save this baby. And he's like, you know, why should I give a fuck about that baby? I'm about to destroy humanity. And she's like, nah, man, like it's not his fault. Like, it's not the baby's fault that that his fucking I guess at the time we didn't know that he was uh heir to the throne, but he's like, You can't blame this baby for the fucking bullshit that these stupid ass adults are doing. Like, you gotta give humanity a chance, like, and so he's like, you know what? Maybe you're right. Uh, I'll take this baby, and if this is the last fucking human on earth, maybe I'll grow to see if it becomes an asshole. So he takes it, he's raising it, which is super adorable because Clevites is like the size of a mountain, and he's taking care of this microscopic baby in comparison to him.
SPEAKER_01Why does it keep pooping itself?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. I thought it was crazy that he threw him into a pile of beetles, and we're like, oh no, what the fuck's going on? He's like, oh, these beetles live off excrement. So we're like, oh shit. So like there's natural ways to poop poop. Yeah, changing his diaper, and like uh the way they meet Nell is that they need to feed the baby, and they know the baby needs milk, and um he tries to resurrect one of the the warriors that tried to kill him in the in the opening scene, and uh she since she's not a mother, doesn't produce milk, so their next mission is when they go to find Nell, the thick chick we were talking about before, and since her titties are huge, Clevitess is like, oh, she she must be the one to feed this child.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's basically like you're an idiot, you don't know what you're doing. Not just any woman can frickin' feed a baby, you dumb duck.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I like the I like the fact, and I I guess I don't need to talk about every single fucking event that happens along the way, but basically the plot isn't so much that they want to get the baby back home and it's the mission to return the baby, as much as it's like Clevites wants to see what's going to happen with this human if he keeps a close eye on how it develops, because he believes that if he influences this baby enough, that maybe it won't grow to be a complete asshole. Maybe it'll grow to be a companion to the beast.
SPEAKER_01I almost feel like he still thinks that it will do that. Like he still thinks it's gonna come out like an asshole, but the warrior that he revives is like no, I have to do everything in my power to make sure that what he believes is going to happen isn't gonna happen.
SPEAKER_02So he's trying to influence the baby, and then she is trying to influence the baby.
SPEAKER_01I don't think he wants to admit it, but I think he just has grown attached to the baby.
SPEAKER_02Over time, yeah, totally.
SPEAKER_01Over time, and like he doesn't want to admit that, and that's why he still wants to be in the baby's life. But in reality, like she wants him to stay around the baby because if she does, or if he does, and they have that relationship, then then maybe the baby will understand that not necessarily like that the the beasts or the demons or whatever you want to call them aren't necessarily like bad. All the bad and then they can have like a decent relationship.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, I think um this baby is uh you know basically the deciding factor of whether or not humanity is gonna go into all-out war against these mystical demon creatures of the forest, or if they're going to facilitate some sort of peaceful agreement to where they leave the fucking demons and beasts alone and leave them to their fucking area in the forest and stop sending armies after them to fucking kill them and shit. And there's a deeper plot at hand as well, because we sort of learn at the end not to just skip all the way to the end, but there's basically some sort of cursed grimoire that has it out for Clevites and all the other beasts of the forest, because sort of similar to Attack on Titan, most of humanity, and I don't know if you could call them all humans, because some of them are like dog people or whatever, um, but uh most of humanity is surrounded by the dark forest, and that forest is you know the the place that inhabits all of the dark creatures similar to Clevites. Like Clevites is basically the strongest one, which I think does wonders for the plot devices that take place in between the beginning and the end, because in the beginning we're made to believe that these warriors aren't shit because they come up on Clevites and they get chopped into bits in five fucking seconds, you know? So we're like, okay, humanity doesn't stand a chance against these demons, uh, so what are they really gonna do? But then we later find out like Clevites is the fucking strongest of all of these demons. So whenever other ones appear and we see humans actually doing damage, we're like, oh shit, this dude is hella cool. It's like they set it up so that they nullify the hype in order to help you realize, oh, okay, they're not useless. They just happen to stumble upon the fucking the Goku of the wilderness, and no one's ever gonna beat Goku, so God forbid the first fight of the show is with him, you know? So yeah, man, it's it's I thought it was pretty interesting. I didn't think it was the greatest thing since fucking the wheel was invented or anything like that, but it was it was better than I thought it was gonna be, and honestly, I thought it was gonna be about the chick. I thought the because the cover isn't the dude with the horn, the cover is like the chick with all the scars and the eye patch, and like honestly, her fights are the best fights in the show. Like, even when she loses in the beginning, she