Doc2Doc Podcast September 2024: Understanding Strabismus and Coloboma

In this Doc2Doc podcast episode, hosts Albert Cheung, M.D., and Katie Rachon, O.D., FAAO, engage with EyeCare Partners providers Mary Weimer, M.D., and Terri Gossard, O.D., on the topics of strabismus and coloboma. Strabismus involves misalignment of the eyes while coloboma involves missing tissue from part of the eye that occurs during development. 

Both conditions were brought to light with Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and his performance and medal win this past summer at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. Nedoroscik is now competing on Dancing With the Stars.
