In the first century, Roman writer Pliny the Younger wrote a letter recounting a chilling tale of a haunted house in Athens, where the ghost of a chained, emaciated man terrified residents. This is believed to be one of the first documented haunted house stories in history, and over the centuries, thousands (both fiction and non-fiction) have been told.
Living in a haunted house is a particular type of terror - no respite, no safety and nowhere to go in the dark night when creaks and shadows follow you. In this episode, M recounts true stories of peoples experiences living in a haunted house.