gets her fucking leg cut off and just completely fucked up, her eye gouged out, and like every time she fights, the budget just skyrockets, and I always love when I'm able to see something like that, because uh some people just watch anime to see what happens, but other people kind of like analyze it as they're watching, and I happen to be one of those, and whenever I I wish I knew her name, I can't think of her name right now, but the blonde chick every every time she fights, she's so creative with how she uses her surroundings and her strength, and whenever Clevites like heals somebody, he like injects them with his essence basically. Pause. Um, and it basically makes them into the the best possible version of themselves, and they regenerate. So anytime she gets her hand cut off, it's gonna fucking come back together, but it still hurts. Um so like she'll literally use that to her advantage where she'll allow herself to get wounded in order to take down her enemy, and it's so cool to watch. Like, I don't know. I I I thought it was good. Um I'm really happy that you decided to indulge in it because oftentimes I'll recommend something, you'll watch one or two episodes, and you'll be like, nah. You know? So I'm glad that you did watch the whole thing. Yeah, no, I I I actually really love that you saw it through to the end. Um, and it's not the end because a whole new season is coming out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, when I when it finished, I was like, I think I'm at the end, question mark. Like, why what what?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the end of the season had quite a bit of closure.
SPEAKER_01It did not have quite a bit of closure. It was very confusing. I was like, why what is happening?
SPEAKER_02Um, but he found his mom. That was like part of the mission, right? Is finding his mom.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but then it was like, and then he's gonna be his tutor, and then I'm like, okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that part definitely took me by surprise because through the process of getting the baby from, you know, from the beginning and bringing it back to the end, once they find out it's the heir to the throne, along the way they find out about magic, and that magic is like a very new thing in this world, it's like experimental, and not too many people know how to do it, and even the people who do know how to do it aren't entirely sure of like what their limitations are and things like that. So once Clevites was learning about magic, he was like, hmm, this is super interesting. Like, magic gave an excuse to why Klevites is like keeping his identity a secret, but still able to use powers, you know. Um, because that's another thing, is like he's such a famous demon that if he just walks around revealing himself, then they're gonna be like, Oh, so his realm is unguarded. Let's go take his shit, you know. Um so like the fact that at the end he's like, Yeah, I'm gonna be this kid's new magic teacher. It was like, oh, okay, so this is his excuse to remain in the shadows while this kid grows up, so that he can, like we were saying, influence him to see if whether or not he's go or not influence, monitor. He wants to monitor him to see what he's gonna become. And this kid basically has the entire weight of the world on his shoulders, whether or not he grows up to be a prick like his fucking predecessors, or if he's gonna be a noble king that leads the world into peace. So, like, uh I I think the concept is super interesting. The fact that Clevites could end the world at any time is super interesting to me, you know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I guess.
SPEAKER_02Like he could just lift his finger and be like, you know what? Fuck this, fuck this baby, fuck this castle, fuck all of y'all. There's been nobody who could stand a chance against Clevitus the entire time, except for when they caught him off guard and sealed him. And even then when he was sealed, he was sealed for like half an episode and was like, Oh yeah, that's not really me over there, that's just like a percentage of me, and I'ma just leave it in there to make them believe I'm sealed away while I'm really over here doing shit with y'all. Yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I like their weapons. I like the fact that they had like weapons that they mined. Yeah, magicalized weapons that only a certain clan of uh of dog people could like forge, and like, you know, people are making counterfeit versions of the weapons to like, you know, sell to people and then they go off and get killed because their weapons don't work and they're not actually blessed. Like uh yeah, man. I I thought the world was interesting. It had sort of a Lord of the Rings type of vibe to it. Um and uh Yeah, I wouldn't have re I normally wouldn't recommend stuff of this nature to you because I know you're not super into like you know um fantasy type violent shows because people be getting chopped the fuck up. People are getting decapitated and and dismembered and stuff, so normally I wouldn't recommend stuff like this to you. Although I did sort of recommend Vinlan saga, and there's a lot of that too. So maybe I'm wrong.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, man, proves himself wrong.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. But I overthink everything, so I could've kept that to myself, but nah. Nah. That's funny. Are you making your bracelets?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm like just putting the words together.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I see you looking down and I'm like, this bitch making bracelets.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna carry on, Gasser. Carry on.
