In October 2022, he took a handful of pills and washed it down with hard liquor, hoping to never wake up. But as he took what would be his final steps, his Spirit lashed out…and fought for Life.
JD Wright has battled with Mental Health Challenges for his entire life to varying degrees. That culminated in several critical trauma points, triggering debilitating Panic Attacks. The Battle got so fierce, he was driven to take his own Life. Until, at the final moment, he pursued help.
Now, one year later, he is returning to the site of his greatest trauma to Face the Impossible and run a Full Marathon. His battle is not over, and it may never cede, yet JD is a perfect example of how to Be Impossible in the Face of The Impossible…every day.
