Greetings to the episode about the politics of Potterville, but really it's kind of an early Christmas episode all around. There will be a couple of things Christmas related here early. First off, Exmus. We've got to address that, right? And people giving upset if you say, Merry, Xmas, that you're not keeping Christ in Christmas. Well, if you go to @JLenardDetroit YouTube channel, you will see from a long time ago I have a vlog dealing with that, particularly, inexplicably or implicitly. However you want to say that, Christmas, Christos, Mass. So those saying, Mary, Exmus are not cutting Christ out of Christmas. It is Xristos Mass. So can we please stop getting upset about that silly little thing? When there are so many more bigger things as Christians to be worried about. The whole war on Christmas thing as part of the cultural wars is a greater concern than someone saying, Merry Xmas, as opposed to someone saying, nothing at all. And I did it, I understand, and I don't have a huge deal with a store wanting to say happy holidays to include Hanukkah and Christmas together because people are buying gifts for both those holidays. So can we please tone down the if they're saying happy holidays? It is somehow an attack on Christianity. It really isn't. The other thing that I go into in the Liberty Beacon dot com piece, the politics of Potterville and being about Christmas in general. I hope you will check out, is die hard a Christmas movie and hint, spoiler alert in movie bar lamps. It is. Why is it? Well, read the article, the 12 points as in the 12 days of Christmas as in the 12 apostles, seeing the 12, the 12 reasons why die hard is a Christmas movie, all very valid, including one major spoiler alert. The writer of the movie says it as, I would think that the people, the producers and the writers who came together to put the movie out would know their intention of it being a Christmas movie or not. So those two things put to bed. The other, the politics of Potterville, if you haven't got the connection, the movie connection into a wonderful life. Well, firstless dispense of the whole Clarence Angel saving George from taking his own life and how the world would be different. As most you know, I am author of Terror strikes coming soon to a city near you. And suicide prevention is a major sub scene. Again, Terror strikes coming soon to a city near you. I'm driving a note here is yes, about terrorism, but not book about death, but life and living life over death, hope over fear, faith over despair, love over hate, good over evil, individualism over collectivism, freedom over tyranny, family and friends, life. And yeah, I read that every time to make sure I don't skip or miss any of those little sub themes and a behind the scenes if you haven't gone to Terror strikes dot info slash interviews and may be seen an interview that I give about the book and speak about that. Then the hope over fear is almost kind of sort of literal and figurative. I'm saying it's a book about hope over fear, but in a semi literal sense, but not exactly because this part of the historical fiction book is fiction. Martin's wife's name was originally going to be Marina, but I didn't want the connotation of an ancestral heritage that name might suggest. I wanted to leave that open to people's own imaginations and using Marina would have led people down a road I didn't necessarily want them down. So after much deliberation of faith, hope, charity, grace, I settled on hope. So in a sense, literal hope over fear and despair is in the book. But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about. But that is in Terror strikes coming soon to a city new you the importance of it's a wonderful life. I literally do indeed use that as an example. Be someone's clearance. Now it's a wonderful life. Obviously is a major overdramatization of life to make a point. You may not stop a pharmacist from killing the child and ruining dozens of people's lives. That's a very big overdramatization. But there are a lot of little things that you may not remember recall or realize made a major impact on other people's lives that if you weren't here wouldn't have happened. And let's say if I prevent someone else from committing suicide whose child then goes on to cure cancer, I played a part in curing cancer. Because if we don't prevent that person from committing suicide, that child isn't here then to cure cancer. But the politics of Potterville is what I wanted to address in so far as what happens like with a credit union. There's micro versus macro. On the micro level the credit union is a collective. Uh oh, collectivism. Did I not just say individualism over collectivism? I'm not about that. That's communism. Well on a micro level those people coming together make sense. That is a choice they freely make coming together for each of their own individual benefits while helping others. And as George says in the movie when they come for their money, well your money is in your neighbor's house. You're helping each other. That is to your own individual benefit. That's micro level communism if you must versus macro. That doesn't work Bradford colony. The Mayflower Communist Compact. No one owned everything. It was a collective and they almost all started death because Atlas