SPEAKER_01I'm multitask, and you can only hold like a small percentage of my attention at a time. I'm always doing multiple things at once. You think you have my full attention during this podcast? Nah. Never. You've never had my full attention during this podcast.
SPEAKER_02I just never knew because we don't typically do video. Yes. So I'm just assuming I'm assuming you're on the you're on the edge of your seat, like that Spider-Man meme where he's like this.
SPEAKER_01Sometimes I'm coloring, sometimes I'm like, yeah, no. It's literally in order for me to pay attention and when someone talks, I have to be doing something. Otherwise, I will completely zone out and I will not have any idea what you just said.
SPEAKER_02I'm actually super grateful that we're doing the podcast because yesterday was my day off. I only have one day off out here. We we work six days a week, ten hours a day, and I was so bored, and I talked to Fats on the phone. I was texting with Moy and Chris, and I texted you as well, and I just felt so lonely, man. Like, I'm not usually yeah, you know, usually that type of stuff doesn't bother me too much. Like, I kind of like being alone to a certain degree. I've always thought of myself as like Master Roshi just on his island, you know.
SPEAKER_01But also not really, because you're never really alone. Yeah, you're always With someone, you're always doing something, you're always on the go. Like, you don't ever just get to chill.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, between family and and friends and work, it's true that I don't get a lot. Maybe that's why. Maybe that's why I usually appreciate time to myself because it gives me an opportunity to wind down and like reset between interactions with people. Like, what do they call that? Like, charge the social battery. But like out here, for the most part, um, I guess I should give context. I've been working um out of state uh doing this job, and I really needed the job, so I came out here to do it. This is the beginning of my fourth week, so almost a month.
SPEAKER_01Oh damn.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I didn't realize you had gone that long.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I've been away from my daughter for almost a month. We've been FaceTiming, and um, for the most part, while I'm here, like I am social. Like, like you said, it's super easy for me to like get good vibes between people and make acquaintances. Um, but the word friend is something I cherish deeply, and I've come to learn that just because you're cool with someone doesn't necessarily make them your friend. And so while I've been out here, you know, I've been selective with who I let get close to me. You know, I kind of keep my headphones on, and I'll still be my normal friendly self and like, you know, be social and laugh with people and relate with people about things, but I haven't really let anybody in exactly. And I mean, literally yesterday I was eating breakfast in the okay, I guess I should continue to elaborate before I get into it. They they provide everything for me here. I'm not just working out of state and commuting. Uh, they have me in a room, they're paying for every meal, um, they're commuting me back and forth uh with a bus shuttle to the job. So I don't have to I have no expenses out here other than whatever I want to do extracurricular on my time off. Um so it's a great opportunity for me to make a bunch of money with all this overtime, and it's a great opportunity for me to not spend any money because all my expenses are taken care of. So, because of that, I pretty much just stay within the the scope of the job. If I'm not on the job site, I'm back here at the room. If I'm not in the room, I'm at the cafeteria, you know what I'm saying? So, yesterday was my only day off, Sunday, and I was in the cafeteria minding my own business with my headphones on, and a fucking fight breaks out, and there's like five people like trying to pull these two people off of each other, and like they're just swinging, and I was like, for a second, I was like, oh shit, and then it took about three seconds of watching that fight commence before I just started putting the fork up to my face again. It was just like ah, this ain't none of my business, and I just kept eating, you know, and I was like, see, this is why I don't get involved with people that I don't know like this to to this level, because um I went to Sacramento Job Corps years ago, and it felt like a mixture of college and prison, and that's honestly what this kind of feels like too. Like, aside from having to share my room with somebody back in those days and having a community bathroom that you had to use, like at least now I have my own bathroom, I have my own room, I have my own privacy, I can do my own thing, but everything else more or less is the same. It's all politics, it's all like, oh well, this this foreman doesn't like that person, so like make sure you don't say the wrong thing, or they'll fire you. Like, they fire people like hotcakes around here. And uh I don't know, because I'm like attempting to, you know, I don't want to get fired, I don't want to get involved with people, and then someone says something to someone I've been hanging out with, and I'm like, hey, don't talk to him like that. Uh and then next thing I know, I'm getting in a fight, and then I get kicked out because I tried to step up for somebody's honor or whatever the case may be.
SPEAKER_01Like, I just uh Do you know what it was about though? Because like I want the tea.
