Within the Israelite possession, there were 48 cities and all with their pasture lands for the Levites. Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasture lands. This was true for all the cities. so the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. The Lord gave them rest on every side according to all he had sworn to their ancestors. None of their enemies were able to stand against them for the Lord handed over all their enemies to them. none of the good promises the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed. everything was fulfilled. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we see from Joshua chapter one, that last line, you keep every promise that you make, not one word from your mouth falls to the ground. Help us remember your faithfulness when we're still waiting on other parts of the story. I pray that you would teach us to trust your timing and the rest in your provision. Let gratitude rise within us as we look back and see how far you've taken us and as we move forward, I pray that you would anchor our confidence in knowing that you are faithful. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