shrugged if you will. More and more people decided to do nothing. Those who were pulling the cart started to do less because they were tired of pulling all these people in the cart who weren't doing anything. But we're getting a complete and free equal share of the harvest and a roof over their head. They almost all started death. So Bradford instituted private property ownership and free market capitalism. And if Paul Harvey would say now you know the rest of the story and as the saying goes the rest is history. America went on to become what it is today. A nation with a system that has lifted more people out of poverty than in the entire history of this planet. And yeah I'm going to acknowledge if you heard the phone ringing I forgot to unplug the phone. I just ignored it. If you heard it if you didn't hear it well yeah the phone did ring since I forgot to unplug it. At any rate the other issue the politics of Potterville. Potter wanted to engage in monopolistic practices. He wanted to put out Georges savings and loans so he would have a monopoly over the people of that area. And therefore only in Rich himself have power and control over the entire community. He hated competition. Another piece of politics you may not have actually read into that movie that is there you now know and I hope you will discuss with others. And of course when Georgia was gone you saw the alternate reality of the entire town becoming Potterville. He was basically the dictator of the town because there was no one there no savings and loan to oppose him and his monopolistic practices his dictatorial want of desire and control over that community. Soslan Newell Temanson: so first of all I want to say thank you so much for allowing me to come on your podcast and um and this is I mean I'm very blessed that we can I know I'm a co-host we're both co-hosts of savage film military um and it is definitely I have a blast talking with you every single time that we're both fun and I just really want to say that you truly are a mentor that I look up to
oh I like that and I see for for those who will hear this only on the audio broadcast rather than the atjlunder Detroit youtube a rubble channel channel video behind the scenes sneak peek I want to point out you've got the blue lives matter flag with hold fast under it so I just wanted to mention that for the audio only so you know one thing that I have come up about um so one thing is I was born in Russia I came to America in 2006 I lived under communism for over eight and a half years and and I say this constantly on my my podcast is also support and and the quickshot support is that you know what when you come to a country that's got freedom when you get when you come to a country that you can do whatever you want and not get in trouble for it you know you want to hold on to it and it's also interesting because I'm I'm grown a love to this nation you know and in um matter of fact I love this nation so much where I've decided to join the United States military and I served our military because I love this country so much but it wasn't till after I got on the military where I started kind of you can say get more involved besides being in the military it was interesting because this really took a prevalent where I started like you know you probably noticed with my feet and you probably noticed where I started positioning and um you can say I'm targeting I wouldn't say targeting but I'm positioning myself to go after these so-called Christians and these and the so-called Republican Party and it's interesting because a lot of people have come after me and I've been under fine but it was interesting because you bring up what I loved your my open monologue or your open monologue I'm sorry is you mentioned the word you know how the so-called Christians are like want to be Christians but at the same time they're really not and this brings me to what happened earlier this year okay I was absolutely flabbergasted of how I got treated number one because I thought because you went to a Christian college I thought it was cool okay people agree on the same mindset they are trying to fight for pro-life try to stand for American values stand up and are very energetic about it well there was once I started realizing that people are not big fan of me and how I knew that was I decided to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance and that's when things went downhill really really quick and it was that I can safely say it was at O'Kill's Christian College because I want them to you know I want them to know what like you know the fact that they try to silence me I want to read you part of the the discipline or thing if you're you're not going to see this if you're on audio or not but I'm going to read you I'm not going to read you the whole thing but I want to read you this two paragraphs there's two short tiny paragraphs while O'Kill's Christian College supports Christian involvement in the public arena including self-involved or including involvement in politics that involvement must reflect the highest standards in Christ's likeness exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit is delighted and Galatians chapter 5 verse 22 and 23 as the and then as discharged in deep humility and so it's interesting