SPEAKER_02I had my headphones in, so I didn't hear what happened, but I can tell you who was fighting and who it was was um there's a a very mixed bag of like uh like nationalities and races and uh you know things like that out here. And I tend to like try to talk a little bit to everybody because I'm a bit racially ambiguous, so like I'll be kicking it with the black folks, I'll be kicking it with the white folks. The Mexicans think I'm Mexican, so they talk to me in Spanish all the time, and I'll be like, no sabe. But um, but basically uh at the table it was like you know, a bunch of black folks, kind of kind of bit older, like they were like in their 40s at least, and um it was this bigger black dude with a beard and glasses, and then it was this do you know what a stud is? I'm sure you do.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So there was this stud, and she had like dreads, and she was tall, she was like six foot, and she swung first. Like uh, like I saw them get a bit animated, and she stood up, and she started swinging, and that's when I took one of my headphone ears off, and I was like, what the fuck? And like I could tell by the way it went down that he was like he could have swung back too, but he just tried to grab her and stop her.
SPEAKER_01And I wonder if he said something homophobic.
SPEAKER_02I don't know, but all I heard when it got separate, because it took a minute for them to separate each other. Um when they separated them, all she kept saying was, I don't give a fuck. He disrespected me. And I was like, Oh, okay, so he must have said some off-color shit, and and she just fired off on him, which I understand because you know when you're presenting a s when you're presenting a certain way, you know, you wanna defend that presentation, right?
SPEAKER_01So like that, but also just like being a woman in the trades, too. Like I don't know if you know. You gotta be tough. Well, I don't know if you know this, but like so you know, like the number one way for a man to die in the trades is by accident, right? Okay, like you guys will like make some mistake on the job and you'll have an accident and you'll die. That's like the most common way statistically that men die in the trades. For a woman in the trades, statistically, the most common way for them to die is by a man.
SPEAKER_02You mean like murder, or what do you mean? Yes. That's super interesting. I never heard that before.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they were saying uh out I think I even told you this out here that the one of the leading causes of death on this job site specifically has been suicide. Which is super crazy.
SPEAKER_01Um that kind of makes sense too, just because uh well uh first of all, like checking checking in with yourself emotionally right now. Like you just said that you were feeling hella lonely, like doing that check-in like this job and the way it's set up right now, it seems like they're isolating people, and that doesn't bode well for mental health, and it doesn't seem like they're doing a whole lot to build community amongst you guys. It seems like what they're doing mostly and what they're more concerned about is just providing you guys with your basic needs, and here's a job, and then like not really worried too much, really, about like like they're like, I'm worried enough about it to bring it up, but not actually enough about it to do anything about it. Otherwise, they would be addressing it in ways of community building, or like, okay, on Saturdays we're going to have like team barbecues, or like it's hot today, so we're all gonna go to the lake and like hang out, or like something like that, you know, like those would be positive things that you guys could do to build community and like build a sense of belonging amongst you guys as co-workers, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem like that's what they are caring about.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, you're right. And I mean, there are little things, there are little areas where I could see that could build camaraderie amongst the you know the workers. Um, like there are moments where we're all in the tent. Uh I guess that's not very exp what's the word I'm looking for? That doesn't explain much. Um there are these big ass tents. There's like seven of them on the job where when we're not immediately working, like if we're on lunch or you know, if there's some sort of stop work that happens where we all have to stop and and re-evaluate and have a safety meeting, we go to these tents, and they're huge. They're like they're like warehouse-sized tents. And uh while we're in there, you know, sometimes we have no choice but to sit around and just make conversation while we're waiting for shit to happen. And those seem like moments where things could be, you know, um building camaraderie amongst people, but what ends up happening is like clickiness, where certain tables will sit in certain areas and not really talk to nobody else.
SPEAKER_01And it sounds like what you said, how it is giving like prison almost you guys are you guys are like getting it up via race and like that kind of shit, which is also not going to help with building a sense of community or belonging. What you guys should be doing is you should be celebrating each other's like activities in a way that uh promotes a healthy like community rather than creating a fucking space where it's different. Like, for example, what that man said to that woman, I guarantee he said something homophobic to her. I guarantee in some way, shape, or form, that's what it was.
