Not just in worship and at church, but in how we live our day-to-day lives, when we go to work and how we treat others. I pray, Lord, that you will forgive us for showing favoritism, for neglecting the poor, for speaking lies, or holding grudges. Lord, would you cleanse our hearts from injustice, deception, and indifference. Teach us to love our neighbors as ourselves, to revere your name in our dealings, and to reflect your holiness in our choices. Help us to honor our parents, to guard our speech, to be generous with what we have and to walk in integrity. I pray that you will make us a distinct people, not strange, but set apart'cause of the love, the justice, and the mercy we reveal about you in all things. May we live like you are near to us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