because it was very interesting because in paragraph one you also state that that like for instance specifically concerning your agreement to refrain from political activism and publicly utilizing your status as pastoral studies major O'Kill's Christian College to advance her credibility into Senate endeavors see oh and this gets better too as most recently evidenced evidenced by your local disruption of a local school board meeting your attempt as a non-resident up in Meiji to run for vice president of the local school or the local school board or local Republican party will while refraining your status at O'Kill's student and the list can go on you know the interesting part is is that one paragraph to school or I mean this tends to be like other schools I wanted to hear the line so call you know they want you to be involved number one but it's interesting because they want you to be involved but we want you to push a certain agenda that's the thing that is scary and especially as I mean when you have to find out Joseph I gotta tell you this since this was published and I did publish this by the way and I want to tell you for any listeners that are listening and so I did not lie when I went on my podcast I don't know if you heard my podcast or not listening up like where Sos speaks out there was no way that I lied about this and this is coming from a Christian college where they stated that I lied and I went and I was targeting Oak Hill's Christian College in a derogatory way and that is not Christ likeness well what is in Christ likeness is making up false accusations you know and what also is in Christ likeness is going targeting somebody just because they think differently and just because days because they actually have the kohonas to stand up for what is right and they see the bigger picture you know we look at the big we look at this and I said this to the president but the the president of the school but the president of the school the matter of fact he said he's a pastor he just sat there and laughed at me and it was absolutely humiliating to sit through that I said you know what I want to say imagine your imagine the field imagine your house is on fire okay and you're in the house and I'm trying to warn you okay here's what's going on and you need to be you need to get out of that house right away because you're gonna everything's going to burn you're gonna get hurt or the list can go on but you stay inside well I did my job as a brother in Christ to tell you what's up I do my job as like in Catholicism we have mentors and we have a spiritual guidance you know if you see something you have to correct your brother you know you have to correct your brother or sister to make sure that they know they come to repentance they can come into saying okay you know I messed up okay let me let me group up with you let's do this together as a prayer warrior it just blew my mind how we become a you know the Christian colleges are creeping more towards um politicism and being politically correct because it's interesting as we continue to go down and that one is um this this is concerned and communicated directly and indirectly with Okeo's leadership by Christians non-Christians and members of both Republican and Democratic parties to me Joseph what do you think when you hear that what do you think from a school do you think that's what do you think about that
Joseph M Lenard: you know they're they're trying to have it every which way and be of the world rather than of the word because you are standing like the Christians of our resolution did they stood for freedom individualism not collectivism but freedom over tyranny the Black robe regaves that I go into in my christitutions politics the book version and to push back on that shows that they are part of the woke crowd the worldly crowd and you know they just they you know let's be a little Christian but you know I don't want to push you know they don't want they want Kush they want a cushy life they want the pews to be open for all comers to put the money in the jar and not preach the whole Bible they want to pick and choose again because so that the worldly money continues to flow rather than do their duty to preach the entire word yeah but isn't that I
Soslan Newell Temanson: mean to me how by the way how I got treated from the school it was so I got so probably a lot of you guys didn't know about this but I have to let me show you what the school said in this is if I wanted to come back to them okay this is how sick and twisted the school is okay if you were to be re-emitted the following conditions would need to be followed you would be placed under campus arrest as outlined in the handbook page 38 you need to see evidence of change in character humility and self-control refrained from engaging in local politics specifically school board that's what states school board meetings for remainder of your time at Oak Hills Christian College I mean