SPEAKER_02Either that or just degrading to women altogether.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. And instead of doing something like that, what y'all could be doing is you could be fucking like I don't know, fucking going to the store and making a rainbow ass cake for her or some shit. Like doing something like that and be like, hey, happy pride, or even just saying, hey, happy pride, my sister's gay. I don't know. Even like something like that, or like I don't know, four days from now, it's gonna be Juneteenth. Y'all could fucking have a crab oil or some shit. Like, I don't know, some black shit. I don't know. How about black? I can't really tell you.
SPEAKER_02I know what you mean. Some barbecue. Yeah. Yeah, I've heard I've heard more hard R's in the last three weeks than I have in a while. And it's never been like it's never been out of hatred. It's been more like, oh, well, there's there's no black people around, so I'm gonna just slip this in here. And there was one time where I had to I had to check this dude because since since I'm mixed, I feel like people don't always know exactly what I am.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they think you're like fucking some kind of Pacific Islander or something.
SPEAKER_02Puerto Rican or Samoan or anything, you know, and there are a lot of islanders out here too. Um But freaking uh I had to check in and be like, hey man, you're you're pretty um you're pretty fast and loose with that word, you know. And I was like, you better check yourself when you're around these real cats, because like a nigga like me, I'm only halfway. So I don't know how much ground I have to stand on, like trying to check you for that, but the fact that you're only saying it now, but whenever we're in the tent and there's a lot more of us around, yeah, I haven't heard you say it then. You know what I'm saying? So I don't know why you're waiting for opportunities, or maybe you're testing the waters with me because I'm like halfway, so you're like, let me see what he does when I say this. And he was like, No, man, like I didn't really mean it in a racial way, I more just meant it in a way like I'm getting screwed, so they in-worded me.
SPEAKER_01And I was like, Okay, like I see that fucking argument. I had a kid literally try to say, like, they straight up said, like, that's gay in my class. And I looked at them and I was like, excuse you? And they were like, What? And I was like, What did you just say? And they were like, That's gay. And I was like, that is not okay. And then I pulled up the Hillary Duff commercial and I played it for them because I'm like, You want me to fucking have a teaching moment? Then I'm gonna have a teaching moment and I'm gonna make it really fucking cringy. That's what I'm gonna do.
SPEAKER_02Cringe. Ultimately.
SPEAKER_01In the same way that the N-word has been taken back by you in order for you to have that power. Just like queer has been taken back by us in order for us to have power.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, or the F-word for comedians. What? Not fuck the other F-word, the bad one for for gaming. Yes. Because I mean, in the same manner of speaking, like we're trying to nullify these uh what what are the words?
SPEAKER_01Um slurs.
SPEAKER_02Slurs? Yeah, we're trying to nullify these slurs by giving them back to the people who they were once used to degrade, but now, you know, if you're gay, you can use that word to represent yourself in a positive, silly way, rather than have it be some sort of negative way to put you down, right? So, like, um, yeah, man, ever since I said that to him, he hasn't said it again.
SPEAKER_01I haven't spent a lot of time with my dad, like in a while. Like, it's been a minute since I spent a lot of time with my dad, but the last few times that I've spent my spent any time with my dad, he said the hard R word, like in reference to disabled people. Like that hard R word. I'm oh okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like I was like I was like black cripples?
SPEAKER_01I don't understand. I get it now. No, no, no, that's the N-word, and he says the N-word too.
SPEAKER_02Well, you said hard R, so that's what I meant. You I thought you meant, but um, so yeah, he's just having a free-for-all with uh out here with all the bad words, and I'm like, bro, and he's because of this where he's at. It's the proximity thing. Like, if you're not around, dude.
SPEAKER_01But then I think black people aren't in your community, like he's always been like that. He's always said shit like that, though. Like he always has.
SPEAKER_02He's not the type to let other people tell him what to do or what he can or can't do. So I mean, I'm not gonna make excuses for him. It does kind of hurt to know that he might just, you know, not do that.
SPEAKER_01He does not have an N-word with a hard R, though. I will say that.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. Also, he says that's nice. It in a way, it doesn't make it better, but it does make me feel better because the last thing I would want is for someone I love to.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. For some reason, the N-word with a hard R is worse.
SPEAKER_02It feels worse to the ear.
