A man named Jabez who cried out to you and asked for a blessing in your presence and your help. Help us believe you for the same things. Would you be with us? Would you guide us? And would you strengthen us for the work that you've called us to do? Not so that we can make much of ourselves, but so that we can live lives that make much about you. Help us not to be defined by our past, by our pain, or by the labels others have placed on us. Jesus, we say thank you that your grace gives us a new identity and a new future. So lead us today. Expand our capacity to love, to serve, and to impact others. Keep us close to you and let your hand be always upon us in everything we do. In Jesus' name we pray, amen