Joseph M Lenard: they they are literally here saying we don't want you as a fellow Christian to potentially be on the school board joining other Christians who are fighting the Sodom and Gomorrah pornography being peddled on our students I mean that tells you right there and they don't want to upset the Democrat death cult party I mean they won't speak out about abortion either yeah yeah again they are of the world and they want to try to keep you know one foot in in the Bible and the majority of the rest of their body in the world and you just you've got to pick one or the other right if you're taking you take an oath to the Constitution if you're an elected official as a pastor a priest a minister or whatever you take a higher oath to God and these people are clearly picking an oath to walkism yeah cultural Marxism pedaling porn on children murdering children in the womb over the
Soslan Newell Temanson: Bible yes and get this okay not only did they say specifically refrained from it but then they say that participate in mental health therapy okay and with a therapist for the duration of a treatment as they determine and then sign a release form of information between the therapist and the dean of students of life to determine the progress and of course you're going to be proud of me so you know how he signed yeah yeah I didn't sign yeah that's good yeah because because the whole thing is that now that is a slap in the face okay first of all okay okay since when do we since when do we think that so now we're mentally ill if we stand up for the Christian values that I mean that's that's what we and then yeah we're we're also mentally ill for holding people accountable say no no no and you can't go after kids number one number two you can't go after college students and you're like um you're anti-Semitic teachings number two number three you can't go after indoctrination people into hitting this country I mean so right away and you can't twist the Bible to interpret it your way so those two things okay is a slap in the face especially to an immigrant and a veteran that served for this country and the fact that they thought it was mentally like they have taken the next step and this what absolutely blows my mind and that's why you know I let I came up with it that's that's the left

He continues to profess his Atheism BUT that Moral precepts often attributed to Religion/Faith as COMMON SENSE that I shall not Murder you nor you me, I have NO Right to your stuff nor you mine, and on and on, basis’s in our Laws....

There are “supposed Christians” to the tune of 30-50M not even Registered to Vote let-alone (another 10-30M Registered that don’t even Vote or) who refuse to get off their asses in any way to do a damn thing to change our downhill slide. They cling to 2 Chronicles 7:14 and ignore all other Biblical contextual calls for actual action… Sadly they, in-my-opinion, are as bad as the scum as they just sit around and whine about, just coasting expecting and entitled in a different sense; and don’t expect (as “Known by their Fruits” (Your Fruits, actions you take to Sow and grow something — “If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice” certainly RUSH Rock Group not Bible Prophets, but that line prophetic none-the-less)) ever be Judged? Remember inaction is an action unto itself too - feeling they are aloof and Holier-than-all (hubris/pride) to ever be held accountable for their IDLENESS.

The Left is not Progressive, they are regressive. They have not learned anything from History. Period! Learn from America!!! We tried Communism (“CommonWealth”) here in USA long before them all and of course it failed then too. The Bradford Colony tried (remember The Mayflower [communist] Compact?!?!) which promised they would all have EQUITY (the bullshit the Left peddles today rather than EQUAL RIGHTS and EQUAL OPPORTUNITY) that all would have “Equal Stakes” and “Equal Shares” of everything despite their level of work put in. Of course, guess what, ATLAS SHRUGGED ((likely where Ayn Rand got the idea, and) which is why the Left BANNED that Classic book from being read in Schools) as more and more (because it is Human Nature that some would be lazy) decided to do nothing and ride in the cart and the Cart had less and less people to pull the Cart. They almost all starved to death!!! UNTIL, Bradford recognized the failure of the Mayflower Compact and their settlement and instituted Free Markets, Private Property ownership, and all the great concepts America then went on to foster -- and as the saying goes “the rest is History” (that people fail to learn from). And as Paul Harvey used to say “Now you know #TheRestOfTheStory!”

Then bring up the MAGNA-CARTA, THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE of USA, THE US CONSTITUTION, and the GOP PLATFORM, and see how they are the same (which is NOT to say all Republicans are great and about preserving our great and most unique Republic there are CINOs and RINOs as bad as FASCICRATS but the direction of the Parties could not be clearer – so spare me the UniParty shit (yes, CINOs, RINOs, FASCICRATS, , just all at different pace, are destroying the USA but spare me the there is no difference bullshit (what have YOU done regarding your contention?) and get off your ass and become a Delegate and make the GOP great again)). Sorry, while yes the GOP was an “alternate” Party of its time, now is not then, Third-Parties today amount to nothing and will never amount to anything (which is why Libertarians that actually CARE to matter have run and been Elected as Republicans (you know the examples)).