SPEAKER_01You know, like does feel worse to the ear. And I will say, when my dad says the N-word, he's usually like I don't know. He says it in like a like a positive way. Like a broy way? I don't even know. It's weird.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I know what you mean. I know what you mean. There's there's a certain, and I mean your dad doesn't fall in this category, but there's a certain uh faction of white people that do use the N-word in a broy kind of way because of media, because they grew up watching black shows, or they grew up in a black area, or they feel like inside they want to present as a sort of black comrade, so like you know, they'll kind of talk in a certain way, carry themselves a certain way. Your dad isn't like that, but I think he may be influenced by that similar kind of energy.
SPEAKER_01Ki I guess maybe just because he grew up in like the area like Sacramento, Roseville, Auburn kind of area. But he says it in like the like if someone like tries to put one on him, he'll be like, N-word please, and I'll be like, excuse me, what the hell did you say?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and he's he's trying to be funny too. So yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01That's what it is. Is it's like he's trying to be funny and he's trying to like he's using common phrases, but he only uses it in like those phrases, and he's not just gonna go around and call someone the N-word. Right like he only says it in a in a phrase like that. But I don't know, and it again, it doesn't make it better. I think it's still fucking weird and gross.
SPEAKER_02But it's a bit cringe, yeah, and it's it's that he's between worlds, you know, like his parents would probably use it in the angry, hateful way, and his children aren't gonna use it in any way.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, meaning he uses it every fucking day, like that's also the the Mexican sort of uh uh how should I use it?
SPEAKER_02Like gang culture, you know? Yeah, something about that gang culture, you know, they want to present that sort of black presentation, you know, and uh I don't know, there's a lot of people.
SPEAKER_01But it's also racism, like straight up, it is racism. Nikki is racist, like yeah, she will straight up be the first person to tell you I'm racist. Like, you're probably the only black person that she likes.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Other than I think our cousin Dion.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. You have a cousin named Dion?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's by marriage.
SPEAKER_02Nice, yeah. That's what's up. At least we got one brother in there.
SPEAKER_01Um but uh yeah, man, at the end of the day, like uh I think his name is like also Dion, but I think it's like a junior or something. I don't know. Everybody out here just naming their kids after themselves. But yeah, anyway, so that's all that and shit and fucking shit. Basically, what I'm trying to say is like y'all just need to like fucking come together. Right now. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02Doom doom done. Yeah, dude, it's uh it's pretty isolating out here, man. Um I I've definitely made acquaintances.
SPEAKER_01Um like you said, it's super boring as hell or I would come visit you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm still hella hours away from where you're at, but if you ever get the wild hair, I'll be here. I am gonna take so when you first get here, uh they give you like a certain amount of days off, and then every day that you're here, you build a tenth of a day. So after ten days, you've built one day off, and it's still unpaid, but um you basically have a get out of jail free card where you can use them however you please, and they've they've gone out of their way to say, like, we're not gonna judge you for taking a day off. Some of us have been here for eight fucking months, so like if someone wants a day, we just give them a day. We're not gonna give your seat to someone else. Like, there's like 700 workers out here, it's like tons of people. Um, so because of that, uh, Father's Day is coming up next weekend.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, you're gonna go.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I took the day off before Father's Day, and I took the day off after Father's Day, so I don't have to travel 12 hours in one single day, you know.
SPEAKER_01Do you get weekends off?
SPEAKER_02Only only Sunday.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you only get Sunday off?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. Yesterday was my only day off, but this coming weekend I'm gonna have three days. Um, and I'm Working nights, so even when I do come back, I'll be you know, I won't have to start work till this weekend is Father's Day. Yeah. Oh, that's funny. I'm doing Saturday afternoon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, usually Father's Day, I feel like is on Sunday.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if you do talk to your dad, tell that nigga I said what's up. No.
SPEAKER_01But um I will say, hello, Father. AJ said hello and what is up. No, it's funny, actually, I was talking to him because he was saying that he he likes kids and he's always like picking up kids as like friends and always wanting to hang out with them. And I was like, I do think that's funny because I feel like you were like that with like Ricky and Age or Ricky and and Destiny and um which do you remember Ricky? Because she was only in our grade for like one year.
SPEAKER_03Ricky got held back.
SPEAKER_01Ricky fucking goddamn, I don't even remember her last name.
SPEAKER_02Wow, I haven't heard that name in forever, but you know what's crazy?
SPEAKER_01She was like my best friend for a minute, and my dad loved yeah, we lived like right down the street from each other, and my dad loved the shit out of her. There's a picture of her and Nikki cuddling on the couch in my fucking uh scrapbook. You know what?
SPEAKER_02It's crazy. I did not she is a very mysterious person in my life, and I know that like you might have no idea about this, but when I was in like when I was in like second or third grade, maybe like way before we were friends, but we still like knew of each other, um, I had my zipper down in the cafeteria, and Ricky walked up to me and said, Your Willie's out, and I was like, What? And I looked down and it wasn't, but my boxers were showing, and she walked up to me and grabbed my zipper and zipped it up. And I was just stunned. I was sitting there and I looked at her and then she walked away, and I was in love. I was like, oh my god, like no girl has ever given me attention in this sort of area, and obviously that was way before any sexual attention. Exactly, and I was like, oh my god, like yeah, would not be surprised.
SPEAKER_01This is pure speculation, do not know if this is actually uh true or anything, but I would not be surprised if something happened to her in her younger years, solely because of some of the the interactions that I had with her growing up. And like, I just remember like I remember being really young, like I mean, this is before even middle school when we were friends, because we weren't friends in middle school, and like I remember her sh showing me her underwear drawer and like being very like I don't know, like just like look at these, look what I got, like, and I was like, okay, like and mind you, I was already speculating that I was gay, like I had been speculating that I was gay since I was in like second grade. Wow and like I but my mom and my dad were both very much like pretty anti-gay, like outwardly, but like I remember like there was a kid that I had been friends with that was like I would like sneak looks at her and stuff, and she was a few years older than me, so she was more developed than I was. Um but yeah, no, and but with her, like I remember her doing that stuff, and I was just like why were we doing this? I thought we were just gonna get changed and go swimming. Like I was very confused because we were I was very innocent, mind you, still growing up. Like Of course, I was in I was incredibly innocent. I grew up very sheltered. Like I remember being I remember being in like online chat groups, like in the seventh grade, and like some guy asking me online if I was wet, and I was like, and I don't even remember what we were talking about. We were like not talking about anything weird at all. And I was like, What do you mean am I wet? It's like 70 degrees outside sunny skies, it's not raining. Why would I be wet?
SPEAKER_02And they I I think I remember this story because they thought you were older, and possibly you used to have your what is it called, seductress type um title on your loving escort. That's what it was. Loving escorts. I didn't know escort had multiple meanings, but yeah, again, I was incredibly you thought you were leading people along the path, but in reality, you were leading them towards disappointment.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but yeah, again, I was incredibly innocent, and so she's like showing me her underwear drawer, and I'm over here trying to fucking have like flower soup, and like I'm just like, what is going on? So I would not be surprised, honestly, if something had happened to her in the young hood, especially like with me, like I would never go up to a boy that young and just be like, your dick's out, let me zip it up for you. Like, that's crazy talk for a lot of people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she seemed super comfortable with sexual things at a young age for sure.
SPEAKER_01Knowing knowing me, like, or knowing me, knowing child psychology too, like that is completely abnormal behavior for a child.
SPEAKER_02Hmm. Yeah, yeah, man. I um I saw her at the please remind me to bleep her last name so we're not like defamation of character over here, but um, I saw her at the gas station a while ago, and she recognized me right away. And she's like, Oh my god, AJ, how are you? How have you been? Like she wasn't just like, hey, what's up, and kept moving. She like stopped what she was doing and like gave me her full attention, and I was like, Oh shit, like I haven't seen you in forever, and she hasn't grown an inch, she's short as fuck.
SPEAKER_01I think it's funny. I see her on um Instagram sometimes, but like she seems uh like it makes sense. She just gives uh like redneck river rat.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I could see that.
SPEAKER_01Where she just hangs out at the river all summer long.
SPEAKER_02She used to date that blonde kid, Aaron, who was kind of like my bully back when I was young.
SPEAKER_01Bro, that kid was another kid that was like there had to be some well, actually, I don't know with boys. Boys are always weird, but like I remember being in fourth grade or fifth grade or something like that, and there was like a condom on the freaking like sidewalk. And like when remember when we used to line up for like classes, and I was in Mrs. McNichol's class, and he I think he was in my class too, and there was like a condom on the sidewalk, like next to or by the class or something like that, and he was like, There's a condom, and I was like, I don't know what that is. And I went home and I was like, There was a condom on the ground, and my mom freaked the fuck out. And like, because again, like I didn't know what was going on, and like again, these kids just be knowing shit, and I'm like, what the hell? Like, I wouldn't be surprised.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, some parents some parents introduce their kids to things they shouldn't be introduced to super young. Other kids get exposed to things that they shouldn't be exposed to, and nobody even knows because people are gross and creepy and tell kids to keep things secrets and shit like that. So, like, I wouldn't be surprised if some sort some sort of abuse was happening, uh, like the common thing between these two people. Um but I I've always had a weird if I could put a percentage on crushes, I've always had like a 1% crush on Ricky solely based on my first introduction to her at the school. Yeah, like I've always had like a oh, like she's always been super pretty, she's always been super funny. Like, every interaction I've dude, like I don't know what it is about her I really thought she was gonna be gay. Who knows? She might be she might be bi, you know, she might you know not have a preference either way, she might just be someone who's very comfortable in her body, and maybe because perhaps something may have been introduced to her too soon, uh, maybe her sexuality has something she's been able to explore a lot longer than we have, you know? So who knows, man? Um, not to harp too much on this one random person on this anime podcast, but she definitely has that Suntere vibe where she kind of makes it seem like it ain't shit to her. Like whatever is super crazy to you, and you're like, oh my god, she's about to touch my belt buckle, she's like, Yeah, nigga, zip your shit. You know? So I don't know, man. Um I would I would enjoy hanging out with that person again and just seeing where it goes because I've never had a bad experience with them. It's always been something funny or something like that.
SPEAKER_01I don't remember why we stopped being friends, but I do think that she was a bitch to me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think for a minute.
SPEAKER_01But to be fair, a lot of people were bitches to me.
SPEAKER_02So I think it's the popular thing. I think for a while she was like sort of categorized in that popular girl sort of role, and then over time, you know, obviously we're not in high school anymore. She probably let that shit go and just let herself be who she is, which is, you know, a freaking bisexual river rat.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, I do believe that you have work here soon, and I don't want to like keep you away from your get ready routine. So we should probably wrap this up.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh what would you rank clevitess as far as like you know like out of five? Out of five, out of ten, whatever's more comfortable for you.
SPEAKER_01Uh like a 2.5.
SPEAKER_02Damn, so you pretty much hated it.
SPEAKER_01No. 2. If it's out of five.
SPEAKER_02Oh, out of five. Okay, because I didn't know which one you chose. So I was like 2.5 out of 10. Okay, yeah, that's that's not bad. That's like a C.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, if it's out of five, it's like average. It's like whatever. Like Okay.
SPEAKER_02It was enough to keep you watching.
SPEAKER_01It's enough to keep you watching, but I don't need to see the next season. Like, I don't really care.
SPEAKER_02So for the fans, if we do Clevites season two review, it'll be with fats. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Anyway, I hope you guys have a great summer.
SPEAKER_02I know you're gonna have a great summer in bed and on the couch and at the lake and kicking it.
SPEAKER_01Ain't no lake out here, but yeah.
SPEAKER_02Ain't no lake.
SPEAKER_01Ain't no lake.
SPEAKER_02Ain't no lake. Ain't no lake.
SPEAKER_01Ain't no lake.
SPEAKER_02Hey, wasn't there something you were gonna Oh wait, you Oh that's right, you have an above ground pool you just got, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, except the only issue is that is at the bottom. Um we sorely mis uh calculated our the grade of our yard. And so one side it's like all five feet in the water is full, and the other side it's like to the bottom rung of the ladder. Like maybe like eight inches.
SPEAKER_02So you gotta like build some sort of thing to flatten it out.
SPEAKER_01Uh or maybe you can dig how long did it take you to fill it? Like a day.
SPEAKER_02Okay, well of water. Depending on how much it Oh shit. Depending on uh how long or not how long. What am I trying to frickin' formulate this sentence to be? Depending on how much it bothers you when you're in there that oh we gotta be on one side if we want our shoulders to to be underwater, you could drain it and rather than build something to go underneath it to support it, which would probably end out bad, you'd probably be able to dig out the high side and level it out that way.
SPEAKER_01Probably, but that would also be a lot of work.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's why I say it depends on how much it bothers you.
SPEAKER_01I don't know how I'm like bad at digging, but yeah, anyways, I should let you go. I love you, I love all the fans. I hope you guys have a good day. I hope uh you leave a comment and like and subscribe, and um don't forget to give us stars and comments and tell Tara what your favorite fish is. Tell Tara what your favorite fish is. Anyway, goodbye.
SPEAKER_02I love you. Bye bye.
